I offer a full range of customized wedding and event services, Consulting, full service, day of, officiating, and decorating. I work with your budget to create a truly memorable celebration. ​ I have over fifteen years experience and couldn't imagine doing anything else. I started as a cake decorator and later went back to school for floral design and photography. My desire is to create for you the most unforgettable event. ​

I believe what sets us apart from the rest is how we treat our clients like family. We have created long lasting relationships with many of our past clients and have gone on to do many other events for them as well. We also do not let our clients wait for answers. I understand that you need answers quickly in certain situations and I strive to get any worries taken care of immediately. We always want you to feel like you are in good hands with us.

    Melanie is Fabulous

    Melanie Scott Events was an absolute dream to work with for our sons first communion. From the very first interaction, her communication was fast, informative and assertive, giving us complete peace of mind throughout the planning process. Melanie attention to detail and ability to bring our vision to life was nothing short of perfection. They went above and beyond at every turn, ensuring our Sons day was an absolute dream come true.     Birthday bash winnings

    I first worked with Mel on my wedding, which she absolutely blew it out of the water! So I also hired her to help with my husband’s 40th surprise birthday. It was casino themed! She once again blew it out of the water! The set up was top notch, she answered all my questions and took care of all of my requests! And I didn’t have to worry about clean up either! I highly recommend her for any and all events!

    Would hire again and again!

    Melanie Scott Events was a dream to work with for my daughter's wedding. Melanie was always available and kept in touch throughout the entire process, making sure we were informed and on track every step of the way. We didn't have to worry about anything - Melanie knew the vision my daughter wanted, and everything came together beautifully. They even packed up everything and kept an eye on the envelope box, ensuring we had everything we needed before they left. We used Melanie for my son's wedding as well, and the results were just as stunning. I'd use Melanie Scott Events again in a heartbeat. 5 stars all the way around!

To ensure every couple receives the highest level of attention and service, I only take on one wedding per day. In some cases, I may book multiple weddings in a weekend — but never in a way that compromises the quality, focus, or care each event deserves. Your wedding is my top priority, and I’m fully dedicated to making sure everything runs smoothly and beautifully on your special day.
Yes! I’m proud to work alongside a dedicated family team — my husband and daughter — who play an important role in helping bring each event to life. While I serve as your main point of contact and lead planner throughout the entire process, you’ll also see my husband and daughter assisting with setup, coordination, and guest management on the wedding day. Together, we ensure every detail is handled with care, professionalism, and a personal touch that sets our service apart.
The time we spend together depends on your package. Full-Service includes frequent check-ins, vendor meetings, and ongoing communication. Partial Planning involves monthly or as-needed meetings. Month/Day-of Coordination starts 4–6 weeks before the wedding with 1–2 meetings. No matter your level of service, I’m here to guide you, answer questions, and ensure a smooth, enjoyable planning experience.
