Years ago, I read this poem by Mary Oliver. No longer inspired by my tech start-up desk job, I thought to myself, ‘what is it I would like to spend my life doing?’. I turned to the first job I ever had in high school, being a florist, and began Wild. Over the years, I have discovered such meaning in creating with my hands. My lush, romantic, organic aesthetic is inspired by the natural world; the untamed and ephemeral beauty of flowers. In each of my designs, I look to reflect on the unique allure of the seasons by combining the traditional and more the uncommon together. Floriconvento is the culmination of a love for nature, the textures and nuances of our beautiful Earth, and an interpretation of the emotions we feel, spoken in the language of botanicals. As the creative director and founder, the botanical art we prepare here at Floriconvento comes from the heart and hopes to create intrigue, stimulate the butterflies in your stomach and leave you in awe of the vibrance of the myriad of plants and flowers the world provides us.
