She captured the classic posed photos AND the precious in-between moments where people are being their most authentic selves (the face my dad makes when he's really intently listening, the hand gestures my mom uses when she's explaining something and can't find the right words, the face my mother in law makes when she's cracking herself up, the face my father in law makes right before the tears fall, and so so many more). “Lindsay was the absolute best to work with. No one better! We did an engagement and wedding shoot with her. I consider myself to not be the most photogenic person, and find photos taken of me generally look unnatural, staged, or silly. Lindsay found a way to make us both feel comfortable and ourselves and the results were photos we absolutely cherish. She’s obviously seasoned in what she does and helped us figure out how to organize the time for the more formal shots in addition to the candids. She did great scouting of both locations to make sure the shots she took were well framed, interesting, had good lighting, and also reflected us as a couple. “My husband Will and I got married in October and we planned everything together. Hands down, the easiest and best decision we made (besides going through with the marriage ;-)) was picking Chris as our photographer. He was so easy to work with from the get go. We set up a brief meeting, shared our vision (we wanted a "photojournalist approach"), and mapped out a schedule of events. Anything that we did not think to ask, he made sure to bring up and help make our vision more complete. Chris was excellent at capturing all of the tiny moments of the night without being in anyone's way. The pictures that he captured were absolutely STUNNING--the perfect amount of sentimental moments captured in beautiful lighting and silly off the cuff moments that captured the essence of each and every guest. We would work again with Chris in a heartbeat and friends have already requested his contact information for their ceremony. As an added bonus, because we did not end up using Chris for all of the allotted time, he offered to do a separate photoshoot whenever we would like. It's those little attention to details and customer service which make Chris stand out from the rest. “Meeting Juniett and Julian (the Oxford St. Photography team) in our introduction call was all we needed to know that this duo was the perfect fit for us.
