“We were so pleased with our amazing experience at Fern Hill Barn!! Every member of the team was consistently working throughout the day to make things run smoothly and help take any pressure or stress off us as the bride and groom. We experienced a very aggressive pop up thunderstorm right as our outdoor ceremony was supposed to take place, and I have never seen a team take action like they did. Carly kept me posted on the forecast and when we were forced to move inside, the team was at attention, putting up the sides of the tent, moving florals, and keeping everything pristine for the tent ceremony. Joanne, our banquet captain, helped me with any and everything that day - from adjusting my veil and dress, to calming my nerves about the storm, and even making sure we had our first congratulatory drinks once we were married. I cannot thank everyone enough, and we will surely be recommending our venue for years to come. All our guests were so pleased and so complimentary of the food, the cake, the friendliness of all staff, and the overall atmosphere. THANK YOU FERN HILL BARN TEAM!!”

“My wife & I had the privilege to get married surrounded by our friends & family at the beautiful Montague Retreat Center in June of 2024. There’s a seemingly endless list of what drew us to MRC, but some key features to highlight: - Incredibly beautiful indoor & outdoor spaces - Comfortable, spacious, and accessible on-site lodging options - Flexible weekend buyout, enabling us to bring all of our ideas to life without much restriction or hurdles - Wheelhouse Catering: some of the best wedding food we’ve ever tasted in our lives - All of Montague staff, especially Jason Jason deserves his own dedicated review, but from the planning stages all the way through until the end of our weekend, Jason made himself available and ready to help. Jason referred several our vendors that made our day go off without a hitch, all of whom brought creative and personal touches that made our day so special. He consistently went above and beyond day of as well, from catching decorations that needed to be put out, to being hands-on assisting guests that needed extra help, and facilitating vendors to ensure everything was in its right place. His knowledge and general presence brought a calming energy that really helped us feel at home at MRC. For our wedding weekend (170 guests), we really took advantage of all we could at MRC. We observed first hand and heard from guests after our wedding that they felt they had plenty of space to enjoy themselves comfortably through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. With the full weekend rented, we used every square inch that the venue offered: - Friday: Portable Brick Oven Pizza in front of the Great Hall - Saturday AM: family provided breakfast buffet near the dining tent - Ceremony: Outdoor up on the ceremony ring - Cocktail Hour: Custom Poetry and plenty of activities all around the barn - Reception: Live band with stage lighting & sound; DJ later in the evening - Saturday Night: Late night fire pit & snacks for the wedding party - Sunday AM: Bagel sandwiches from Tandem Bagel in the lower level of the barn We can’t stress enough how perfect our weekend was at MRC. Montague Retreat Center will always hold a special place in our hearts, as it left a lasting impact on not only us, but our friends and family as well. At the end of our wedding weekend, many of our family members suggested that we rent out the space for a night every few years for a recurring big family bash. We may have to do just that!”

“My husband and I loved our experience at Hidden Hills. First and foremost, they were extremely accommodating with my allergy and the allergy of our guests, my mom’s wheelchair, and allowing us to have a dog at the venue as our ring bearer. Second, the venue was beautiful. The food delicious. And service incredible. The price was exactly what we were looking for: AFFORDABLE. But the best part was Haley. She made wedding planning with the venue easy, uncomplicated, and was very open to our ideas and what we wanted for our big day.”

“We honestly could not have asked for a better venue than Harrington Farm for our wedding. From the very beginning, the entire team was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. A huge shoutout to Lauryn and Jess, who were truly amazing to work with. They made the whole process feel easy and were always there to guide us, answer questions, and make sure everything stayed on track. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. It is such a unique space, and so many of our guests told us they had never seen a wedding venue like it before. It really made the entire experience feel special and memorable. We had a Hindu ceremony, and the team was incredibly accommodating of all our traditions and requirements. They also helped so much with coordinating everything on the day, which allowed us to be fully present and actually enjoy each moment. One of the most special parts for us was the food. We really wanted Indian food, and the chef took the time to sit down with us, understand our recipes, ingredients, and preferences. They went above and beyond and absolutely delivered. The food turned out amazing and our guests are still talking about it. Everything was so well organized, clean, and thoughtfully put together. The drinks were great, and the coffee bar was such a fun addition that everyone loved. The fireplaces and outdoor patio added such a cozy and beautiful vibe, especially for our winter wedding. It created the perfect space for guests to relax and enjoy the evening. The connected farmhouse was also such a huge plus. It is beautiful and made everything so convenient, especially with the winter weather. Overall, we felt so taken care of throughout the entire process. This is not just a beautiful venue, but a team that truly cares about making your day perfect. We would recommend Harrington Farm to anyone in a heartbeat.”

“If you’re looking for classic New England inn charm that feels like a cross between a Nancy Meyers movie and Gilmore Girls, look no further. When we first started wedding planning, the sheer volume of decisions—from transportation to catering—felt completely overwhelming. The Inn on Boltwood made our lives so much easier; they truly are the perfect venue. We loved that the Inn is essentially an all-inclusive venue. Between the on-site catering, rehearsal space, coordination support, and the ability to stay at the property, it eliminated the stress of managing a dozen different vendors and travel logistics. From our very first viewing, we knew it was the place for us. Our wedding coordinator, Catherine, could not have been a better human to work with. She never faltered; she is kind, creative, and a true expert at running a wedding. The food was UNREAL. Our guests are still raving about it, and the variety was fantastic. As a vegetarian bride, it was such a relief to have high-quality, delicious meal options rather than feeling like an afterthought pulled from the freezer. We hosted our rehearsal dinner on the rooftop terrace, which provided a beautiful, elevated backdrop for our family to kick off the weekend. We also loved that the Inn offers great hybrid solutions for weather. While we were fortunate enough to have a perfect day for an outdoor ceremony and tented reception, it gave us such peace of mind knowing there were seamless indoor options available if it had rained or become too hot. The Inn also gives full access for photos, and there are so many stunning locations for picture-perfect moments throughout the property! The space feels so intimate that it felt like we were hosting the wedding at our own home. Beyond the venue itself, the location in Amherst gave our guests wonderful opportunities to explore—the Saturday morning farmers market was a massive hit! With other hotel options just five minutes away and plenty of parking, it was incredibly convenient for everyone.”

“Where do I begin? The Chocksett was our second or third venue me and my wife toured, and we were impressed from the moment we pulled into the parking lot. We met with Tianna, who gave us a tour; from each get ready room, to the bridal suite, the ballroom, the outdoor ceremony space, and the restaurant downstairs. We fell in love with everything about it. When we sat down with Tianna after the tour, we were blown away by everything that was included and were pleasantly surprised by the cost (The previous venues we toured were significantly out of our budget). Tianna takes the time and truly cares and asks every little detail, details that we didn't even think of. From the moment we signed our contract with the Chocksett, Tianna made every single step 100% stress free for us - and if you're planning a wedding, you know how stressful the planning is! She handled everything. Every meeting with her was so easy, so stress free, fun, and she is such a genuine person. Fast forward to wedding day and I don't think we ever saw her stop moving. She wanted to make sure everything went perfect and smooth for us and that we didn't have to worry about a single thing. It ended up raining during our ceremony, and without any hesitation, let us know she was already working on moving everything to the indoor ceremony space and not to worry. She set up all of our decorations we provided, set up every place setting exactly how we wanted, the welcome sign and seating chart, the list goes on. I now see that when every bride said that the day flies by, that's an understatement. The entire day flew by from when we got there to get ready, to the after party. The day was everything we dreamed it would have been and more. Thank you to everybody at the Chocksett, especially Tianna. If you're looking for a venue, I promise, you don't need to look any further. Book at the Chocksett and work with Tianna. I promise you'll be just as impressed as we were. I wish we could go back and do it all over again. We cannot possibly thank you enough.”

“We held our wedding at Retreat Farm and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, this venue exceeded our expectations in every way. Our weekend began with a field day celebration the day before the wedding. Farmhouse Square was perfect for this, and the staff went above and beyond to help us organize food stations and arrange picnic tables. The staff made themselves available for the entire day and were friendly to our guests which helped set the tone for the entire weekend. Working with Samantha, the venue coordinator, made the planning process so much easier. She was incredibly communicative and patiently answered about a million questions from us. We were one of their Retreat Farm’s first weddings, so there were a few minor administrative hiccups along the way, but I have complete confidence these will be smoothed out for future couples. Samantha’s responsiveness and helpfulness were invaluable. On our wedding day, rain was in the forecast which was very stressful for us leading up to the ceremony which was slated to be held outdoors. We prepared to hold the ceremony inside the barn, which would have been beautiful in its own right, but then, the rain ended up clearing at the last second. Thankfully, the incredible staff had already set up the chairs and arch and managed to move everything back outside within half an hour (literally wiping down every single chair as fast as they could). We ended up with the most breathtaking outdoor ceremony as the clouds parted and the sun literally shone down on us. It was pure magic, and the staff's quick work made it possible. Additionally, the venue's beautiful outdoor spaces provided awesome backdrops for photos so we’re glad we were able to take advantage of them. One of the most unique and memorable aspects of Retreat Farm is the farm animals. We surprised our guests with a surprise donkey ring bearer (that the barn manager, Felipe, took the time to practice walking the aisle with), and during cocktail hour, the open barn allowed guests to interact closely with all the animals. This was hands-down one of the highlights that our guests are still talking about—the pictures that we saw everyone take were priceless. Every single person who works at Retreat Farm was exceptionally kind and professional. From the bartenders who handled the bar service beautifully (and even accommodated our requests for specific drinks on the menu) to the staff directing guests and everyone in between—the team made us feel so well taken care of. It's worth noting that this is more of a DIY venue where you bring your own decorations and coordinate most vendors. We loved this because it allowed us to truly make the wedding our own and put our personal stamp on every detail but recognize that this may not be for everyone. We highly recommend Retreat Farm for couples looking for a unique, beautiful, and flexible venue with character, charm, and the most wonderful staff (and also animals!)”

“The moment my husband and I stepped into Union Station, we instantly knew this was the perfect venue for our wedding. The venue’s unique history and aesthetic appeal, coupled with flawless service and incredibly friendly staff, set the stage for an unforgettable day. The Event Coordinator, Neil Gadbois, was the orchestrator of our dream wedding, ensuring everything ran smoothly and with utmost calmness. Neil was transparent about the offerings within each package, never feeling pushy or like a salesperson trying to close a deal. His easygoing and responsive nature made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. Whenever we had a question, Neil was always there, ready with an answer. An event coordinator like that is accompanied by an incredible staff. Jaylene and Emma were amazing in taking care of us. Jaylene even greeted us with our signature drinks once we finished our ceremony, helping us kick off our celebration on the right foot. Our guests kept raving about the unique charm of the venue. In 2011 we purchased an old dairy farm in a quiet corner of Harrisville, New Hampshire. We cleared fields, planted orchards and gardens, built barns and a commercial kitchen, boiled maple syrup, raised pigs and sheep, and opened a farm store. Our goal was to create a thriving farm that would serve our family, the community, and visitors like you. Today, that dream is a reality. Mayfair Farm offers a complete special events package that is truly unique. With our inspiring views, welcoming barn, and farm-to-table menu, your family and friends will share a one-of-a-kind experience. Our menu is hand-crafted and ethically produced, and each item is made with the most important ingredient—love. And, as our client, you will enjoy the benefits of flexibility and collaboration as we guide you through each step of the event-planning process. If you can think it up, we would love to help you make it happen. We look forward to sharing our farm with you! Sarah Heffron and Craig Thompson

“The Perfect Combination of Beauty, Comfort, and Efficiency We were married at Mayfair Farm on Labor Day weekend 2025. We had about 130 guests. We had many requirements regarding food, drink, comfort of guests, the ceremony, and meals. It’s hard to imagine a host with greater caring, talent, taste, and efficiency than Sarah, the owner. Everything was perfect, even beyond perfect, like a dream! Facility: Mayfair Farm is a beautiful venue. The custom-designed barn was perfect for dining, dancing, serving, and preparation. The firepit right outside the barn made for memorable gatherings, especially on a chilly evening, and with the fun of preparing S’more’s for the guests over the fire. The scenery is gorgeous, particularly the top-of-the-hill ceremony spot surrounded by New Hampshire hills and mountains. The gorgeous view and natural setting added much to the wedding experience. The short walk up the hill to the ceremony hilltop was easy, and elderly guests were driven up without any issue. The barn and farm have professional kitchens so that preparing and serving a meal for 130 people went off without any issues. There was plenty of parking for guests. There is an AirBnB on-site where we stayed and got ready. It was comfortable and great for the hair/make-up preparations before the ceremony. Sarah made her entire facility available to us for the entire weekend—this made things highly convenient and relaxing. For meals, they helped us arrange for a beautiful tent to be set up right outside the barn, so we could use the barn for dancing. The table set-up was gorgeous, which contributed to a memorable, emotionally touching event. Planning: Sarah is a total professional, with the taste and experience to make our event as perfect as we had hoped for. Interacting with Sarah was a pleasure. She is kind, creative, and deeply cares about our hopes for the day and making them come to fruition. She made terrific suggestions on logistics and food, and was creative and responsive in iterating until we finalized the menus. She specializes in farm-to-table food, with local farmers, and this made everything healthy and delicious. She assisted us with vendors (e.g., flowers, tent, wedding planner, bartender, toilets) who provided excellent services. Sarah has a staff of efficient, trusted people who know just what to do, while at the same time exuding warmth and friendship while working. Whatever tension might be present on a wedding day, these workers diffused it and made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. This is huge and played a big role in the perfection of our wedding weekend. Day-of Excellence: All of the above contributed to a wedding weekend that seemed effortless for us and our guests, and of course we saw and understood the tremendous amount of teamwork, talent, and effort went on behind the scenes. We felt relaxed, as did our parents and guests. We all enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and the meaningful, beautiful gathering, ceremony, and celebration. Bottom Line: Mayfair Farm and Sarah provide a specialized offering unlike any other, and at a reasonable price. If you want a wedding in a rural setting, with farm-to-table food prepared to perfection, and a flawless, relaxed ‘vibe’ to the day, look no further. The bonus is that we felt cared for, we saw our vision come to life under Sarah’s supervision, and we saw Sarah’s employees and vendors enthusiastically and efficiently make everything happen perfectly. Highest recommendation.”

All 23 buildings on the property are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A popular wedding venue, the farm is surrounded by four authentically-restored historic year-round vacation rental properties accommodating up to 22 guests—one of which is Rudyard Kipling’s Naulakha where he penned the Jungle Book. The Stone Trust Education Center, located in the 1862 Barn, showcases beautiful, unique dry-stone wall installations around the property. The Apple Barn accommodates up to 120 guests, has a commercial kitchen, three restrooms, one is wheelchair accessible. Overlooking the farm and mountains, a delightful spot for special occasions, rehearsal dinners, and wedding receptions. “My husband and I visited Scott Farm on two occasions before our June 2025 wedding and will continue to treasure it as a destination. The staff, especially Suzanne Tessitore, are absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to help us produce the (slightly alternative) wedding of our dreams. Our 80 guests could comfortably gather in the Apple Barn, by the brook, and at Naulakha for our send-off brunch the morning after. The natural beauty and calm of Dummerston combined with the beautiful, quirky features of the property like the stone walls and cafe bar really made the whole event feel like an escape from reality. We were able to rent all the houses on the property for ourselves and our immediate families, which was a great way to spend lots of time together (and have help close by on set-up day!). It was personally meaningful to me as a native Vermonter to share this state with our people, especially at a venue that encapsulates so many of the values and features that I love about it. I could go on and on! Some more key points: - We were a very (very) DIY couple and appreciated the control we were given for space usage, setup, and flow of the day -- we did not need a lot of hand-holding and we never felt like we were being "managed" - I have a family member who uses a wheelchair and he was able to get around the Apple Barn and surrounding grounds just fine - We ordered apple cider doughnuts from the farm as part of our wedding dessert and they were A - The vendors that Scott Farm suggested to us were all great, and as someone easily overwhelmed by decision fatigue I appreciated that in this relatively remote area there weren't too many options - Many of our guests were LGBTQIA and (not surprisingly for Vermont) were very comfortable - My father in law wanted to bake sourdough bread for our welcome dinner and Suzanne brought us her personal dutch oven for him to use!?! I would recommend Scott Farm as a venue for anyone looking for a naturally beautiful, simple venue highlighting the Vermont landscape and local food economy. We will treasure these memories forever.”

“My husband and I got married at the Northampton Country Club in the fall of 2023. We had 110 people and everyone loved the crisp clean atmosphere of the venue. People had plenty of space to move about and we had a good size dance floor as well! My mother in-law was the one who made the suggestion to get married here as she had attended a wedding the previous year and loved it. We chose to have our ceremony outside on the hill in front of the gazebo and the setting was perfect. The trees had almost fully turned and the backdrop looked amazing in our photos. I loved that I could choose from a list of vendors and not be pressured into a preferred caterer. There was a shuttle from our hotel, which made this location very accessible for out of town guests. I highly recommend this location, you get so much value for what they offer. The bar staff was very accommodating and made the night fun for our guests!”

“I cannot speak highly enough about our experience hosting our wedding at The Curtis House by Gloriosa & Co. My husband and I got married a couple of weeks ago (September 2024) and our wedding was truly one the happiest, best days of our lives thanks to the love and personalization that Gloria and Emma put into planning and executing our day. We were drawn to so many things about the venue, including the charming setting of Ashfield, the rustic but modernized aesthetic of the barn, the beautiful gardens and greenhouse, and the house being an available space to get ready. We were also drawn to the convenience and uniqueness of being able to provide our floral arrangements from Gloria’s greenhouse and gardens on-site, and having all of the food and beverages taken care of through the venue’s catering and bar team. But what made us decide to book this venue for our special day was the attention that Gloria and Emma give each couple. This venue is not your typical wedding factory that puts on weddings multiple times a week, every week of the year; Gloria and Emma host between 12-15 weddings per year and consequently each couple they work with gets full access to the venue the weekend of their wedding and so much guidance during the planning process. We were able to cultivate a vegetarian menu consisting of so many of our favorite foods plus a number of signature dishes of the venue, such as a butternut squash galette that was a crowd favorite. Sustainability is also incredibly important to us as a couple, and Gloria and Emma are committed to sourcing only local, seasonal ingredients for the food and florals and minimizing waste, which meant so much to us. In terms of decor and furnishings, the venue has so much available for couples to use, such as tables, chairs, ceremony benches, several wedding arches to choose from, displays for food or guest favors, tableware, candles, string lights, and more. We did not have to rent or coordinate anything other than the few DIY projects we made, which Gloria and Emma effortlessly integrated into the set up for us. Being able to take care of practically everything through Gloria and Emma made planning so much simpler. On the wedding day, Gloria, Emma, and their team handled the venue set up in a few hours, which happened like a choreographed dance that required practically no work from us or our wedding parties other than providing input and approval along the way. Everything went extremely smoothly and we were able to be fully present. After our ceremony, my husband and I returned to the house, where Gloria had set up champagne and a spread of our hors d'oeuvres for us to enjoy over a few minutes of privacy, which is something she had recommended we do as we took in the moment together. Our guests have had nothing but positive things to say about our wedding and it was clear the day of how much fun everyone had. We have received so many compliments about how beautiful and authentic the venue was, how exquisite Gloria’s floral arrangements were, how delicious all of the food was (even the heavy meat-eaters loved the vegetarian menu), and how this will be a wedding they will always remember. Gloria made us feel like part of her family and we were so happy to be able to support her business. We truly could not have asked for a more memorable, personalized, loving, and beautiful wedding, and hope that many other couples have the pleasure of getting married at this special place.”

“Choosing Stone Garden and working with Kristin was honestly the best decision we made for our wedding. The venue is gorgeous right on the river, and Frank made sure everything ran smoothly without us ever having to worry about it. The bar, the glassware, the restrooms, all taken care of before we even thought to ask. Kristin was our rock from start to finish. She helped us find our photographer, videographer, DJ, and caterer, all of whom were wonderful. And whenever we came to her with a last-minute idea, she just got to work. At one point we wanted a fire spinner at the reception. She went through the entire process of finding out what approvals and permits would be required, just in case we wanted to move forward. We ended up deciding against it, but I will never forget that she did all of that without batting an eye. I found out after the wedding that there were a few things handled quietly behind the scenes on the day. I had absolutely no idea. I spent the whole day laughing and dancing and being completely present, and that is a gift. I would not change one single thing. Thank you Frank, Kristin, and the whole Stone Garden team.”

Founded in 1814, The West Boylston Company was a large textile manufacturer in West Boylston, MA. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. “From the very first tour until the last moments of our wedding celebrations, the Boylston Rooms went above and beyond our expectations for a wedding venue. Erin and Myles were phenomenal to work with throughout our planning process, and they made the entire experience seamless. Erin's kindness and compassion as we worked through a last minute family illness was incredible. Myles' preparation for anything and everything helped make us feel calm and supported throughout our day. We also ended our day with Alli who helped ensure our guests were shuttled safely back to the hotel and our belongings were gathered to help us end our day with everything we needed. Our guests RAVED about how beautiful the space was. There aren't enough words to describe how grateful we are to have chosen the Boylston Rooms for our special day. Not only will you have the most stunning venue, but you'll also get to work with some of the best people you'd ever want to meet.”
