Our wedding was truly beautiful, and the location is stunning. However, our interactions with the hosts, Jazz and Adam, were disappointing and at times deeply upsetting. Throughout our wedding weekend, we developed a deep appreciation for the gorgeous grounds, comfortable housing, and the seclusion of Whiteface Hollow. The tree we were married under was vibrant, the weather cooperated, and we were truly fortunate that so many of our loved ones were able to attend. However, when we arrived on Thursday for our wedding weekend, several items we had agreed upon during the walkthrough were not ready. For example, our wedding canopy had yet to be constructed and Jazz did not appear to have reviewed our ceremony plan in advance. We understand that issues can arise during wedding preparation; however, we were disappointed that no explanation or acknowledgment was offered when these challenges occurred. More than the logistical issues, our primary frustration was with the overall tone and consistently condescending demeanor of the hosts. Not only did we feel this, but several of our guests also reported feeling unwelcome on the property. After our wedding reception, we gathered around the communal fire pit, which was lovely. We were there later than the 11pm curfew, and people were talking, but not at a volume that disturbed guests staying in the onsite cabins just 100ft away. Jazz and Adam arrived and abruptly instructed us to leave. The tone felt scolding and unnecessarily harsh. We complied immediately and they watched over us as we cleaned up and left. The most upsetting moment came during our departure. As we completed check-out around 1:00 PM, Jazz and Adam pressured us to immediately vacate the property and remove our belongings. They stood nearby while we swept floors and packed our cars, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily supervisory. While we were still loading vehicles, they pulled aside the father of the bride and spoke to him for nearly 30 minutes in a confrontational and critical manner. The interaction was tense, unnecessary, and deeply disrespectful. It was a jarring way to conclude what should have been a joyful and celebratory weekend, and it left us feeling that the hosts were profoundly out of touch with the spirit of hospitality. TL;DR: The venue is gorgeous. The planning process was tolerable, though occasionally frustrating. However, our experience during the wedding weekend itself declined rapidly due to the behavior and demeanor of the hosts. We left with a sour taste in our mouths.

Whiteface Hollow was more than we could have ever dreamed of in a venue, and Jazz and Adam were so incredible. They have created the perfect set up, were so easy to work with and thoughtful in making it a unique experience for us! you have to bring in your own vendors, but we loved getting to make the personal choices on all of this. Jazz and Adam also were so helpful on the day of with coordinating all the logistics, made it an incredible weekend and easy for us to enjoy the day!

Our venue was our first and most important choice when we started planning our wedding. We didn't want to feel rushed and loved that this space was ours for the whole weekend. I can't say enough about the natural beauty and peacefulness of this location. The mountains on the horizon, surrounded by serene forests with no road traffic or noise was blissful. This is a must for comfort and relaxation leading up to your wedding day - in my opinion. All the facilities are kept very clean and ready to use. My bridal party and close family loved staying on site at the cozy farmhouse. Jazz and Adam were amazing hosts and we enjoyed working with them during planning and the weekend of our wedding. Jazz is a 'get things done' kind of person and that is such a huge relief and comfort on your wedding day and when planning. We would pick Whiteface Hollow for our wedding venue over and over again.
