Ackerman Visuals

Based out of New York City, Ackerman Visuals is a small company specializing in wedding visuals that celebrate human connection, love, and warmth. My name is Peter Ackerman, and I thoroughly enjoy telling others' stories and capturing moments of meaning and connection on film. There is something special in having a hand in helping carve into stone, memories that will be looked back on for lifetimes - I cherish that responsibility.

I put in the effort and take the time to understand the couple as a whole, and work within that understanding to guide my work in capturing the day that feels unique to the couple. On the day I am always present, yet never in the way. The camera is always at the ready for even the smallest moments - as sometimes a split may contain an entire story. By the end of the day, the big moments (the ceremony, the kiss, the dance) will be captured, as well as the small unexpected moments. With that, I will weave a story for you on film that feels honest to your day, down to the tiniest detail.
