Smooth Like Clyde

Smooth Like Clyde (SLC) is Central PA's hottest, award-winning cover band! We bring the party to every wedding we play! As a diverse, 5-piece band, we cover hits from the 70's to today including Funk, R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock, Pop and Country. Planning is important, so we work closely with couples to put together an agenda for your day and make your wedding day experience perfect and hassle free! We can provide MC services and DJ services for cocktail hour, dinner and the reception. Additionally, we can provide live sound for the wedding ceremony if it's outdoors or in a building that doesn't provide you with audio reinforcement.

In 2019, SLC won Susquehanna Style Magazine's "Best Cover Band" award, Harrisburg Magazine's "Simpy the Best Readers' Choice" award and the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame's "Best Cover Band" award. Although 2020 was short-lived for live entertainment, SLC also won Harrisburg Magazine's "Simply the Best" award again, and we are nominated again for "Best Cover Band" by the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame (the winner has yet to be announced due to Covid delaying the award show).

    To all the guys in Smooth Like Clyde a huge thank you from the entire family you were absolutely fantastic! We had a great day and the music was out of this world. You had everyone on the dance floor all night. Everyone has commented on how good the band was and asked for your details! We wanted to say thank you for an amazing night's entertainment.     Smooth Like Clyde is an extremely professional and talented band! They are experienced and easy to communicate with to help plan great wedding reception entertainment. They worked well with other vendors, stayed on the timeline and rolled with the punches to pull off a flawless reception with great emceeing and the type of music we requested.     One of our first calls after my wife and I got engaged was to Smooth Like Clyde to ensure they were available for our wedding date. Luckily for us they were available because they brought the party that MADE our reception! I can't say enough about these guys as they are all top notch level talent and are fun, personable and professional. My friends still talk about them and how much fun they had dancing all night at our reception. I highly recommend them for your wedding or any other fun event you are planning!

    SLC did our wedding in 2016. When we got engaged, before calling family, I reached out to SLC to book our date! This is how amazing they are. Not only do they display professionalism, they create an atmosphere you and your guest will never forget. You will be missing out if you don’t book them for your wedding!
