St. Paul’s Church sits on a sloping grass bluff overlooking the waters of Port Gamble Bay. The church, built in 1879, is modeled after a church in the Maine hometown of Port Gamble’s founders. One of the most photographed buildings in the area, the picturesque church steeple houses the original church bell, and wedding couples thrill to the sound of the church bell ringing as they are pronounced married. Hood Canal Vista Pavilion offers breath-taking panoramic views and stunning sunsets over the Hood Canal while surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. In the Pavilion, a floor to ceiling stone fireplace sits opposite abundant windows overlooking lush seasonal gardens . Six sets of French doors lead to a slated patio and an expansive grassy bluff right on the shores of the Hood Canal. A wedding or vow renewal on our boat is performed by the captain of the vessel or you can choose a package with one of our alternative officiants. We offer a variety of services to cater to your beliefs and lifestyle. We can provide a mount for your cell phone to record or live stream your service, and our boat makes an amazing platform for photos. With our simple elopement you will receive 20 high resolution edited photographs taken by the captain. We will take advantage of the boat’s ability to be positioned for scenic photographs, and the bow can be utilized for capturing an intimate moment of the newlywed couple. If you would like additional pictures to remember your special day, upgraded photography packages are offered.
