They have so much to offer, from gorgeous views to fun activities. The groom and groomsmen all went skeet shooting the morning of before the wedding and they had so much fun. We rented several guest houses and had the Jewel as our bridal suite and it was absolutely stunning. The staff there was very attentive and helpful. My planner, Miranda, was super helpful and my day of coordinator, Elizabeth, was absolutely amazing. She worked so hard to make the day run smoothly and everything was so perfect. Genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day and I can’t wait to go back there on our anniversaries and enjoy all that the resort has to offer. It was worth every dime”

Riverside Farm - Weddings and Events

“Our whole family had a phenomenal experience at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, VT, all as part of our daughter’s wedding in early October 2024. From the day we first toured Riverside Farm in November of 2022, the gorgeous setting and friendly, deeply experienced team gave us a great feeling about RF that continued through to the wedding and to this day. From late 2022 onward, RF gave us excellent advice and support on every aspect of planning the wedding – the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, all of the wedding day festivities, the afterparty and the Sunday departure brunch. We did not have – and did not need – a separate wedding planner. Our RF coordinator, Kaycee Bushee, was a terrific resource throughout. First, she greeted every question or concern with the same calm, pleasant, and constructive approach – never “too busy” to listen carefully and help. Second, when the wedding arrived, Kaycee oversaw everything with a clear idea of what needed to happen and when, plus a gentle hand to move things along invisibly. Her very capable team members were all well-trained and on the same page. RF requires the use of a small group of core vendors, a practice we came to value immensely. RF works exclusively with Vermont Farms Catering, plus one transportation provider and another company that sets up each event. Far from limiting, we found it a great way to create alignment with these critical groups. They went above and beyond to make sure that RF’s clients (and RF itself) were thrilled. A special note on Vermont Farms Catering, owned/operated by Katie Stiles (our primary contact) and Chef Kevin Lasko (Katie’s husband). They are remarkable, having transitioned to Vermont from the intensive Manhattan restaurant scene. Over the years, VFC has established close relationships with all of the best farmers, ranchers and producers within a broad radius. We knew instantly – when we had a “test” tasting in early 2024 – that our guests would be extremely well-served. For help finding other vendors, Kaycee was always there with a range of recommendations and “color” on photographers, florists, linen providers, etc. She knows of, has color on, or has worked directly with most wedding-related vendors throughout Vermont and New England – many of whom have handled events at RF. Beyond these outstanding individuals at RF, Riverside Farm itself is extraordinary. Whether in full sun or any other conditions, Riverside Farm itself truly shines. It is a spectacular physical place – vast and yet intimate at the same time due to the open sightlines. It offers multiple separate venues that together could comfortably host a great wedding in any weather conditions. Plus, RF provides accommodations for the wedding party at RF, and for family/close friends at a lovely 15-room inn, Amee Farm Lodge, just a mile away and under common ownership with RF. As to issues or negatives, we truly didn’t have any. Nothing occurred that caused any level of frustration or concern. It was amazingly smooth given the number of guests (170) and the numerous events from mid-Friday through the departure brunch on Sunday. As noted, this was not by accident or just good luck. Kaycee and the RF team are outstanding both as to assisting in the planning and in the detailed, smooth and crisp execution of the final plan. As is clear from the above, our entire family wholeheartedly and without reservation recommends Riverside Farm for your family’s wedding.”

Red Clover Inn

“Overall, I would highly recommend choosing the Red Clover Inn as your wedding venue. I have included some criticism to take into consideration, but in the end would not have changed my decision to have our wedding there. I have so much more to say, but am limited by the characters limit. THE GOOD PART The wedding weekend was the wedding of our dreams. Our guests were welcomed with open arms by the staff who worked incredibly hard. There were fresh flowers for our VIPs and all throughout the inn as a special touch and they truly went above and beyond to make our family and friends comfortable. We had planned a welcome barbeque that I thought would be very casual, but the staff really elevated it with their décor and attention through the evening. We got to enjoy the outdoor space under the stunning apple tree for our evening and the team put on a bonfire with s'mores for us. The bridal suite is my favorite room of them all. Bright, comfortable, and beautiful. We fit my group of 6 and a beauty team of 4. The day of the wedding was heavy rain all day long. We did have a rain plan in place and moved everything into the barn. The barn is beautifully decorated with ethereal lighted trees and candles throughout. It was an excellent back-up plan. The staff stood outside with umbrellas for the entirety of the ceremony and I don’t know what we would have done without them. We then moved to the cocktail hour and reception which were held in the inn. It was STUNNING. The staff did all the decorating with the items we brought and their own pieces, and our special touches to personalize our wedding, we didn’t have to lift a finger the day of the wedding. I did provide a list of decorations and my expectations for placement to help move things along prior to the event. There was a room for everything. We had dinner in the tavern, and after the meal, the guests used the other rooms, or took a break to their rooms while the tavern was transformed to the dance floor. The flow of the evening was so natural, and I really feel like the venue catered to every guest’s need with a quiet sitting room, a dancing space, and a space in between. At the end of the night, there was no clean up for us, the staff took care of the necessary items that evening, and we picked up the rest of the venue after our guests left the next day. The on-site accommodations perfectly fit our guest count and were comfortable for everyone. We got to appreciate every inch of the Inn and I am so happy we chose it. THE CRITIQUE We visited the inn 3 times through planning, and each visit was very productive, with Venetia’s undivided attention to chat through logistics and details, but we would recommend better communication when guests are not visiting. I did feel like I had to visit to accomplish planning items. Promised follow-up was rarely followed through. I did have to push on this when it began to affect our vendors (ie. Table dimensions for our florist), and ultimately we got the information we needed. Contracted timelines were also not held to through the planning (ie. guest room reservations going out on time). And the final critique was unclear pricing on a few things like the bar, a kitchen usage fee, and catering costs. The Red Clover staff was always responsive to our escalation, but I wish it didn’t require that. I highly recommend if you choose this venue, requesting clear deadlines and pricing stated in the contract.”

“Our February 2025 wedding at The Pitcher Inn was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the entire experience felt effortless, warm, and deeply personal. Jim truly led the service team with exceptional care and professionalism. He made sure every detail ran seamlessly—not just on the wedding day, but throughout our entire two-night stay afterward. Anything we needed was anticipated before we even had to ask, which made the whole experience feel incredibly thoughtful and calm. Sergiu, Shanay, and Jannielle deserve special recognition for keeping the energy light, fun, and engaging. Our guests absolutely loved connecting with them—it felt less like “staff” and more like friends who were genuinely excited to be part of the celebration. Their presence elevated the entire evening. The food was a 12/10. Not a single dish was sent back, which says everything. Chef Jacob and the kitchen team (Marine, Arra, Cem, Ervin, and Stella) went above and beyond, even accommodating a gluten-free request for just one guest with care and attention that never felt like an afterthought. And the cake—crafted by head baker Jordan—was truly breathtaking. It looked like something straight out of Vogue and tasted just as incredible. Our ceremony was very small and intimate at the courthouse up the road, and our cocktail-style celebration at The Pitcher was intentionally simple. But doing “simple” well requires an immense amount of planning—and thanks to Caitlin leading the way, I didn’t stress once. She took everything off my plate, made decisions easy, and even stepped in to make choices for me when needed. Her calm confidence allowed me to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We already can’t wait to do a vow renewal someday—just so we have an excuse to plan another party at The Pitcher Inn. The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm

“The Quechee Inn was absolutely the right choice for us. The staff was so attentive and helpful the entire weekend, from housekeeping, to the servers, bartenders, and everyone in between. They helped with some custom elements of our wedding like a private rehearsal dinner, entering the ceremony on a bike, and supporting guests with allergies in the menu/dinner service. All of our friends and family loved the quaint, cozy rooms. The landscaping was well cared for which helped make for the perfect backdrop to our entire event, including a wonderful outdoor cocktail hour. “I grew up in the area, and I was just amazed at how well the MRB hosts a wedding! The staff is outstanding, once the weekend started they took care of everything and we just got to enjoy the time with our friends and family. “Bridget and Thomas at Farmhouse Flowers were absolutely amazing to work with as the venue, florist, bartenders, and day-of coordinators for our wedding in October 2025. We live in Chicago and planned our wedding from afar, so it was incredible to work with a team that made everything so simple for us. They worked with our other vendors, gave great suggestions for how to structure everything, and really made the whole weekend amazing. Bridget's vision on the florals was incredible; we wanted a colorful wedding, and the flowers really tied everything together. The venue was perfect: it delivered the intimate, Vermont feel we wanted (including a cow named Happy that just so happened to be staying at the farm that weekend) but was also easy to get to and eased any fears about making last-minute changes due to inclement weather. AND Bridget and Thomas cleaned up after the party which made such a difference in our ability to enjoy ourselves. We had an incredible experience and highly recommend.”

“We had the best time at Common Ground Center. This venue is so beautiful with SO many fun opportunities to make your wedding just right. “We had a lot of guests from out of town/state and hosting our weekend & big day in the heart of the village was so phenomenal; people could walk to eateries and shops to design their days and nights without us having to plan too much extra for them or isolating them at a single venue that required a car to go somewhere else. THE STAFF at The Stowe Village Inn were always thinking ahead. Lit a fire during cocktail hour due to the chilly wind (late September wedding) and it ended up being a great accent to the atmosphere and a gathering point for guests- the fire stayed lit for the entire event! They were very accommodating to us as the bride and groom, knew exactly what we wanted when we wanted it (signature drinks upon arrival; effortless flow to dinner with 115 guests & great display for our dessert table). We highly recommend the location, the space (those floor to ceiling glass windows in the dining room CANNOT BE BEAT) we got so many compliments on the venue itself the staff were top notch. Wish we could re-live the day!!!!!!!”

The venue itself was spacious and beautiful, with a stunning grand staircase, opulent rooms and gorgeous grounds providing the ideal backdrop for wedding photos. The estate was incredibly convenient for the wedding party, and the close proximity to nearby amenities made the entire stay seamless. We could not have asked for a more perfect experience. Although their wedding ceremony was held elsewhere, we highly recommend the Lemelson Estate with its spacious interior and extensive well-tended grounds for a wedding ceremony as well as lodging and wedding photography.”
