“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “When planning our wedding for December 6th, 2025, one of the biggest priorities for us was finding a DJ service that fit our budget without sacrificing quality. Complete Weddings Events Albany exceeded those expectations. Their pricing was right on par with what we needed, and their packages were extremely affordable while still offering a high level of service and professionalism. One of the things we found most important throughout the planning process was being able to meet with our DJ in person. Working face-to-face allows couples to build trust, communicate expectations clearly, and make sure the DJ understands the overall tone and flow of the day. DJ Dagger did exactly that for us. He met with us early in the process and multiple times leading up to the wedding, and that personal connection made an enormous difference. “My wife and I had Lou DJ our upstate wedding and it was more than we could have dreamed of. From the beginning, he was nothing but professional. He met with us multiple times prior to the event to go over music selection, flow of the ceremony day etc. His website was very easy to use and allowed us to have a large role in our music selection for the day, even for the reception dance portion. Everything was reviewed at least 3 times to ensure there were no hiccups, and also to make sure we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the ceremony day. On the day, Lou came in very early to setup and his equipment was extremely unobtrusive and sounded amazing. From the ceremony to reception (and especially cocktail hour), the sound was fantastic and there was not a single hiccup (even with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour!). His flow through the reception was so smooth - and as a former college radio DJ, his music choice to fill in the gaps between the 'must plays' we sent him were impeccable!!! If you have a big heart for music and want it to be the backbone of any great party while having one of the most professional guys out there - Lou is 100% your guy. Thanks again Lou!!!!”

“Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. Will miss working with them, but absolutely will be following their journeys and would use them again in a heartbeat! So thankful for Justin and Rob!”

Our guest were able to take prints home and leave a print in our guest book. It was so nice to be able to look at all the photos and messages that were left by our guests. Within a few days after our wedding Mike also provided us the links to all the photobooth photos. We were unsure about lighting but with Mikes guidance he knew exactly what we needed based on our music choices. We are so grateful for his expertise because it turned out absolutely amazing. Not to mention he came early to set up and ran the whole thing on his own without missing a beat. Truly a 10/10 experience for us. We highly recommend Mike! P.S Our only word of advice…This didn’t affect us in the moment but we did get a lot of feedback from our guests that since we did not have mics our guest could not hear our vows clearly during our ceremony. This is something to consider discussing with Mike if you plan to have him.”

Saratoga Sound is the best of both worlds with their live acoustic music for cocktail hour, and DJ services for the reception, and our guests loved it! The music during the reception was at a good volume for dinner, and Karen even went up to my mom during dinner to check in which my mom really appreciated. They did an amazing job reading the dance floor and keeping the party going until the very end! They finished the night with Love Story which was one of my song requests, but I had not specifically requested it at the end – it ended up being the most perfect end to our wedding and a memory I will never forget. “The New York Players were the thing our wedding guests talked about the most! Aside from being absolutely fantastic and putting on a great show, the pre-event communication and planning support really made NYP a great band to work with. We didn't really know going into booking what things needed to be considered when booking our event music, and Mike was so helpful for holding our hands through the planning process. Before the event, Mike helped us plan the logistics, met with us to discuss our goals, and gave us an extensive song list to select music from for the night, as well as adding some songs that we love that were not on the list. The attention to detail and level of care put into the band made feel so fun and special, and took a lot of the stress of wedding planning out of the music planning due to the top-notch professionalism. The band really is amazing, the experience was like being at a live concert where all of your favorite bands are playing all of your favorite songs. “HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth did a great job keeping our wedding reception fun and upbeat. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

“Eddie & Dave were awesome! They were our DJ and emcee for our wedding ceremony and reception on August 31. Eddie was easy to communicate with, and was there for us through the whole experience from beginning to end. The second it was dance time, they got the crowd up and out onto the dance floor in a heartbeat, and most didn’t leave the dance floor until the night was over. DJ was good, knew what songs to play, when to play them, and played the ones I wanted. And the emcee was awesome, funny & easily able to get people involved in whatever!! We also rented a Photo Booth through DJ Double E and it was a HUGE hit!! They’re awesome and I would totally book them again!”
