“Aran DJ’ed our wedding at a farm in November. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Before the wedding: He communicated clearly and responded quickly to all of our inquiries, usually responding within an hour to emails! He asked really clear and simple questions that helped us clarify our goals and needs. We gave him murky instructions since we were overwhelmed with all of the choices we had to make for the wedding, and he translated our vague thoughts into a straightforward timeline, plan for equipment, and playlists. He communicated with our other vendors efficiently to make sure everyone was on the same page. He even helped us figure out how one of our friends could play guitar on an amp while walking between the locations. At the wedding: Aran went above and beyond. He showed up early and DJed our outdoor cocktail hour as a bonus. He DJed our outdoor chilly ceremony and stepped in to fix last minute microphone and lighting problems. I heard from everyone that the audio was clear and at a good volume, which I was worried about because we had hard of hearing guests. At our reception, at our request he helped orchestrate an EPIC hora dance, one of the best ever. He then emcee’d the night’s flow, calling up each person to give a speech, calling tables to the buffet, etc, in a way that was subtle and efficient. And then the dance party… the dance party!!! It was so epic. Aran brought a cool multi-color light, and played all the hits, took requests, asked me (the bride) like one or two questions when he needed to, and was just really fun and lively and down for whatever the crowd wanted. Aran, we are so grateful to you for helping to make our special night so wonderful!!! Thank you!!!”

“Summit Events and DJ Sean Markland were amazing to work with! Do you want to have the most epic dance party of your life at your wedding? Do you want your guests on the dance floor all night? Do you want the wedding playlist to be a reflection of you and your spouse's music choices? Then you want to book Summit Events ASAP. Our wedding DJ was Sean Markland and he was just phenomenal to work with. Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. We would definitely use Sean and Summit Events again and highly recommend them for the best night of your life!”

He was a professional, his app is amazing and helped guide Megan and Brandon with how to select songs all the way through the preceremony to the end of the reception. There was even a place to provide their comments or special memories for particular songs, so that Jay could share. The photo booth was a huge hit too! What was most important to me was that everyone loved the music and Jay and commented during and after the wedding with how great he was and the music. “We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

“DJ Neal was an amazing choice for our recent wedding at the Rust Manor House in Leesburg, VA. From the beginning of the wedding process, DJ Neal was friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. He took into consideration some of our favorite artists and curated a wonderful playlist for our wedding day (i.e., ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). We had quite a unique request being “early 2000s nostalgia” for the reception and he delivered! During couples portraits before the ceremony, I remember telling people how much I enjoyed the music he was playing. Additionally, during our reception in the outdoor tent, everyone was out of their seat and on the dance floor. As someone who considers themselves a homebody, he really brought me and my (now) husband out of our shells and created such a fun energy. The transitions between songs were so smooth and well executed. Additionally, he was a wonderful and well-spoken MC for our event. We really appreciated him for being part of our big day! “Our coordinator at Wyndridge Farms recommended we book Baltimore Event Solutions and specifically request "Korey with a K." After just a few minutes of viewing the photos and videos of gigs he had posted on his Facebook page we knew he was our guy. He reaffirmed this decision during our intro call when the first thing he said to us was, "Just know on your wedding day, I've got you." We instantly knew we were in great hands. Korey exceeded all expectations, from his in-depth phone calls leading up to the wedding to his oozing charisma and passion during the reception. He did a fantastic job of engaging with our guests, friends, and family while also allowing everyone to have their moment to shine. His remixes and overlays of songs drove our crowd nuts, and he perfectly captured our 80s, 90s, and early 2000s interests all night long. There was one particular transition between two songs that was the best we've ever heard, and the crowd LOVED it. We’re over a month out from the big day and people are still telling us that it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. Korey was also accommodating with requests and announcements during the reception ensuring dinner ran smoothly before dancing began.
