Yes! We do not require you to hire a professional bartender for your event. We do require you to obtain a banquet permit from the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board. A signed copy will need to be provided to the Northwest Maritime Center, and during your event it will be posted near where the alcohol is stationed.

No, but street parking is plentiful, it is all first come, first served. There are several parking spots in front of our buildings at the end of Water Street, and there is additional street parking within surrounding city blocks. A parking map will be provided to you, which you can then pass on to your guests.

Yes, the interiors of our buildings are accessible. The outside area surface is smooth bricks. We also have an elevator. At this time we do not have automatic door openers, but we are able to prop doors open if needed.

50% of payment or reservation fee is refundable if reservation is cancelled 60 days or more before the event date. No portion of the payment or reservation fee is refundable if reservation is cancelled less than 60 days before the event. If you book with us less than 60 days before your event is to take place, you will be invoiced in full and it will be non-refundable.

All renters must provide written proof of broad form insurance coverage. The cost is between $100 (for private events that do not involve alcohol) to $275 (for business or organizational events that include the serving of alcohol). The certificate of insurance should include broad form of personal injury, liability and property damage coverage in force for the term of the event, with limits of at least $1 million per occurrence and $1 million aggregate, showing the NWMC as an additional named insured for purposes of this event and providing host liquor liability coverage if the event will include the service or consumption of alcohol.
