Hi! My name is Mae, and I live in Brooklyn with my girlfriend, our two dogs Apollo and Bia, her cat Gigi and my lizard, Basil! I’ve always been passionate about capturing moments as authentically and magically as possible, and as i’ve settled more into this career path, I love that i’ve landed in a place where I have the privilege to capture and preserve people’s love stories. Weddings and elopements are so distinctly and uniquely human, and it’s truly the biggest honor to be trusted to document them.

Awarded Best of Zola
Mae was an absolute pleasure to work with. I knew I liked her from the very first call. She was thorough and asked good questions to make sure she could capture what we wanted. I love the vintage-inspired look of the photos and video. She communicated when she said she would and I always received a quick response to any questions or messages I had. On the wedding day, I couldn’t imagine anyone who would make it as special as Mae did. She was more than a photographer- she helped me put on myself shoes, hyped up all the little details I stressed months over, and was just such a joy. I cannot recommend Mae enough. I loved all the photos and the video made me cry. Mae is the type of person you want to be friends with after everything is done. Trust me, book Mae!!

Hi! My name is Steve. I do visual storytelling. I’m married with three kids and in my spare time I record music and build things. I've been filming and photographing weddings since 2009. I love travel and getting to know unique couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). He puts an immense amount of care into his work and the photos are truly art that we will cherish forever. If there are specific things you want covered, be sure to share a list. When it comes to capturing the moments that can't be planned, he is on the case!

Eric Turner Photography

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Buffalo Gap, SD

Hey there! I'm Eric, an outdoor-loving, laid-back wedding photographer based in the Midwest who lives for capturing those real, unfiltered moments that make each love story unique. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me hiking trails or discovering new local breweries. My approach blends documentary-style storytelling with a touch of editorial flair—meaning I'll capture both those candid laughs during toasts and those naturally romantic moments during golden hour. The best photos happen when couples feel completely at ease and free to be themselves.

Awarded Best of Zola
I’m someone who usually avoids being in photos and never let anyone, not even my partner, take pictures of me. But working with Eric completely changed that. Quinn and I were blown away by our photos. The entire experience felt effortless, like hanging out with a friend. Eric is incredibly laid-back and easygoing, which made the session so enjoyable. If you’re camera-shy or nervous about having your photo taken, I can’t recommend Eric enough. You won’t regret it.

Roman Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Buffalo Gap, SD

I’m a professionally trained photographer and a graduate of a professional photography program. I spent 10 years as a photojournalist covering news, sports, and political campaigns, learning to anticipate moments, stay calm under pressure, work fast in changing light, and capture real emotion without being obtrusive. That documentary foundation is what I bring to weddings. For 25 years, I’ve photographed weddings as a wedding photojournalist, focused on authentic moments, real interactions, and the in-between details. For portraits, I keep things artistic and natural with gentle direction, and family photos organized.

My wife and I used Roman Photography's services for our wedding in 2015 - we absolutely adore the the photos. Our fun and family were captured beautifully. We loved the work so much, we contacted Roman again ten years later to do our anniversary photos. Roman came out and did another magnificent job. He kept things playful and light (we're both uncomfortable in front of the camera) but still professional. I can't recommend Roman Photography enough!

Most of my guests didn’t take photos throughout the event simply because they saw Cece everywhere and knew she was getting the shot AND SHE WAS. She was so communicative and fun to work with. Whether you’re celebrating in the pines, the prairies, or downtown, my goal is to preserve your day in a way that feels genuine and timeless.

Charity at Beneath the Spruce was a dream to work with. Her communication style was timely, upbeat and responsive, and the quality of her work was excellent - high quality, with great attention to detail, bright and knowledgeable. Hey y’all! My name's Gabriella, an experience-focused wedding photographer based in Philadelphia. I may or may not be a coffee snob 🫣 But most importantly to you - I LOVE photographing couples in love, and I'm an expert at helping couples feel like themselves in front of the camera during some of the most special & important days of their lives.

When Joe and I were looking for our wedding photographer, we wanted someone whose photography used natural light and whose subjects seemed at ease. We also wanted someone who would make sure our awkward selves felt comfortable in front of the camera. Gabriella checked all of our boxes. From our first email communication, Gabriella exuded joy and kindness. These traits matched the essence of her photos as well. She was extremely flexible when our schedules forced us to change our wedding date early on. She went above and beyond to attend an open house at our venue to meet us in person and to gain a sense of where our reception would be. When it came time for our engagement photos, Gabriella immediately put Joe and I at ease in front of the camera by playing great music and incorporating some amazing prompts that resulted in amazing photos. Joe and I cannot recommend Gabriella enough! Not only is she incredibly professional, but she is extremely talented in her vision for photos and getting her couples to ignore the camera and be their authentic selves. We are overjoyed with the final results of our wedding photos and we are so grateful we chose Gabriella to be our photographer!

Danielle Robidoux Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,800
  • Serves Buffalo Gap, SD for additional fees

Your wedding is not a performance. It's the way you look at each other when no one's watching. Your hand finding theirs without thinking. My couples care more about what’s real than what looks good on a grid. They want gorgeous photos but also want them to mean something. The couples I work with have depth. Their stories have weight. They want someone behind the lens who sees them. Not just how they look, but who they are. Presence over performance. That's the closest I can get to naming it.

Awarded Best of Zola
Danielle Robidoux Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. She was very communicative throughout the entire process and helped me create a perfect wedding album that truly came to life with my ideas. The quality of her work was exceptional - she gave us a sneak peek of our photos immediately after the wedding, and worked incredibly fast to capture every moment. Danielle also helped us plan the perfect Boston experience for our wedding day, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We are thrilled with the final photos and would highly recommend Danielle Robidoux Photography to any couple looking for a talented, dedicated, and responsive wedding photographer.

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
I have used many photographers in the past but none came close to the level of expertise that Leah possesses. Over the years, I've done business headshots with her, family photos, and most recently my wedding. Since I have used Leah's services for other things before, I knew what to expect as far as photo-quality goes; the real testimonial comes from how she handled the wedding. Shooting a wedding in another country with a chaotic family is no easy task, even I wouldn't wish it upon myself, but Leah truly knocked it out of the park: she checked in before the event day to go over the schedule, showed up early, got all of the extra shots that I requested, directed people, and just really took charge of the experience. Having her as my wedding photographer was literally one of the only non-stressful decisions I made for that event lol. The photos turned out beautifully, I really can't imagine having anyone else capture one of the most important events of my life. I recommend her wholeheartedly!!

Love by Justina

Based in New England & California, I capture celebrations of love and guide them through a layered visual process—transforming them into tactile keepsakes. My work blends editorial storytelling with an experimental approach, resulting in deeply personal and textured imagery. Alongside creative direction, my experience allows me to be an advisor for timeline shaping so the day moves with intention and room to breathe, building a collaborative storyboard, capturing visual analog film & super 8

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot say enough about Justina—she helped our wedding day run seamlessly! From the start, she was incredibly helpful and communicative, working closely with us to construct the perfect wedding day timeline. She even provided a detailed wedding guidebook and questionnaire, which helped us envision the exact vibe we wanted. On the big day, when we inevitably fell behind schedule, Justina handled it with such grace and adapted quickly. She adjusted effortlessly, stayed flexible, and kept everything moving. Even with less time for photos, she still managed to capture all the shots we had requested. Justina’s collaboration with her brother Anthony, who did our videography, was another highlight. Instead of coordinating between two separate vendors, we were able to meet with both of them together, ensuring that our wedding day vibe was beautifully reflected in both the photos and video. They both were extremely professional and helpful, in addition to providing creative ideas that helped bring our vision to life. What truly sets Justina apart is her talent and eye for candid shots that look and feel so natural. You can tell she cares deeply about the quality of her work. She got us a preview album within a week of the wedding, and my husband and I were so moved by the photos. We still cannot stop looking through them! If you want someone who will make your wedding photo dreams come true and help you feel comfortable and taken care of on our wedding day, look no further than Justina. We couldn’t be happier with our choice!

Photography truly has a full grip on my soul– I love EVERYTHING about capturing special moments to be forever held in time! I consider my style to be way more candid, as I truly adore capturing an authentic experience that is almost tangible to the person viewing the photo. I want the viewer to feel the emotion and as if they were there with us right back in that moment. I love realness of a perfect candid shot…my goal—especially with couples—is to get to the heart of their connection and connect with my couples, as well, to truly make them feel comfortable in front of the lens so that we can get to those authentic magic shots!

Shannon was absolutely perfect! She made our wedding day truly special. She was attentive, professional, clear and concise, and so well prepared for the day. She eased my stress and took a load off my shoulders when I was worrying about all of the small details. Not to mention she saved me with eye drops when I got an eyelash in my eye and looked like I had pink eye 30 minutes before having to walk down the aisle. Not to mention, she had a gallery of nearly 100 photos for us as sneak peeks sent in two weeks, when she had two other weddings on her books within a week of mine. I'm Abby! and I’m hopelessly obsessed with love. There’s nothing like watching a couple look into each other’s eyes and realize they just got married. Being able to capture that moment- and then deliver it to the couple to keep forever- it’s truly the best. I’m here to capture so much more than just memories. I’m here to capture feeling. . The sweet glances that make your fingertips tingle. The look that makes your heart thump in your chest. The loopy butterflies in your stomach as you’re about to walk down the aisle. Those feelings. The photos I produce allow you to hold those feelings in your hand, and keep them safe for eternity.

What do you imagine your wedding to be like? Imagination is a nice gift we have. It helps us building our identities and shaping our individual uniqueness. Imagining carries a degree of anticipation, depending on our past experiences and who we are, of how something that hasn't happened yet is going to be when it actually happens. Like traveling to a place where we've never been before and we take photos of its landscapes and people living there: we tend to capture in those photographs how we had imagined that place. A wedding is a destination in the journey of life, perhaps the most important one.

Sarah was a professional and did amazing work on our wedding day! From the beginning when we first hired Sarah, she was communicative and made sure to get on a call with myself & my mom (my personal wedding coordinator) to confirm what kind of vibe we were looking for. I was a very non-traditional bride of not wanting any getting ready pictures, no pictures of the rings - and more laid back party style photos. Sarah DELIVERED. On the day of, Sarah was super helpful with my dress placement and making sure none of the guys had their phones in the front pockets (I never would have noticed that!). During the ceremony I was not even aware she was there as Sarah was able to take amazing photos while not being intrusive to our guests. Sarah made our favorite day even better - and we thank her for that!!

We are Marc and Kalena, founders of MC Visuals, traveling photographers, and cinematographers based out of Western CT. With over 10 years of experience, documenting life's most beautiful moments has always been something so dear to our hearts as individuals. Aside from his love of filmography, Marc enjoys basketball, playing guitar/bass/drums, landscape photography, cooking, and watching his favorite shows while cuddling with our mini dachshunds Sammie & Brady. As for me... well I have many loves in life, but mostly salsa dancing & my dogs :)

Kalena and her team was probably the easiest vendor to work with! Went above and beyond for us! On our big day she made us feel at ease (we were nervous taking photos as we never had professional photos done before lol) My husband and I would recommend her 110%!

I love capturing the unseen, messy, and perfectly imperfect photos that you never even knew you wanted. I live for those emotive, raw, storytelling moments. I take a documentary approach to my work with a little bit of editorial; My style is candid and my focus is authentic connection through my images. If I were to describe my style; VIBRANT | RICH | BOLD+COLORFUL.

Jeny is AMAZING!! She was easy to talk to and a great communicator. She took the time to get to know us through our engagement shoot and a questionnaire prior to the wedding, and then she was a great presence on our wedding day! Flexible with weather changes, family requests for photos, and patient with us through posing. The photos we’ve received from her are so beautiful and natural and really captured our love and our celebration. We will treasure our wedding day through our photos for years to come, and we will definitely work with her again for any future photographer needs!
