From the start Becca was easy to talk to, and so helpful in the planning process; from her helpful planning videos you receive as a client, planned video calls, her detailed timeline, and photography form to fill out, she made the whole planning process so much easier. She also gave lots of great advice for the day, including the decision to do a first look ahead of the ceremony. I was hesitant at first as I wanted to do the real reveal at the church, but after talking with her we decided to do the first look. I’m so glad we did as Becca was right, it took a lot of pressure of the rest of the day and gave us time to really soak that moment in just the two of us. This also allowed us more time to enjoy other parts of our day like attending the entire cocktail hour! Looking forward to the day, I was worried that I was going to hate having to take so many photos and being in front of the camera and felt like it was going to feel like wasted time in the day. Now, I am so happy that I had Becca for this, my husband and I had so much fun interacting with the photographers. “Thomas and his team were wonderful for our wedding in December! Right from the start he was super helpful to give us all the information and didn't sugar coat anything. I will say I was a little suspicious at first when he said "I can do any style you want" I know some photographers only stick to certain styles. And with our wedding being in Sturbridge MA I was expecting a travel fee. But he wanted us to make sure that he was a professional, he keeps things fair all across the board. Thomas is also super quick when it comes to messaging! If I had any questions he would respond rather quickly. He surpassed my expectations with how accommodating him and his team were when working with us, even changing our minds about packages and addon's only a couple weeks out. On the actually day of the wedding, Thomas and his team were truly our hype men! Even when I was getting ready with my bridesmaids he was in on all of our jokes and making us laugh. Sawicki Studios are husband & wife wedding photographers in the Albany NY, Upstate NY Capital Region area since 2007. Our photographic style can be described as modern and unique yet timeless and classic. We use our signature stylized flare sparingly to sprinkle in a little magic into our client's images while remaining authentic to them and their day- which is a mix of candid photojournalism (documentary style) with a good helping of fine art.
