Wedding Package: Approximately $6,000 for a 3-hour evening rental (after 5:00 pm). This includes access to all three museum floors, the upper and lower plazas, and a 2-hour rehearsal time the night before. +1 Stoddard Exhibition Hall: The brand-new hall is available for roughly $6,000 for a 3-hour block. Additional Hours: Generally billed at $1,500 per hour.
Full Museum Takeover: Up to 900 guests for a wandering cocktail-style reception. Stoddard Exhibition Hall: Accommodates up to 360 seated guests (without a dance floor) or 600 for a cocktail reception. Outdoor Tent: Seasonal (April–October) capacity for up to 288 guests. Hirsh Center: Ideal for smaller, intimate weddings or bridal showers of up to 120 guests.
Because the EcoTarium is a living museum, they have strict policies to protect their resident animals: Prohibited Items: Balloons, confetti, piñatas, and plastic straws are strictly forbidden. Wildlife Interaction: You can actually "rent" animals! You can add an Animal Encounter to your cocktail hour for roughly $200–$250, where educators bring out specific animals for guests to meet.
The EcoTarium generally works with a preferred vendor list for large events to ensure they are familiar with the museum's specific electrical and layout constraints. However, smaller daytime parties typically use their on-site provider, Garden Fresh Café
