“Kyle was amazing to work with for our wedding! His communication throughout the planning process was always professional, quick, and organized. Kyle shared a detailed Google Doc with us to fill in with our personalized timeline of the day and preferences for music and announcements. About a month before the wedding, he scheduled a video call to go through that timeline step by step and to make sure he understood all of our requests. We shared specific songs we wanted for things like walking down the aisle and first dance and were able to share entire playlists of requests for things like music to play during cocktail hour, dinner, and our reception. On the day, Kyle was a rockstar. Everything was set up and ready to go well before our ceremony began. During the ceremony, the audio was excellent. From the volume of the music as we walked down the aisle, to the mics set up for us and our officiant, to the transition into our recessional, all of it was incredible. At the end of cocktail hour, Kyle pulled me aside just to review our entrance into the reception, which helped alleviate some nerves for me! And of course Kyle shined brightest during DANCING! He read the room, kept the energy high, and added in some awesome mixes and transitions that worked so well. We added on the photo booth and printer which was a huge hit! There were two print outs of each photo strip and you could even enter your phone number to get a digital version of the strip plus a video of all 4 photos rotating. This was super helpful especially for sharing large group photos. Kyle also sent us the digital copies of ALL of the photos and videos from the photo booth. We would highly recommend hiring Underfloor Music for your next event!”

“My wife and I had Lou DJ our upstate wedding and it was more than we could have dreamed of. From the beginning, he was nothing but professional. He met with us multiple times prior to the event to go over music selection, flow of the ceremony day etc. His website was very easy to use and allowed us to have a large role in our music selection for the day, even for the reception dance portion. Everything was reviewed at least 3 times to ensure there were no hiccups, and also to make sure we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the ceremony day. On the day, Lou came in very early to setup and his equipment was extremely unobtrusive and sounded amazing. From the ceremony to reception (and especially cocktail hour), the sound was fantastic and there was not a single hiccup (even with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour!). His flow through the reception was so smooth - and as a former college radio DJ, his music choice to fill in the gaps between the 'must plays' we sent him were impeccable!!! If you have a big heart for music and want it to be the backbone of any great party while having one of the most professional guys out there - Lou is 100% your guy. Thanks again Lou!!!!”

Not to mention he came early to set up and ran the whole thing on his own without missing a beat. Truly a 10/10 experience for us. We highly recommend Mike! P.S Our only word of advice…This didn’t affect us in the moment but we did get a lot of feedback from our guests that since we did not have mics our guest could not hear our vows clearly during our ceremony. “The New York Players were the thing our wedding guests talked about the most! Aside from being absolutely fantastic and putting on a great show, the pre-event communication and planning support really made NYP a great band to work with. We didn't really know going into booking what things needed to be considered when booking our event music, and Mike was so helpful for holding our hands through the planning process. Before the event, Mike helped us plan the logistics, met with us to discuss our goals, and gave us an extensive song list to select music from for the night, as well as adding some songs that we love that were not on the list. The attention to detail and level of care put into the band made feel so fun and special, and took a lot of the stress of wedding planning out of the music planning due to the top-notch professionalism. The band really is amazing, the experience was like being at a live concert where all of your favorite bands are playing all of your favorite songs. He was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. When we accidentally ordered the wrong sparklers, he made a miracle happen and got us some beautiful LED sparklers for our grand exit. And the music was absolutely perfect - our dance floor was so much fun all night long! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. The reception environment was such an active party - at one point, I went back to the head table to get water and no one was sitting, as people were fully dancing or enjoying the music from the sidelines. Even when we had to make some last-minute changes to the day's details, Paul was able to roll with it seamlessly, even practicing our long last name until he got it right. The remainder of the reception was an absolute blast, with people dancing through the entire end of the night. It was truly the best day and party we could have had, and we would hire Valentino Entertainment, LLC again in a heartbeat. The photobooth was also a great value-add.”

“We hired Intrinsic Groove to perform at our wedding in April 2026 and it was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. We watched a lot of videos and felt confident they were going to be great, but they far exceeded our expectations. They were high energy, crowd engaging, phenomenal performers who met the vibe every single time. Vocals were KILLER. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and I credit a lot of that to the energy the band brought. On top of a killer reception, they also did incredible ceremony and cocktail hour music that made everything flow harmoniously. You just can’t beat a killer band for your wedding, worth every penny! Matt understood this perfectly—he had the dance floor packed all night and blended the music seamlessly. Any concerns we had regarding song lengths or flow, he was already ahead of it. He uses a custom planning form that was incredibly thorough, which made it so easy for us to help structure our timeline and music preferences. It also didn't go unnoticed by our other vendors; they were all very complimentary of how well he managed the energy throughout the night.
