“Black Walnut Farm is an unbelievable venue that far exceeded our expectations for our wedding. Beyond the incredible property, the owners are excellent to work with from your first tour to even after your event. To start, the barn and the surrounding grounds look incredible and are so beautifully manicured. So many of our guests complimented the venue. The staff also blended very seamlessly with our caterer. We used Bridge Creek Catering, who were unbelievably on top of it, and between the venue and the caterers there wasn’t a single hiccup. Sarah’s day-of coordination definitely tied everything together and gave us a ton of confidence that event would run smoothly. We rented a tent for our reception and had it placed on the main lawn. The scene behind us, wild grass and a line of trees, is absolutely stunning in our photos. And the ceremony space in the woods is honestly magical. The farmhouse on the property, where the wedding party can stay for the duration of their weekend, is so comfortable and classic. The MASSIVE fireplace in the parlor is so amazing. And who doesn’t love a hot tub? We can’t say enough good things about Black Walnut.”

“We got married at Mountainville Manor yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better. Lauren and James flawlessly executed our many many requests, accommodated our food allergies, and made sure that everything ran smoothly so that I, the bride, could (finally) relax. We used two of their recommended vendors: Gillian the florist and Matthew Lask the DJ and they were both fantastic. If you get married here, my one piece of advice is to listen to Mary when she reminds you to eat, otherwise you will miss the delicious food! We couldn’t be happier with our experience.”

“Skyview Golf Club was the PERFECT place to get married! My now husband and I had a blast at this venue and they made the process soo smooth. Hildegard was a huge help and basically held our hand along the way to make sure we checked everything needed to get done. Not to mention, we were planning a wedding across the country so her communication was essential to this process. I couldn't have asked for a better spot. It's also such a naturally beautiful venue that we didn't need to go overboard with the decoration as they already had a lot of stuff on site! I would 100% recommend this location to people and already have to some of my recently engaged friends! Additionally, their partnered vendors were everything we needed as well. Made it so much easier as they had recommendations already on lock. Thank you again Skyview for making our special night the most memorable.”

“There are no words that I could possibly say that could pinpoint how I feel about Kerri and the staff at FVM. When your daughter gets engaged to the love of her life, you immediately want the absolute most perfect wedding day for her and you want all her wedding dreams to come true. The first time I met Kerri I had an instant feeling of this is the place, and this is the person to make it all come true. My daughter had a vision of what she wanted her day to look like, and Kerri made it and more happen! The venue is unbelievably gorgeous. The staff is beyond compare and the food was top-notch delicious! I will forever be grateful to everyone at Fortune Valley Manor who helped make my daughter and son-in-law‘s day a memory that will last a lifetime. Kerri, you are absolutely incredible at what you do! If I could give 1 million stars to this review, I would! Five stars just does not seem to be enough! It’s four days after the wedding and it still brings tears to my eyes how perfect Fortune Valley Manor made this day!”

“We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!”

“We had our wedding at Vanderbilt Lakeside at the end of August and could not have imagined a better experience. From start to finish, working with Henrietta and Matt was truly seamless. Henrietta was responsive, organized, transparent, and made the planning process genuinely enjoyable. She also had many vendor recommendations that were incredibly helpful in bringing everything together. The venue is stunning and so versatile. We had 50 guests and highly recommend renting a tent for the deck if you're doing dinner outside. It really elevates the space and the flow of the reception. Our ceremony was in the yard, dinner on the deck, and dancing in the bar room, and it all flowed perfectly. The staff was amazing and made us feel like VIPs all night. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food, the service, and the beauty of the venue. We loved staying on-site with our dog while family and friends stayed in downtown Hudson, and we arranged a shuttle for easy transportation. Setup and cleanup were a breeze, thanks not only to the Vanderbilt Lakeside staff but also to our wedding coordinator, which made the whole experience even smoother. We loved every minute and couldn't recommend Vanderbilt Lakeside enough. I almost wish I could keep it a secret because of how special it felt. It was worth every penny, and was truly the perfect place for us to celebrate.”

“We had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty's—some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredible—we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good hands—and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictions—everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpful—people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venues—from full-service spots to DIY operations—and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staff—and all at such a high caliber—unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them. I was really worried about being able to turn a blank space into my dream night but they made it happen easily. I'll never forget the feeling of seeing it all set up for the first time. “My husband and I got married at Hotel Lilien last September and the entire weekend exceeded our wildest expectations. Coordinating with Daniel and Jules was excellent throughout the entire process and they responded timely with answers, solutions, and suggestions. The staff was very flexible and was able to adapt to decisions that were made the week before based on weather. Throughout our entire stay they were extremely attentive and helpful with all requests, specifically Chris, Jason, Anthony, and Kiera. They really made our weekend perfect. Each room was pristine when we arrived and every single attendee mentioned how much they loved the accommodations. The food was also amazing, people couldn’t stop talking about the grilled cheese, tomato soup, and charcuterie/burrata boards. Looking back on our wedding as a whole, choosing Hotel Lilien was the perfect decision and we are so grateful for their entire staff making the whole experience so magical. The hotel has so much history and the original owner’s daughter, Meta Lilienthal, has a personal memoir called Dear Remembered World and the book describes her life in both Manhattan and Upstate back in the 1890s. While the property is now a hotel, the new owners have managed to expertly craft an environment that makes you feel right at home. Couldn’t recommend more!”

“We loved our wedding at ElmRock Inn! The venue is gorgeous and I had the time of my life. Staying onsite was amazing. I highly recommend ElmRock. The chef is fantastic and we will remember our wedding fondly for the rest of our lives. There were a few negatives during our stay, but we are still very glad that we got married at ElmRock. The first negative was that the water in the BnB and carriage house (where bride/groom stayed) kept running out at night. This was pretty annoying, but not a huge issue since the water was usually fine by morning. Second, the venue coordinator was pretty rude throughout the weekend and especially to my family. Many people at the wedding commented about how rude she was (and the fact that she wore white pants to our wedding!). The rest of the staff was nicer, though a couple of the servers were also rude, just not as bad. I expected the staff to be more accommodating and welcoming the entire weekend, but it really felt more like we were getting scolded at times. Lastly, they served my wedding cake really cold and had clearly forgotten to take it out of the fridge to get to room temperature before serving. That was quite frustrating, especially since I heard them talking about how I (the bride) needed to hurry up to start the cake cutting while I was changing, but the cake wasn't even ready! Overall, the venue is gorgeous and we had a lovely time. I think the experience would be improved by some updating to their plumbing and getting a coordinator that's nicer to their customers. The food was AMAZING and the chef is fantastic, just be warned if you're sensitive to people who can be rude/unaccommodating.”

“The second I walked into Novellas when we went for a tour I knew that’s where I wanted to get married. The bridal suite was absolutely gorgeous. There was plenty of room to get ready and relax the morning of our wedding. I was able to connect my phone to the sound system so we could listen to music while we got ready. We had access to the bridal suite throughout the wedding which was great. The outside ceremony and cocktail hour space were both so beautiful. The waterfall is the perfect background for taking photos. When I walked into the reception space I completely fell in love. The chandeliers are stunning and the room just feels luxurious. Bryce, the manager, was phenomenal with communication. I received a response back within a day which was great. He was truly so flexible and there wasn’t much of a limit of things we couldn’t do. I wanted to get on top of the bar and pour shots into our guests mouths and I know it sounds like a crazy idea but you only get one wedding. I told Bryce that’s what I wanted to do and he said I could absolutely do that. That was my favorite part of the night! Novellas also offered the outside space to be used for the after party which was great. We ordered pizza from a local pizzeria and had that delivered and we brought coolers of beer and seltzers and hung outside by the fire pit until 2 in the morning. There are also two hotels that are walkable from Novellas because they essentially share a parking lot. That was also one of the reasons I chose Novellas. I didn’t have to worry about our guests not having a ride home or having to find someone to drive them home. Our guests were able to walk right to their hotel room. Courtney is the day of coordinator and she was absolutely phenomenal! She truly went above and beyond for us. She came to check on me the day of the wedding in the bridal suite multiple times. I was so anxious the morning of that I was just walking back and forth in the venue and I kept apologizing to her and she said whatever I needed to do and I wasn’t in the way. She set up everything for us the day of the wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous. I had given her a list of all the decor I had and where I wanted it and she set everything up just how I envisioned it. She was phenomenal the whole day and she kept everything running smoothly. She was on top of everything. We never had to ask for anything. When we thought of something or we needed something we would turn around and it would always be done or she would have what we needed. After our ceremony, Courtney was waiting with a drink in her hands for us and a smile on her face. This was truly the perfect venue for the best day of our lives.”

“Where do we even begin? My husband Junior has not stopped saying since our wedding day that it was the best day of his life—and I couldn’t agree more. Our celebration at The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm was beyond anything we could’ve dreamed. We are eternally grateful for the care, heart, and effort that went into creating a day so unforgettable—truly a memory etched in time. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away—not only by the stunning setup, but by the team behind it all. Every member of the staff was exceptional, working seamlessly to ensure everything ran like clockwork. Billiam, Erica, Magic Cathy (yes, she really is magic!), Iván, and Juan—what a powerhouse of a team. You can tell this isn’t just a job for them; it’s a calling, and it shows in every thoughtful detail. One of the promises this venue makes is that you’ll be able to fully immerse yourself in the joy of your wedding without worrying about logistics—and let me tell you, they deliver. Every element was handled with care and professionalism, allowing us to focus entirely on celebrating our love and being present with our guests. Their collaborative spirit and meticulous attention to detail left nothing to chance. The venue itself is nothing short of enchanting. Nestled in a landscape bursting with vibrant botanicals, it offers a setting so breathtaking that it feels like something out of a dream. And then there are the florals—oh, the florals—brought to life by the incredibly talented Iván Torres Vega. Photos alone don’t do justice to his work; in person, it felt like walking through a fairy tale. And beyond his artistry, Iván’s generosity shone through—when my mom’s dress wouldn’t stay up, he literally stepped in and tailored it on the spot. Who does that? Absolutely magical. We’re still floating on cloud nine, and much of that joy is thanks to Erica of Clean Plate Pictures, whose vision and presence put me at ease (especially as someone more used to being behind the camera). Her team captured every precious moment so effortlessly—it all felt natural, never forced. We just got our teaser photos back, and if those are just the previews, we can only imagine how breathtaking the full gallery will be. And let’s talk about the food. As a group of serious foodies, our guests were thrilled—and still talking—about the menu crafted by the extraordinary Juan Romero. We opted for the upgraded, customized selections, and wow… Chimichurri steak, Mediterranean lamb meatballs, tacos al pastor, smashies and more. Every bite was next-level delicious. We also highly recommend upgrading to include the flower bar—such a creative, memorable way to send your guests home with something special—and booking the extra hour on the farm. Also: don’t sleep on the silent disco package! It was the ultimate grand finale. Most of our guests had never experienced one before, and it turned out to be a massive hit. I can’t wait to see our video footage and relive every electric, joy-filled moment. Billiam, thank you for welcoming us to your slice of paradise and helping us create something truly magical. You and your team didn’t just host our wedding—you gave us a story we’ll be telling for the rest of our lives. With deep gratitude, Kayla & Mizraim Batista”

Tim the Banquet manager was always around ready to make sure it all ran smoothly. Ryan the lift operations manager kept Brittany updated on the weather day of and when it didn’t look good at the bottom he drove up to make sure he truly had say no to us going to the summit (it was 30 degrees with 45 kt winds) he and his crew opened the lift for 2 hours the next day so we could still get our summit pictures and they all had smiles on their faces. “My women's education and networking group, the Women's Professional Network (WPN) held an event at Revel 32 on the evening of June 29. The venue is simply amazing! Beautiful, well laid out for any type of event. On the first floor there is a greeting/social area. When you climb to the top of the beautiful stairway, there is a small area that leads to a larger meeting room. There is a beautiful bar between these 2 rooms. There is also a larger room with a lovely stage. On the third floor there is another room and an exquisite balcony overlooking the second floor. The venue layout was very conducive to a networking event like ours. The hostess ( Judy Hannon) and her team were so hospitable and warm. Parking is readily available next to the building or in the public parking lot across the street. I would highly recommend Revel 32 as a venue for any type of event. “Phoenicia Diner went above and beyond when communicating with my wife and I about options, and assisted us through the entire process. It was more difficult getting my suit tailored than arranging to have our wedding here. The food was outstanding and all our guests loved it, and they even made great NA beverages because my wife and I don’t drink (they ended up being the most purchased drink at the bar, actually). Aside from how good everything there was, the price is so reasonable when you consider you’re getting married in one of the most popular places in the Catskills with awards and nods from huge publications like NYT. It was so special to get married in the diner, and I would pick it all over again if I had to. I’ve been to a number of weddings at fancy places with bad food and atmosphere with nothing special about it. The diner was the opposite of that- excellent food, really fun atmosphere, and incredibly special.”
