“When I asked my photographer if there was anything I should know about working with Mountain Top Resort, she said, “Oh, you’ve struck gold with them.” At the time, I thought it was just vendors being kind to one another. Now, I know that we really did strike gold. From start to finish, Mountain Top Resort wanted to accommodate us. Before touring, I asked if their catering team would be open to an all-vegetarian wedding. They confirmed that it wouldn’t be a problem and even welcomed us to add additional meal options to their list so that we could incorporate our favorite meals into our day. The team was excited to take on a new task to help make the event feel like us. Leading up to the big day, email correspondence was quick and helpful. We asked a ton of questions, and we were never made to feel like a burden. In the 2 weeks leading up to our wedding, our coordinator Zoey let us know that our day-of coordinator would be Elizabeth. We were both a little nervous to switch from one coordinator to another, but it’s clear the team is just that: a team. Elizabeth picked up all the details and connected with us to make sure she had our vision clear in her mind. Right from the start of the ceremony rehearsal, it was clear she’d studied our choices! She cared about the details, and made sure our day was full of fun, joy, and support. When we forgot to bring our printed thank-you speech to reception, she said, “No problem, email it to me and I’ll print it right now.” When we weren’t able to finish our dinners, she packaged them up and sent them along to the house we were staying at. Elizabeth supported us without ever being overbearing. We both knew that the whole day was handled without us needing to worry about a thing, so we could focus on each other and our guests. West Mountain Inn

“We feel so lucky to have found the West Mountain Inn for our wedding. We first visited about a year before our wedding and immediately felt like it would be the perfect place for our special day. We were greeted by the resident golden retrievers, who followed us on our tour. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll be very happy with this venue! But really, it was Amie, Mary Beth and the rest of the staff who sold us. We immediately felt like they cared about making your day as perfect as possible for us, which was very welcome after touring other venues which felt like they wanted to squeeze every penny from us. After we decided on the venue, Amie was so willing to work with people like us who wanted to plan every detail possible. Amie answered all of my questions and sent additional information like floor plans so I could plan who was assigned to each room as soon as possible. Her communication over email was so incredible helpful! We absolutely loved that we could have so many guests staying at the inn and knew that would be perfect for our winter wedding. Next came our tasting, which was such a fun event. There are two tastings a year, both in March (though I think you could have a private tasting if you need). We loved being able to stay at the inn for a night and meet all of the other couples getting married here within the year. As our wedding was in February, we had to wait a long time between the tasting and trying the food again, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! Chef Jeff did an amazing job with our welcome party, breakfast and lunch the day of the wedding, the absolutely amazing wedding dinner (and late night snacks), and brunch the next morning! We heard that most couples have a hard time eating during their weddings, but we cleaned our plates! Definitely try the butternut squash ravioli, it is incredible! We had our ceremony in the barn, then moved to the bar in the inn for cocktail hour, then dinner in the dining room, and dancing in the living room. They take out the big pieces of living room furniture and move some chairs to the side for dancing. A lot of my family was skeptical about that, but the inn knows what they’re doing!! The dance floor was plenty big for our party of 60 (and I’m sure it could have accommodate larger groups), and the chairs on the sides were a huge hit! It was incredible to be able to sit down for a minute and still feel like you’re a part of the party. I know a lot of our guests enjoyed that as well. We got ready in the Norman Rockwell suite, which worked out well since we had a small bridal party. We also loved getting to see all the rooms in the inn - every room is thought out so well and has little details that are so fun to find! We thought the inn was what made our wedding weekend so magical and cannot wait to visit again on anniversaries or other special occasions. “Today is our three month wedding anniversary and we are still talking about how perfect our wedding was, with a huge part of that due to The Hermitage Inn. The team at The Hermitage made the entire process easy, calming and fun and made the weekend lovely, memorable and perfect. Gina was with us from moment one and was a constant professional who was warm, non-judgemental and available whenever needed. She made sure the day of went on without a hitch and took care of all the big and small details, making sure we didn’t need to worry about anything. I was very specific about wanting to start hair and make up later in the day and Gina adjusted the schedule and made sure I had my morning to myself. During the weekend Mercer, Jan, Sarah, Katia and so many others, along with Gina, made it the best weekend with all of our guests saying the same thing. From the rehearsal dinner, breakfasts in the morning, bar service and, of course, the big event, it was all excellent, personal and thoughtful. Location and venue wise The Hermitage was again, perfect. The property and inn are beautiful, luxurious and luscious. It was incredible to have the entire inn to ourselves with our closest family and friends. The carriage house was a perfect home base to not only get ready in but to have drinks at and to have a little welcome event for just those staying at the inn on Thursday night. I have pictures of my parents and aunts and uncles sitting on the porch telling stories which I will cherish forever. The grounds were beautiful for the wedding and even though the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were at the same venue- each part of the weekend felt unique and intentional as the venue offers so many options. Its been fun to look at the other weddings that have happened since ours on Instagram because not one of them have looked similar. That must be the magic of The Hermitage Inn and Gina, as they truly allow you to bring your own wedding to life. Can’t wait to come back for a weekend and reminisce. My aunts and parents also fell in love with the venue and are planning a trip up the winter.”

This place is a hidden gem. The Mansion – A Dream Venue The historic Art Deco mansion is stunning. Normally, a property this grand would be a museum, roped off with security. But here, they make it clear: this place is yours for the weekend. You feel at home—but in the coolest home imaginable. Your guests can freely explore, adding to an unforgettable experience. Seamless Layout & Guest Comfort The layout is flawless. From the bridal suite, I watched the ceremony setup unfold and saw guests trickling in. Everything is steps away—the farthest guest room is under a two-minute walk to the ceremony. From there, it's a short, scenic stroll to the terrace and tent for the reception, all set against gorgeous marble architecture. One overlooked wedding detail? Bathrooms. The mansion has elegant restrooms nearby, and with guests staying on-site, they could use their rooms—so no bathroom lines! Need to grab a jacket, touch up makeup, or charge your phone? You can do so without missing a thing. If you have a dog, it's easy to check on them—or even bring them back to the dance floor (our guests did!). Instead, they discreetly rearranged seating, added food, and learned my guest’s name—all without anyone noticing. Seamless. “Everyone at Holiday Inn was amazing. Everything I wanted for my wedding was done and was perfect. The decor was amazing, the food was great, and the layout of the room was great. All my guests were able to see the dance floor from their seats. There was also a discount for guests staying at the hotel. I had many complements from my guests about the reception as well. The price was low considering the location is in downtown Saratoga Springs. The hotel has a staircase in the back that leads to Congress Park for beautiful pictures. It is also within walking distance to many churches along Broadway. My night was amazing! Thanks to all at the Holiday Inn.”

Having all the guests and wedding day events in one building made the day seamless. We chose the Gold Room and Queen’s Ballroom because we loved the architecture of the rooms and the chandeliers. The space is so beautiful that you can be minimal on decor. Our wedding coordinator, Kamay, was extremely helpful and always responsive to my numerous emails. The food was fantastic, and we’ve received rave reviews from our guests on the food, too. We highly recommend this venue and are so happy with how our special day turned out!”

Fort William Henry Hotel

“When we first toured the Carriage House as a potential venue, it was a snowy January day (the opposite of the June wedding day we were touring for) but we could see the vision of space and fell in love with it. Keilana and Dawn were so easy to work with from the initial tour all the way through to picking up our stuff the day after the wedding. They were always available to answer any of our questions, no matter how small. They broke down the planning into parts, so it never felt overwhelming and they were always very clear about what information they needed and when. From the tasting day where we got to imagine how the space would be set up for our wedding, to the final walk through where we went through every detail of the wedding day, Keilana and Dawn were professional and enthusiastic, and we knew that our wedding was in good hands. Having the reception at the Carriage House meant many of our out of state guests were staying at the hotel which made the weekend even more fun, continuously running into people we knew throughout the weekend! Our guests raved about the beautiful cocktail hour outside, the lake views from the reception space, the delicious food, and that even with 200 people there was never a line at the bar when guests went to get a drink! The entire reception ran so smoothly, and we had an amazing time. We could not have picked a better location for our wedding reception, and we would highly recommend the Carriage House at Fort William Henry to other couples!! Thank you, Keilana and Dawn! “Marcia and her team at the Marriott helped make our day amazing! She was very patient with us and our multiple changes along the way. The chef, bartenders, servers, and everyone in between did a lovely job at both our welcome event and our reception. While some communication was difficult along the way, Marcia really prioritized us in the couple weeks leading up to the wedding. If we could redo, we would have our wedding here again.”

“We had our wedding at the Hotel Northampton on New Year’s Eve (12/31/24), and it truly could not have been more unforgettable. From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely flawless. My wife, our families, and all of our friends had an amazing time, and we are still hearing from guests about how beautiful and fun the night was. The hotel itself is elegant, timeless, and full of charm. It provided the perfect backdrop for a romantic winter wedding, and having everything under one roof made it incredibly convenient for us and our guests. A huge shoutout to the entire staff, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. In particular, Ruby Meng was outstanding—her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care made the planning process seamless and stress-free. The Prospect team thoughtfully assigned units with consideration for our clients' behaviors, establishing "cabin zones" for the night owls and early birds. The contemporary cabin design, native-landscaped grounds, and shared spaces are understated elegance steeped with sustainable values. The wellness-centered amenities are indeed rejuvenating! The saunas, heated outdoor pool, lake activities and tennis court, provided natural hang time and happenings without leaving campus. Plus, the coffee program is top-notch and the cocktails are refreshingly delicious, there's a succinct, curated wine program featuring boutique, organic and natural wines.”

“It is hard to put into words just how perfect our choice of venue was for our June 6, 2026 wedding. The Inn on Boltwood is a beautiful property with an equally wonderful team behind its events. The wedding team, led by Catherine, gave us a flawless wedding day that fully captured our personal vision. From last-minute adjustments to nearly two years of planning, the team was friendly, professional, dedicated, and easy to work with every step of the way. We had a beautiful garden ceremony, a lawn cocktail hour, a magical evening under the tent, and Friday night welcome drinks. Throughout the weekend, the team made everything feel effortless. Decor was seamlessly moved from location to location, umbrellas appeared at the tent entrance during a brief rain shower, and food and beverages seemed to magically appear exactly when needed as the bride and groom. In addition to our welcome drinks and wedding celebration, many members of our wedding party and guests stayed onsite at the inn. Everyone had a wonderful experience and appreciated the convenience of being able to walk directly to and from the events. This was especially valuable for our grandparents, who could come and go comfortably as they pleased. For anyone looking for a flawless wedding in a gorgeous setting that is easily accessible for guests traveling from surrounding states or flying in, we highly recommend the Inn on Boltwood and its incredible team. And finally... the food! From the appetizers and getting-ready platters to the wedding dinner itself, I have never attended a wedding where the food was such a standout.
