Hey, I'm Mary! It's nice to meet you. I am a New York City-based photographer championing spaces where all joy is seen and celebrated. Originally from Indiana, I'm now based in Manhattan, where I live with my wife, Rosalie, and our cat, Ramsay. I have a formal background in theater and have been immensely privileged to work and train all over the world.

Each wedding marks the start of a family, and they are once in a life time events! So far I have photographed close to hundred weddings. I have the opportunity to create timeless images for my clients that will be valued by generations. That is why I don't believe in third party post-processing, I personally edit the photographs and re-touch the close ups to show my clients in the best light possible.

I grew up in Amagansett, NY, one town away from Montauk, hanging out at the ocean, riding horses, and photographing my plastic Breyer horse models in different scenarios with my little crappy film camera, always searching for the perfect light. I have since moved on to photographing people with better equipment and I still always search for that perfect light. I now live in the lovely Hudson Valley after a long stint in NYC and Brooklyn where I trained under fashion and editorial photographers before starting my own photography business almost 20 years ago. Full disclosure, I'm a little scared of the ocean.
