Hi, I’m Layla—owner of The Day-of, LLC. I started The Day-of, to offer behind-the-scenes leadership that is calm, clear, collaborative and contingency-ready. With over 16 years of experience across weddings, private events, and corporate programs, I’ve led more than 200 events with a focus on guest experience, vendor management, and precise execution. Before founding The Day-of, I managed workplace programs in Silicon Valley, where I honed my skills in risk management, time-sensitive coordination, and thoughtful communication. My approach is equal parts hospitality and operational strategy, so your event runs smoothly because it’s built to.

With a background in venue coordination, I understand what’s needed behind the scenes from vendor flow to OSHA standards. That insight helps me anticipate details others may not think to consider, ensuring seamless execution.

My signature service bridges the gap between day-of coordination and full planning. All packages include the same 60-day planning support, which includes vendor communication, floor/seating maps, a master timeline, rehearsal guidance, and a curated planning dashboard upon booking. This dashboard is designed to organize your documents, decisions, and vendor touchpoints from day one. The only difference is the number of on-site hours I'm onsite.

Our Day-of Coordination packages are designed to scale with your events. Whether you need just the essentials or full-day support, each option includes month-of planning starting 60 days before your wedding with me as your dedicated coordinator to keep everything running smoothly.

For couples who don’t need full planning but could use expert guidance in a few key areas, that’s tailored to you. These services are ideal for creating a detailed wedding-day timeline, reviewing vendor contracts, mapping out your floor plan, or finalizing logistics before the big day. This lets you book professional planning help by the task or by the hour — perfect for couples who want experienced support without a full coordination package.

Our Elopement and Micro Wedding packages are designed for intimate celebrations without sacrificing support. Whether you're planning a quiet city hall ceremony or a small gathering in the hills, each package includes timeline planning, vendor coordination, and on-site management to ensure your day runs seamlessly
