“From our first conversation with Emily and Mike at Elm and Arbor, we knew we'd found the right venue. They're easy to talk to and genuinely want to remove the stress from planning, which made the whole process feel smooth and straightforward. Their accommodating approach meant they worked with us on every detail without making us feel rushed or pressured. We loved that they offered us discounted pricing as one of their first couples. We're super excited to be able to still have some things on our big day, like a first dance, even if it's an elopement! While we haven't had our celebration yet, we're counting down the days!!”

“The wedding coordinators were the absolute best to work with! They were so professional and quick to respond with emails. We were very happy to have them the day of the wedding as they made everything run so smoothly! During cocktail hour Julie helped set up a small private table with appetizers for just the two of us. It was so nice to spend a few minutes as a newly married couple before making our entrance to the reception. The food was amazing, and both the ceremony and reception spaces were decorated better than I could’ve imagined. The cake was done by Debbie Coye and part of our package - not only was it gorgeous but it was also delicious! The staff were all professional and made sure we had everything that we needed. We are so glad we had our wedding at the Holiday Inn, it was truly the best day of our lives!”

“Going into planning our wedding we knew that we wanted a primarily outdoor venue that allowed us to have a full weekend event from Friday through Sunday morning. After looking at several throughout the CT, MA, and VT area and not finding one we loved, we stumbled on West Mountain Inn and immediately knew it was perfect. The venue itself is beautiful from the quintessentially New England bed and breakfast, to the flower garden behind the ceremony site, to the incredible mountains in the background. The venue in late summer was simply stunning. While we were lucky enough to have perfect weather allowing for a fully outdoor experience (welcome party, ceremony & cocktail hour, and farewell breakfast were all outside!) West Mountain offered enough indoor locations that if there had been inclement weather, we wouldn’t be confined to only one space, which was a concern we had with other venues we toured. All the food we had during our weekend was incredible, from the buffet dinner and hors d’oeuvres, the breakfasts Saturday and Sunday morning, and the woodfired oven pizzas during our welcome party (guests absolutely loved the scallion street corn pie!!). On top of the inn, property, and food being amazing, West Mountain Inn is such an excellent wedding venue because of Amie, the inn owner and coordinator. Amie clearly loves helping people make their dream weddings come true. She serves as the day of coordinator and point of contact for your vendors, and makes it incredibly easy and straightforward to make all of the decisions you need to make the day come true. Amie was incredibly responsive, professional, patient, kind, and accommodating to our questions and asks. She and the Head Chef helped us plan a menu that catered to multiple types of allergies, as well as working with the bar to do our own off menu signature cocktails and a mocktail for the reception. Amie’s two incredibly well behaved golden retrievers, Milo and Pepper, also joined and were a hit with kids and adults alike! Something unadvertised but amazing about West Mountain was the collection of decorations and items from previous weddings (think chalkboards, table numbers, card boxes, table seating displays, etc.) that Amie has available for her couples to use in their own weddings which reduced our DIY requirements to basically nothing. The only thing we rented was drapes in the barn but other than that everything was already provided. One of the best parts of having our wedding at West Mountain Inn is that it’s now a special, meaningful place that we’re able to return to over the coming years. West Mountain Inn was absolutely the best decision we made in our wedding planning journey and we would recommend it to anyone and everyone!”

“If you’re dreaming of a fairytale wedding surrounded by the natural beauty of Vermont, look no further than The Hermitage Inn in Dover. My October wedding at this stunning venue was nothing short of magical, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting to say “I do.” From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the picturesque views that surrounded the property. The fall foliage in full bloom painted the landscape with rich reds, oranges, and yellows, creating an unforgettable backdrop for our ceremony. The crisp autumn air and the golden light of an October afternoon made everything feel like a dream come true. The Hermitage Inn itself is a hidden gem—an elegant, rustic retreat that blends charming alpine décor with luxury. We held our ceremony outside, just steps from the Inn, where the breathtaking mountain views were the perfect frame for our vows. The staff were attentive, professional, and incredibly kind, ensuring everything ran smoothly from the first moment we arrived until the very end of our celebration. The reception in the Inn’s cozy yet spacious dining room was equally enchanting. The wood beams, warm lighting, and gorgeous floral arrangements created an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely divine—each dish felt thoughtfully prepared, showcasing Vermont’s freshest ingredients. Our guests are raving about the seasonal dishes, especially the artichoke beignets! What really stood out was the attention to detail. The team at The Hermitage went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of the day was flawless. From coordinating the timeline to recommending the best local vendors, they made the entire planning process feel effortless. They truly made our wedding day a reflection of our personal style and vision. Whether you're looking for an outdoor ceremony with breathtaking views, an intimate indoor reception with top-notch service, or simply a venue that offers the best of Vermont’s fall charm, The Hermitage Inn is the perfect choice. “FRE exceeded our expectations for a wedding venue. We got married on a Saturday in September 2025. Had around 100 guests. We felt like the staff carried out the day seamlessly. They were so accommodating and responsive. The food and drinks were excellent. They treated our guests so well—to the point where many people (like I’m talking 15 people separately) said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. The hotel rooms were lovely and it was soooo amazing to have people able to stay onsite. We had an after party downstairs in their restaurant and people were raving about how fun it was. We were worried it wouldn’t be worth it to invest in a big wedding, but we were wrong! It was awesome and I have literally nothing but rave reviews for FRE.”

“We could not have asked for a more beautiful, inclusive, and accessible venue! Knowing that the vast majority of our guests would have to fly in to our wedding, no matter where we had it, it was important to us that we had a venue we could book for the whole weekend. Combined with all of the amenities Wylder offers, it was a no-brainer. The wedding weekend would not have gone as smoothly as it did without the incredible staff, particularly Andrea and Faith. From the moment of our first phone call until we were leaving the farewell brunch, they took care of us every step of the way. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, and Wylder truly felt like our home for the weekend. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful venue (with a lovely rain/cold weather location, which we ended up using), incredible food, and great service!”

“My husband and I got married at Hotel Lilien last September and the entire weekend exceeded our wildest expectations. Coordinating with Daniel and Jules was excellent throughout the entire process and they responded timely with answers, solutions, and suggestions. The staff was very flexible and was able to adapt to decisions that were made the week before based on weather. Throughout our entire stay they were extremely attentive and helpful with all requests, specifically Chris, Jason, Anthony, and Kiera. They really made our weekend perfect. Each room was pristine when we arrived and every single attendee mentioned how much they loved the accommodations. The food was also amazing, people couldn’t stop talking about the grilled cheese, tomato soup, and charcuterie/burrata boards. Looking back on our wedding as a whole, choosing Hotel Lilien was the perfect decision and we are so grateful for their entire staff making the whole experience so magical. The hotel has so much history and the original owner’s daughter, Meta Lilienthal, has a personal memoir called Dear Remembered World and the book describes her life in both Manhattan and Upstate back in the 1890s. While the property is now a hotel, the new owners have managed to expertly craft an environment that makes you feel right at home. Couldn’t recommend more!”

“We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! “We stayed here for our entire wedding weekend, and we had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party here as well. For starters, Morgan is amazing. She was so flexible, easy to work with, and so organized. She is so attuned to the finer details and was always available to answer any questions. She was reliable, and I could feel her genuine sense of excitement for us when she was helping us plan. Nothing felt stressful while planning with Morgan, and she made our experience amazing. The welcome party was so much fun, and they hit the nail on the head. The food was spectacular. Kudos to the Reluctant Panther chef, as everything was absolutely mouthwatering. From the passed hors d'oeuvres to the main meal, it was some of the best food I've ever had. The inn itself is so beautiful. Each room has its own sense of self and such striking character. You really feel like you're in a Vermont inn rather than a commercial hotel. The bathroom in every single room is ginormous, with so much space. And don't even get me started on the breakfast picnic baskets! My friends and I couldn't get over how cute they were. Such a special touch for them to be delivered to each room as well. We love it here and can't wait to visit in the future! I would highly recommend staying here or planning any event here.”

But here, they make it clear: this place is yours for the weekend. You feel at home—but in the coolest home imaginable. Your guests can freely explore, adding to an unforgettable experience. Seamless Layout & Guest Comfort The layout is flawless. From the bridal suite, I watched the ceremony setup unfold and saw guests trickling in. Everything is steps away—the farthest guest room is under a two-minute walk to the ceremony. From there, it's a short, scenic stroll to the terrace and tent for the reception, all set against gorgeous marble architecture. One overlooked wedding detail? Bathrooms. The mansion has elegant restrooms nearby, and with guests staying on-site, they could use their rooms—so no bathroom lines! Need to grab a jacket, touch up makeup, or charge your phone? You can do so without missing a thing. If you have a dog, it's easy to check on them—or even bring them back to the dance floor (our guests did!). Incredible Food Choosing a caterer can be nerve-wracking, but the Wilburton’s food is exceptional. If you tried every caterer in the country, this would still be #1. Fresh, local, and plentiful—they do not skimp. The hardest part was picking appetizers and entrées because we loved them all! Their wedding tasting event is genius. It’s set up like a real wedding—cocktail hour with appetizers, a seated dinner with entrée samples, and drinks to try. You also meet other couples, swap planning tips, and experience the top-notch service firsthand. World-Class Service & Staff The Wilburton’s team is extraordinary—polished, professional, and genuinely invested in your day. A perfect example: an hour before the tasting event, I realized I forgot to RSVP for my plus one. I let a waiter know, expecting chaos. Instead, they discreetly rearranged seating, added food, and learned my guest’s name—all without anyone noticing. Seamless. The Heart of the Wilburton: The People Beyond the breathtaking venue and amazing food, the best part of the Wilburton is the people. They are transparent, organized, and truly want you to have the best day of your life. A special shoutout to Meesha, who made wedding planning effortless. She was incredibly responsive, unbelievably organized, and guided us through everything. I had zero worries on my wedding day because I knew Meesha had it handled. That level of trust is priceless. Final Thoughts I don’t know any other brides who felt this relaxed and confident on their wedding day. That alone is a reason to book the Wilburton. If you’re considering it—DO IT. You won’t find a more stunning, welcoming, or well-run venue anywhere.”

“This venue is beautiful and it’s great that you can do the ceremony and reception at this location. The event coordinator was very quick to respond to my emails and was very gracious and made a few accommodations for us. It can be pricey to get married here because they will charge you for all of the little add ons. There was miscommunication when it came to booking rooms at the hotel but they are quick to try to make things right!”

“Our wedding weekend at Black Walnut Farm was nothing short of extraordinary. I had always dreamed of more than just a single day or a few hours of celebration. I imagined a full weekend surrounded by our favorite people, celebrating a love I had hoped for my entire life. Black Walnut Farm made that dream a reality in the most magical way. My fiancé and I got engaged in June 2024 and waited until August to begin planning so we could savor being engaged. Black Walnut Farm was our first venue visit. During their open house, we explored the property while enjoying signature cocktails and bites, and we immediately felt at home meeting Jim. His warmth, charisma, and genuine spirit set the tone for everything that followed. The estate is breathtaking. Acres of beauty, an enchanting forest, whimsical gardens, and a farmhouse filled with stunning, eclectic antiques. Within minutes, we knew our search was over. As we left, Jim smiled, saying he could tell we had found “the one.” The planning process was seamless and stress-free. As someone who goes with the flow, I was amazed by how organized and supportive the team was. Timelines, documents, and communication were clear and thoughtful. Sarah, co-owner and Jim’s partner, made the experience effortless. While the venue is largely a la carte, Sarah provides a curated list of trusted vendors so you never feel lost. Together, Sarah and Jim are an unmatched team. We chose the weekend package, allowing us and six guests to stay in the farmhouse from Thursday through Monday. Walking in felt like stepping into a dream. We were greeted with a handwritten card, a charcuterie board, and champagne. Fresh banana bread, muffins, and cookies were displayed, the refrigerator stocked with snacks, drinks, and s’mores essentials, and a bar cart held homemade old fashioneds. Every room included robes and fresh water by the bedside, and fireplaces were ready with stacked firewood. Our honeymoon suite was spacious and cozy, with its own fireplace, sitting area, and clawfoot tub. Black Walnut Farm even created a custom flag with our names and named a tree in our honor, a meaningful and unforgettable touch. On Friday evening, we hosted our rehearsal dinner for fifty-five guests in the barn, which perfectly blends rustic elegance with antique details and warmth. The staff’s pride and attention to detail were evident, and Jim, Sarah, or Lindsey were always nearby to ensure everything ran smoothly. After dinner, my bridesmaids and I returned to the farmhouse for a cozy night by the fire watching Father of the Bride. Our wedding day was pure magic. We got ready together in a sun-filled room, sharing laughter and happy tears. We exchanged vows in the forest, a fairytale setting. The celebration continued in the barn with cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and dessert. Guests loved the barn loft, complete with a photo booth and a phone for leaving messages. Although the weather prevented our planned bonfire hour, Sarah and Jim graciously extended our time in the barn, ensuring the night remained just as special. This weekend was the best experience of our lives. Our friends and family still talk about how incredible it was. We are endlessly grateful to Sarah, Jim, Miss Lily, and the entire Black Walnut Farm team for creating a wedding weekend we will cherish forever.”

“We highly recommend the Queensbury Hotel as a wedding venue! What drew us to this venue was its history, architecture, location (right in downtown Glens Falls), newly remodeled guest rooms, and convenience for our guests. Having all the guests and wedding day events in one building made the day seamless. We chose the Gold Room and Queen’s Ballroom because we loved the architecture of the rooms and the chandeliers. From our memorable destination weekend weddings with up to 220 Guests to small, intimate affairs, Interlaken offers impeccable service, seasonally inspired farm-to-table cuisine, a gorgeous lakeside ceremony site, and a garden wedding reception. We are located on 30 acres of manicured lawns and traditional New England style gardens, nestled in between two shimmering lakes. Guests staying with us enjoy use of the many property amenities. We host only one wedding per day to insure that our focus is entirely on you.

“We can’t say enough good things about Interlaken. During early wedding planning, we were initially torn between two venues, and what made us choose Interlaken was how incredibly responsive and friendly everyone we interacted with here was. Robyn gave us the tour of the venue and answered our million questions while we were in the decision phase (she was a joy to work with), and Susan was our assigned planner after we booked. Susan was super organized and on top of everything, and made sure we were feeling comfortable and prepared in the months leading up to the wedding. She was very accommodating, listening to our vision and making basically all of it a reality. She handled the logistics for all our events from rehearsal dinner to after party, and absolutely every part went flawlessly. The maître d’ and other support staff were equally incredible, going out of their way to make sure we were brought drinks and fed and happy the whole night. The venue itself is gorgeous, and it was a huge bonus to have all our guests able to stay on-site and able to entertain themselves with tennis and swimming and other included activities. The lake itself is so beautiful, and it made for a fairytale-like backdrop for the ceremony. All in all, Interlaken made our perfect wedding a reality, and we are so grateful we decided to go with them.”
