I am a photographer based out of Indianapolis and have 18 years of professional photography experience. In my experience, trends come and go. What matters most is the genuine emotions and connections to the people that surround your wedding day. I have photographed over 400 weddings, and what I appreciate more than ever, are the real moments that happen on every wedding day. Those moments will never be replicated. It is important to choose a photographer that you not only trust to capture those moments, but will enjoy sharing that space with you as they do.

My style is a blend of documentary and editorial inspired approaches. My editing style gravitates towards true to life color and tones that mesh with the given environment. I guide and direct as needed to allow for moments to naturally unfold. The goal is to capture images that are not only beautiful, but genuinely you. The most enjoyable wedding day experiences come from everyone knowing the plan and being on the same page before your big day. I work with you to create a plan that allows you to enjoy your day while capturing all the moments you wish to capture.

    BOOK WITH STEPHEN

    Stephen was absolutely incredible as our wedding and engagement photographer. From our very first shoot, he made everything feel so seamless, comfortable, and natural. He has such an incredible eye for capturing beautiful moments, but what truly sets him apart is the care and thoughtfulness he brings to the experience. Our wedding day was honestly a difficult one for me for various reasons, and I also wasn’t feeling well throughout the day. Stephen went above and beyond—not only as our photographer, but as someone who genuinely cared about how I was doing. He continuously checked in on me, made sure I was okay, and was completely understanding when we needed to adjust our photography timeline based on how I was feeling. He never made me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing him. Instead, he adapted everything so we could take care of me while still capturing the most incredible photos. And somehow, despite everything, he delivered absolutely amazing images that we will cherish forever. He made what could have been a stressful part of the day feel effortless, and I am so grateful we had him there with us.     The Best Photographer we could have asked for!

    If I could give Stephen more than 5 stars, I would! Stephen took both our engagement photos and our wedding, and I truly cannot recommend him enough. My husband and I are both so awkward in front of the camera, and we were nervous about our engagement session, especially since it was 29 degrees in Indianapolis! Stephen made us feel completely comfortable, and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful. On our wedding day, we had an Indian ceremony in the morning, a Western ceremony in the evening, and a reception afterward, all on a very tight timeline. Stephen was incredibly organized, professional, and calm. He kept everything running smoothly, made sure I looked my best (including fixing my veil!), and we have so many gorgeous photos all without feeling rushed! The photos are absolutely beautiful, and I'm completely in love with them. Stephen is an amazing photographer but I also felt that he really cared. He was a joy to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

    Best decision ever!

    My partner and I hadn’t had professional photos taken since we were teenagers about two decades ago, so we were both pretty nervous and awkward in front of the camera! Stephen made us feel comfortable right away, and the whole session felt so easy. The photos turned out absolutely amazing, and we couldn’t be happier! We’re so grateful!

Yes! Though I am very comfortable capturing most weddings solo, there are many advantages to adding a 2nd photographer to your wedding day coverage.
All images in your delivered gallery will be edited to my standard of quality. This will typically include the adjustment of colors, tones, cropping, and overall style.
A selected number of highlighted images will typically be delivered within 2 weeks of your wedding date. Your entire wedding gallery will typically be delivered within 8 weeks of your wedding date.
I aim to deliver around 100 edited images for each hour of coverage. For a typical wedding day, you can expect around 800 edited images.
In my experience, most wedding days can be captured within 8 hours of coverage. Extra time might be needed when your day involves traveling to multiple location. Another reason for more time might be to capture your reception send off. I will work with you to make an efficient photography timeline that also allows for time to be present and enjoy your wedding day!
