“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

He took into consideration some of our favorite artists and curated a wonderful playlist for our wedding day (i.e., ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). We had quite a unique request being “early 2000s nostalgia” for the reception and he delivered! During couples portraits before the ceremony, I remember telling people how much I enjoyed the music he was playing. Additionally, during our reception in the outdoor tent, everyone was out of their seat and on the dance floor. As someone who considers themselves a homebody, he really brought me and my (now) husband out of our shells and created such a fun energy. “Jason was great throughout the whole process! He was great at communicating and making sure he had all of the songs that we wanted (and didn’t) throughout the night. He also did a great job at adjusting the songs played based off of what our guests responded well to so people were on the dance floor all the time which I loved!! He collected a bunch of photos from us and displayed them on a screen that’s built into his DJ booth (I don’t know what it’s called) and many guests came up to us to specifically tell us that they loved seeing our pictures of us and our relationship as well as pics of us growing up. It’s something I don’t even think of doing, but Jason offered and I’m so glad he did! He also set up a photo booth that was very popular. He was great at making sure that things that I needed were just taken care of and went out of his way to coordinate with my wedding planner and kept me in the loop which I appreciated. We had a ton of kids at our wedding and he did a great job at playing clean (and popular) music that wasn’t raunchy. If I have any other events I’ll be sure to book Jason and I’d highly recommend him to any of my friends and family!”

“Highly recommend Speech Less Music! From the first interaction, Scott and Mari were professional, yet personable and willing to adapt to any way we wanted to music to happen for our daughter’s wedding reception in Virginia. We used a pop strings duo for the cocktail hour and they continued during dinner then we pivoted to a New Orleans second line led by a sax player followed by a fun hybrid DJ dance party. Everyone had the best time!”

“This is the 4th time over the years we have had Brian do a party for us. He seems to cover all music genres beautifully. For one of our events we hired Brian just to play piano, he was wonderful. The other events he brought a band, which was great! He also did my niece's wedding last year, he brought a band and the dance floor was full! He does make the party come alive! I would definitely recommend Brian. Great attitude and really wants everyone to enjoy themselves.”
