He came with several cameras and valued all of our ideas, and when we became stumped he offered ideas for us to try as well. He was very professional, kind, caring, and always on top of the game taking photos. Towards the end of our night he started to put the camera away and brought it back out to catch a few final moments. He was on top of responding to all questions before, during, and after. He took photos of me and my husband before the ceremony and got some wonderful shots (it was a 95 outside wedding so this was much appreciated because we all had some sweat on our faces). “From the very beginning, Alie and Ritchie have been amazing! We started off with an engagement shoot that really impressed upon us their desire to know us, our style, and what we envisioned for our big day. They were on top of their communication with us, where we felt like they were going out of their way to keep us updated and engaged. On the day of our wedding, they arrived promptly and did their own thing without disrupting us. Sometimes I even forgot that they were there! One of the things I really appreciated about Alie & Ritchie is that they did a fantastic job keeping to the schedule we had gone over with them. After the wedding, Alie & Ritchie surprised us with a sneak peek a few days later, and the photos were breathtaking. Once we received our gallery, we saw that they did a PHENOMENAL job bringing out the beautiful colors in all of our pictures. To this day, we look back at them and feel so grateful that our vision came to life. Alie & Ritchie truly went above and beyond for us. “We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). He puts an immense amount of care into his work and the photos are truly art that we will cherish forever. If there are specific things you want covered, be sure to share a list. When it comes to capturing the moments that can't be planned, he is on the case!”
