Hello! My name is Fen, nice to meet you online! I’m a freelance cinematographer and editor. I split my time between shooting weddings and indie films. I enjoy doing both because I love the thrill of operating a camera and I love people and stories! I have shot over 300 weddings and I edit everything myself. In my spare time I love swimming, hiking, skiing, traveling with my family, writing and learning all kinds of stuff. I’m very curious about the world!

Since most of the Wedding Studios these days prioritize on making wedding short films (voice-over, time-shifted scenes and audio tracks), I figure that I offer something different for a special interest group - my specialty is that 2 to 3 hour long video that edit everything I shoot from beginning to end, in other words - a video of what actually happens.

$1500 fee INCLUDES: 8 hours of coverage within a day 1 Cinematographer Multiple cameras for key moments Finely edited long version video (2 – 3 hours long and chronological) Free drone location shot if weather and location permit Optional ADD-ONs: Additional hour ($150 per hour) Second shooter for 8 hours ($1000) Cinematic Highlight ($200) Documentary Style Short Film ($800) Raw footage and editing file (Final Cut Pro X) on a Mac formatted hard drive ($60)

    Fen was wonderful to work with for out wedding on October 8th, 2023! From the very first virtual meeting all the way through the big day itself, she was so friendly and professional! On the day of our wedding she coordinated with our photographer to get video capturing the entire day from start to finish, sometimes from the same angles as our photographer and at other times different angles or multiple angles all at once! We opted to receive both the full-length format video as well as the short highlight summary, and they are both fantastic! From the drone shots of the venue in the introduction, to the wonderful B-roll video clips in the transitions, and overlaid music at times where it made sense, the videos we received are just so wonderfully put together and capture the events of the day perfectly! The highlight video struck a great balance of events throughout the day and was great to be able to post to our socials. We asked for a small change to the highlight video, and Fen was more than accommodating and had an updated version sent back out to us very quickly. And when we received and watched the full 3 hour edit, we felt transported right back to that day and like were able to completely re-live it. We are so happy with our choice to work with Fen, and overjoyed to have this special record of our big day for the rest of our lives. Overall we cannot say enough good things about Fen and her work, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a videographer!

    Fen was so amazing to work with, two important things we wanted from our videographer were to have RAW footage included in our price and on our wedding day to basically not even know they were there. Fen did both of those, she was extremely reasonable with pricing and so easy going leading up to the wedding day and throughout it. Fen easily blends into the background unlike most videographers that you can find yourself bumping into on the dance floor. If you're looking for a kind, easy going and professional videographer for a more than decent price Fen is the best choice!

    Fen was a dream to work with during planning, leading up to and on the day of the wedding and after. She was always present yet never once felt in the way of any action, and captured all the best moments. Even over a year later I couldn't find the video, Fen emailed me back in a few hours and was able to assure me not all was lost. I HIGHLY recommend Fen, you wont be disappointed!

    Fen is absolutely wonderful!! I found Fen Video on Zola and was immediately struck by the fact that I recognized one of the brides in the promo trailers as an old friend from my home town. I took that as a great sign and reached out to Fen and only Fen to ask about being our videographer. We corresponded a few times to exchange ideas, locations, details etc and everything was always very simple and easy. Day of the wedding, Fen worked closely with our photographer and together they coordinated our First Look photo shoot, which they both captured beautifully. Fen left early to set up at the church and tactfully set up several cameras to capture all the important moments of our traditional Orthodox ceremony. She was very respectful of the priest and the church customs. At the reception, she was EVERYWHERE. Slipping in and out of dance circles, capturing the different buffet lines, catching beautiful intimate moments between us and our guests, even getting right in the middle of our Greek dance circle. It was amazing! She was so sweet and generous with her time and efforts. Watching the footage back, she truly captured every special moment we could remember from that night and so many we didn’t even know were happening. Her style is simple, classic, and focused on the special personal moments. My husband and I are so grateful for Fen!
