I’m Tara, owner and lead manager of Engaged Event Management. I am a naturally-curly, red-headed, music loving, list making guru as a well as a wife to an IT ninja and a momma to two vivacious little girls. On top of my years of experience working as an event manager I also hold a BS in business as well as a professional certification in wedding planning and consulting from Temple University. I have close to 10 years of experience in this wild and crazy wedding industry that I love.

I absolutely love what I do and we are total team players come your wedding day! We go above and beyond for our wedding couples and fellow wedding pros too! My passion for bringing people together and my love of the logistics behind what that entails has been present throughout my entire life. I am ecstatic to have found my niche in event management, and I cannot wait to serve you.

Our name says it all! We specialize in event management and are completely engaged to your event! We take the stress out of those final details leading up to your wedding day allowing you to kick back and enjoy the last bit of planning and then feel completely relaxed and at ease on the big day! From rehearsal assistance to set up and breakdown and everything in between that happens on your wedding day - we got you!

With micro weddings becoming all the rage and honestly we hope they stay as we just adore them! But just because the wedding guest count isn't in the triple digits doesn't mean there isn't still a boat load of planning and logistics to think about! We are absolutely here help make sure everything is executed exactly the way you have been dreaming!

    Seamless wedding and two receptions!

    Tara and Mady did such an amazing job with our ceremony and TWO receptions. Everything ran so smoothly and on time (!) and the guests had a fabulous time, with many saying it was the best wedding they've been to! Tara and Mady were attentive to details from the beginning of our conversations and we had an open line of communication with them every step of the way. My husband and I both did a lot of our own planning so we bought the partial planning package. It really made the last few months completely stress free for everyone! They came to all the venue walk-throughs and contacted vendors for us. Cannot thank the Engaged team enough for their expertise and helping us bring everything together for our wedding.

    Most excellent wedding coordinator

    Tara was a pleasure to work with and kept everything on track throughout the entire process of planning my daughter’s wedding . Having a home wedding has a lot of moving parts and Tara’s knowledge and connections were invaluable in helping us plan and execute a most memorable and lovely wedding. There were so many details to manage and Tara handled them with grace, expertise and kindness and never wavered in her ability as a most excellent wedding coordinator. I interviewed a lot of different people and I instantly connected with Tara and her positive, cheerful attitude and willingness to help in whatever way we needed. Each and every vendor that she suggested did an amazing job and her resources were amazing! She also cheered us on and guided us every step of the way!     The best decision we made while wedding planning

    Tara was the absolute best decision we made while planning our wedding. Her and her team were attentive, sweet, funny, and amazingly easy to work with. She went above and beyond anything we could have asked for and I highly recommend her for any event planning!

    Tara is the Best of the Best!

    Tara and her team members were absolutely incredible from start to finish. Their communication, organization, and attention to detail made our entire wedding day (and the days leading up to it) feel seamless and stress-free. Every detail was handled perfectly, and they kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so we could actually enjoy the day.
