Nicole Lang founded lo-fi events in 2021 with the intention of connecting with others to create memorable, non-fussy experiences that reflect their authentic selves and the people they love. For many of her clients, the blueprint doesn’t exist for the wedding, party, or community event they’ve envisioned. From consultation to planning to execution, she is sought after for the humor, organized intention, and elevated sensibility she brings to events big and small.

Whether it’s a Jewish-ish celebration on a Wisconsin pizza farm or a black-tie dinner reception with Dairy Queen ice cream cake for dessert, no vision is too eccentric, thanks to Nicole’s unique mix of thorough organization and her whimsical, irreverent eye for design.

    Nicole made our day absolutely perfect

    Nicole was our wedding coordinator for our wedding in February of 2026. She was immensely helpful along the way - even before she was “officially” coordinating she stepped in with recommendations, questions, templates, ideas, and so much more. The calls we had with her the weeks leading up to the wedding helped to identify our key moments, organization of vendors, and overall eased all of our worries for the weekend. As Nicole had collected her information and communicated effectively ahead of time, on our wedding day she did not ask us a single question - from decor setup to vendor coordination everything ran seamlessly with her at the helm. Nicole came highly recommended to us from a friend, and I highly highly recommend her as well! I would also note that we thought Nicole’s rates were very reasonable while planning, and with the success of our wedding weekend behind us I can say it was the best money we spent among all the wedding costs.

    The absolute BEST!

    Nicole delivered a perfect party with zero stress. She was thoughtful and considerate but more than willing to push us in the right direction with the kind “that is not necessary” or “you need x”. She also worked flawlessly with the other vendors that we used - coordinating everyone while minimizing the work or headache for us. As someone who can get overwhelmed with options and making decisions, she was the perfect guide to making the planning process as seamless as possible. Hiring Nicole was one the best investments we made for this event! Would 1000% recommend her.

    Hire Nicole!!

    Nicole helped me and my husband plan and enjoy the most memorable & important day! She is a consistent communicator, with thoughtful recommendations and great taste. Our day would not have been nearly as "cool" or well-executed without Nicole's expertise and energy.
