About this venue

Robinswood House is a beautiful renovation of an 1895 homestead with log house and cabana set in lush landscape. Our two spacious patios and sunken garden offer a flower filled summer wedding site for up to 200 guests. The warm and cozy furnished house, with added cabana, provides an intimate setting for weddings of approximately 60 people. Fireplaces, wood floors, paned windows, sweeping views of Robinswood Park, dancing under the stars, and privacy are just a few of the details you will find.

Our wedding at Robinswood was truly everything we could have hoped for and more. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with the serene atmosphere and natural surroundings created the perfect setting for our celebration. Every detail of the property added to the charm and elegance of the day. We were especially grateful to work with Joanna, the event coordinator. She was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with. She is professional, organized, and always responsive. Joanna consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every question was answered, and every detail was taken care of. Her dedication and support made the planning process smooth and enjoyable, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our wedding day. Thanks to Joanna, our day was truly magical. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough for couples seeking a beautiful setting paired with exceptional service.

Robinswood House was an incredible venue for our wedding. Joanna was AMAZING with communication and timelines, always keeping us updated and ensuring our needs were met. The space itself was absolutely beautiful and intimate, and they accommodated the unexpected rain with ease and flexibility. Joanna and Mike helped ensure that all of our needs were met and were flexible with the last minute weather change, contributing greatly to making our special day perfect. Robinswood House was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Their communication was always efficient and detailed, which we greatly appreciated during the hectic wedding planning process. The venue itself is so unique - a quaint, beautiful property surrounded by lush greenery that made for a magical backdrop. Having our ceremony and reception there truly made our special day feel that much more special. We also want to recognize that as the couple, we had to organize and communicate with all vendors for the day to run smoothly. We were looking for this flexibility and freedom to hire the vendors we wanted. Robinswood House had great recommendations, but at the end of the day communication and execution relied on us and our vendors. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and highly recommend Robinswood House!

At Robinswood House guests may reserve on the first of the month, 18 months ahead of the chosen date. Bellevue residents may reserve the Robinswood House 19 months in advance.

Both the final payment and refundable security deposit are due 90 days prior to the event date.

There is a $300 charge to change the date. Any deposits and payments will be transferred to the new booking. The rebooked event must occur within one calendar year of the original date booked and the new date must be selected within 60 days of the cancellation date.

No, our rental costs are for the facility itself so guests may use it for a ceremony, reception, or both.

Guests are allowed a one hour rehearsal period for their ceremony at no additional cost. Rehearsals at Robinswood House are generally offered Thursdays, 1pm-4pm, and Fridays, 9am-11am. We reserve the right to reschedule rehearsals if a booking should occur in these time slots.

Yes, we always have Seattle Bride staff on site. Costs for staff members are included in the rental fee.

The rental time period includes all of your personal setup and takedown (all Seattle Bride setup will be completed by the start of your rental time). Therefore, if a rental period is 6pm – 12am, then guests and vendors may not come on-site and begin set-up until 6pm. On the other end, the event must be cleaned up and out by 12am.

All rental equipment must be delivered and picked up within the contracted rental period.

Yes, candles are permitted at Seattle Bride events as long as they have something to contain the wax . Please be careful to keep all candles out of the reach of small children. Spilled wax clean up is subject to a cleaning fee.

All amplified sound must cease by 10:00pm.

Events should conclude at least 45 minutes before the end of a given rental period so that there is adequate time for your clean up.

We do all tours Monday – Friday during our business hours of 9am-4pm by appointment. We also have a monthly evening open house.
