The Talented Photographer was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, Alec's communication style was fun, professional, and incredibly personable. He had a true passion for his craft that shone through in every interaction. The quality of Alec's work was absolutely stunning - we got a wonderful variety of candids, formal shots, and editorial-style pictures that captured all the special moments of our day. Alec has an incredible eye for the right shots, and the final photos are absolutely gorgeous. Despite a complicated location schedule that I was worried about, Alec made the whole day seamless, traveling to over 4 different spots to ensure we got all the groupings and special shots we wanted. Alec truly went above and beyond, and we had such a great time working with him. I'm obsessed with the pictures and would give him an 11/10 rating!

When I saw Ashley’s work I immediately loved her style. I was a little hesitant to reach out because our wedding was in Alaska and I knew that it was a big ask with her being based in Colorado. I’m so glad I did!! Ashley was super quick to respond and was so enthusiastic about our wedding, she made us even more excited! She was the easiest vendor to work with and by far our favorite! Our wedding photos turned out absolutely stunning even with crazy weather. Thank you so much Ashley!!

I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Pittsburgh, PA! However, the stories I capture don't start and end there. I love to travel to capture stories all around the world.

Awarded Best of Zola
I met Edgar, the owner of Anchor Studios several years ago when we both lived in Houston, TX. We met because I had just finished my degree and was looking for a photographer - he actually took my graduation photos! When it finally came time to book our wedding photography, I knew I wanted to go with him - no questions. His communication style is open and easy. He is responsive to all questions and requests which made the planning process a breeze. The quality of his work is truly top-notch, with beautifully curated photos that captured all the special moments of our wedding day. He is incredibly accommodating and guided us through every step of the way. He didn't hesitate when I even asked him to travel out to California for the wedding. It was awesome to have someone who is like an old friend and has seen us grow over the years capture our special day. Edgar, Anchor Studios Photography, was the perfect addition to our wedding day, and we couldn't be happier with the memories they've preserved for us.

Ali Cushing Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,500
  • Serves Antimony, UT

My name is Ali Cushing, a NY-based/working anywhere, visual storyteller who captures the authentic experience with intention. It's feeling, and it's found in the whirlwind and the still moments, in heightened emotion and calm, and above all, celebrating what makes you and your partner exactly who you are with the people you choose to surround yourself with. In my work composition serves to frame the feeling, with permission to be raw, outrageous, reserved, and unabashedly yourself. I make photos about the day and not the day about the photos. All couples of all genders, ethnicities, ages, faiths, shapes and abilities, are more than welcome.

Awarded Best of Zola
I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Ali! She reached out to me on Zola and I am so glad she did. I was impressed with her portfolio and I really loved seeing how she would capture little moments in the weddings she had done. We set up a video call before booking and we clicked. She is very calm and helped with my pre-wedding nerves. She worked with us on a payment plan and she was always very quick to respond to any of my questions. She really listened to what we wanted. She got to the venue early to scout out different shots and came to check in with me a couple of times before we even began taking photos, which I did not expect but was very sweet and considerate of her. When we were taking photos, she really helped to guide the more “posed” photos but she also captured a lot of beautiful candid moments. We had so many guests come up to us and compliment her and that was before we even got the photos back. She sent us our sneak peeks the next day and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. She captured so many beautiful moments and her style is exactly what we wanted. Nothing felt “overly edited” just perfectly genuine. I cannot recommend Ali enough. I cannot wait to see the full gallery of photos because I know they will be nothing short of perfect.

I've been shooting weddings for almost 10 years. I often work with adventurous couples who look beyond what most of the wedding industry is selling and wanna start their own traditions. I've worked in huge east-coast ballrooms, on Mexican beaches, and at the edges of Moab cliffs. And I'll happily travel to wherever you're doing your own damn thing on your wedding day. I focus on capturing your favorite people in the world and giving you images that pull you right back into the feeling of the day. My style is natural, candid, and joyful, with some sassy editorial portraits and a whole lotta crazy dance floor shots.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were looking for a wedding photographer who would be able to capture the most special moments of our day and who would create wedding photos that were also art, and WOW did Cory deliver! He was so helpful both leading up to our wedding day and on the day itself - we gave him a tight timeline the day of and he handled it so professionally and still made every moment so fun and stress free. He was honestly such a fun guest to have at the wedding, everyone was talking about how much they loved our photographer! And the photos were just perfect. They captured the love and the fun of the day so beautifully. The photos were unique compared to other photographers but also timeless - we had an incredibly difficult time picking our favorites! We truly could not recommend Cory highly enough!

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

Awarded Best of Zola
A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.

Big fan of dive bars, staring at the stars, forever searching for the best french fries, a blissfully cold Diet Coke, and a true midwestern why fly it's only 15 hours. You'll find me often traveling, spending time in nature, collecting rocks and shopping for vintage t-shirts. I love carefree messy in between moments, photographing my daily life on polaroids and film. I've lived a lot of places (Arizona, Arkansas, and Puerto Rico to name a few!) and have so many places that I treasure and feel at home.

When I was in the throes of wedding planning over a year ago, I was reaching out to vendors and putting payments down for June 2, 2024, and was crossing my fingers my deployed fiancé would even be able to attend, thanks to his unpredictable schedule. Amidst the stress (and borderline panic attacks!!) I was having because of that, I was also receiving a lieu of impersonal emails with quotes from photographers. When I got the email back from Jessica, she was the only one who answered with excitement and personality, and gave me a sense that this was supposed to be FUN. All this wedding planning was a very lucky sort of stress, and she didn’t make me feel like I was just some box to check off in her inbox— she was personable and friendly, and I liked her immediately. For the course of the year, Jessica and I kept up with eachother with texts, messages, and Instagram— and I felt like she was already a friend when June arrived. Even after her 12 hour journey to Virginia, she was full of energy and ready to go. She helped adjust some coordination timelines and caught things that I otherwise wouldn’t have. She hung out with my rambunctious family all weekend, witnessing our love and laughter, WIDE range of personalities, and even some sisterly tiffs. Honestly, she whole-heartedly became part of our crew. She ran everything past me when it came to details. Duke and I are not people who are comfortable in front of a camera, and I LOVED having her specifically tell us what to do to look good, while still feeling incredibly relaxed and natural around her. Duke and I kept saying she had Jedi powers the way she was able to flip cameras, batteries and equipment seamlessly. I’m writing this while in the airport leaving our honeymoon, and not only did Duke and I, and our families fall in love with Jessica— I still have guests reaching out to me via text to tell me how they hit it off with her on their own, how impressed they were with her ethic, or how they loved pictures from our sneak peek (eeeek!) I am not a girl who naturally feels pretty or comfortable in front of a camera. Jessica gave me the gift of finally experiencing both of those things on our special day. I felt beautiful and at ease. She captured the bridal portraits that I hope my great grandkids will put in their family tree projects for school one day, some of Dukes family and mine meeting for the first time, friends dancing, and our grandparents mingling and giving us their love. Duke and I knew our big white wedding would be our one chance to have everyone we love in one place. We are well aware of the rarity in that, and the fact that we don’t have much longer with some of those people we love. We’re well aware that these are the photos Duke and I will be looking at with our grandchildren when we’re old and grey, thinking about “the good ol’ days.” These photos are all we will have left one day of the people we love so fiercely, and these versions of ourselves. We will endlessly be grateful for Jessica of her effort and the labor that went into photographing a weekend like ours. She captured every single aspect of us and those we love, and above all us, gave us the gift of memory. 3 Faith and Duke

Diana and Isiah truly made our elopement one of the most incredible days of our lives. From the very first meeting, Diana and Isiah were nothing but helpful, responsive, and patient. We decided shortly before the wedding that we wanted to have night shots. Diana was able to provide us with some examples of her previous night shoots and helped us pick out the perfect location. The entire planning process was significantly easier with Diana’s assistance. She also checked in just enough to ensure we were feeling ready for the big day. Isiah was able to help us decide all of the big details for our ceremony and made it feel uniquely us. On the big day, we were so thankful for Diana and Isiah. As soon as they arrived for the getting-ready photos, my stress disappeared. Diana took all the shots that we wanted and was a true professional in setting everything up. Isaiah was our officiant and did an amazing job During and after our actual ceremony, both Diana and Isiah were lifesavers. Diana was able to get photos that weren’t overly posed and really felt like us as a couple. Isiah did an amazing job with our ceremony and was also there to assist with everything else, from helping us up steep rocks to carrying items for the photos. We are so thankful we went with Love and Latitudes for our elopement. We can’t sing their praise enough, and would pick them again in a heartbeat.

She did my wedding photoshoot, and family photoshoot after I had my first baby. We plan on getting pregnant again and you best believe Lalin will be our photographer for the announcement pics, newborn pics and EVERY photoshoot we need. Here are some excellent perks about Lalin: 1. Lalin has a HUGE heart and wants the best for everyone. Because of this, she will memorize your inspo pics like the back of her hand, and make them look even better than the inspo pics you showed her. 2. She knows all the best angles, ladies. She makes you feel good and confident in your skin. When I’ve done shoots in the last, I always got my picture back and felt super self conscious. She made me look beautiful and knew the best angles for myself. 3. Her quality/lighting of pictures are the best!! She brings your special day to life, and brings joy to each picture 4. Everybody raves about her. All my bridesmaids loved Lalin and were OBSSESSED with the pics when they came back 5. I cried both times I got my wedding pic and family photoshoot pics back. They are always better than I ever could have imagined. Whoever gets the opportunity to have Lalin do their photo shoot is truly blessed. She is such a sweetheart and truly does an amazing job.

Dani helped us with choosing our elopement location in Colorado! She listened to our must-haves for our location and provided us a list of options with info on permits and everything. She made the elopement process so easy! We picked our location off her advice :) We also had snow hit the day of our elopement and since it was just my husband & I plus the photographers, (Dani & Jed), she let us adjust our elopement time to get the best experience in the elements. They also followed my husband & I to our restaurant where we had dinner and took some amazing candid photos our first dinner as husband and wife. Such an incredible team and incredible experience. Hiring them was the best decision we made when we decided to elope!!

Hi! My name is Mae, and I live in Brooklyn with my girlfriend, our two dogs Apollo and Bia, her cat Gigi and my lizard, Basil! I’ve always been passionate about capturing moments as authentically and magically as possible, and as i’ve settled more into this career path, I love that i’ve landed in a place where I have the privilege to capture and preserve people’s love stories. Weddings and elopements are so distinctly and uniquely human, and it’s truly the biggest honor to be trusted to document them.

Mae was extremely friendly and guided us through the entire process, offering valuable suggestions that made our proposal even more special. The quality of her work is truly exceptional - the photos they captured are not only beautifully composed, but also incredibly meaningful and full of raw emotion that we will cherish forever. Mae was discreet and able to capture intimate, candid moments that truly reflect the joy and love of our proposal. We are beyond thrilled with the final results and would highly recommend Mae Krell Photo to any couple looking for a talented, professional photographer to document their special occasions.

Local to Colorado & native to Indiana I'm a photographer dedicated to helping couples bring their wedding vision to life. I believe that your love story is anything but boring, and your photos should reflect that. With 8 years of experience, I’ve captured clients through fun prompts and welcoming energy. I’m not gonna lie I’m a strong believer in truly connecting with my client. Yes I send ‘<3’ in my emails. Yes I’d love to fan girl over your wedding deets with you! Mimosas? Coffee? I’m down

My fiancé and I took our first professional photos together ever with Sara for our engagement photos. She guided us through and made it feel so natural and we had so much fun! We are so excited to see our photos and for our wedding day! 3

Hire Lo. You won't regret it. Not only does she know what she is doing in terms of getting all the planned shots, she got incredible candid shots and live shots of my groom and I, our families, and our guests. As we've been looking back so far at our pictures, we get to relive the emotion of the day. It's the intangible thing that an incredible photographer can do--capture the emotion. I can feel our joy radiating out of our photos and I am so grateful I hired Lo. Years from now we are going to get to experience this day over-and-over because the quality of her photos is incredible. The variety of shots she was able to get makes it seem like she had second shooter (but she's just that good). Our first look was perfect. She made sure we got some golden hour shots and then got us right back to dinner so we could eat. She also is incredible at giving minor adjustment tips to make sure we weren't doing anything weird with our hands lol. Additionally, and this was big for me, working with her ahead of the wedding she reminded me how to be excited for this day. Wedding planning was stressful, but every time I got to talk to Lo she got me back to a place of being excited and joyful. The day-of when she showed up, she helped make sure we had everything covered, and kept me calm even when some things went wrong. I felt like I not only had a great photographer, but a friend who had my back and wanted to make sure my day went perfect. I am so glad we hired Lo. My groom teared up looking back at some of these photos. Hire Lo!

From the moment we spoke with Angela, we knew we wanted her to be our photographer. She is incredibly friendly and responsive! We recently had our engagement shoot in NYC and she exceeded our expectations. Our pictures came out better than we could’ve imagined and she was such a joy to work with. Talking to her felt like talking to an old friend. We are so happy we found Angela and CANNOT wait for next year when she captures our wedding day! I’d hire her for any and all photo shoots if I could!
