Hi, I'm Kara, the woman behind Camellia Co. With years of experience in wedding and event planning, I've learned that the most beautiful celebrations are the ones that truly feel like you. My passion is to work with my clients to create weddings and special celebrations that reflect your love, your style, and the story you share, while keeping the process stress-free and enjoyable.

What sets my business apart is the care and connection I bring to every celebration. I work closely with each couple to understand their style and what truly matters to them so the day feels personal and effortless. My approach is calm, organized, and genuinely supportive which helps couples feel at ease from the first meeting to the final moment of their event. I treat every wedding as if it were my own and I’m committed to creating a smooth joyful experience from start to finish.

    May 2026 Wedding

    We worked with Kara from Camellia Co. Events for our wedding, and she was honestly amazing. We hired her as our “month-of” coordinator. Leading up to the wedding, she was super easy to communicate with and always quick to respond. She was so patient and helpful every single time, and I always felt like she genuinely cared and wanted to help however she could. She also worked with our budget and was very reasonable and flexible, which we really appreciated. On the wedding day, Kara was calm, organized, and made sure everything ran smoothly. We didn’t have to stress about anything, which made such a huge difference—we were actually able to relax and truly enjoy the day. Multiple people commented afterward on how calm I was and how beautiful the wedding was (and that I was not a bridezilla at all ). I truly believe that peace came from God—He gave both me and my husband such a sense of calm that day. And honestly, Kara felt like such a Godsend in that process. Knowing she had everything handled behind the scenes made it so easy to just be present and soak it all in. Hiring Kara was easily one of the best decisions we made. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for the best wedding coordinator around!

    Camellia Co. is 10/10!

    I just want to say how much I appreciated the work Kara and her assistant did for me on my wedding day. She was always available when I had a question or wanted her opinion on design, she had excellent recommendations for local vendors (especially for floral!), and most of all she is an extremly strong communicator that advoacted for me when a few of the other vendors I hired were a little less communicative. Please, please, please reach out to Kara is you are looking for a coordinator who cares deeply about her clients... love you girl!

    Kara was spectacular!

    Camellia Co. was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding! From the moment we first spoke with Kara, their communication style was uplifting, empathetic, and straightforward. I have worked in the wedding and event planning and coordination business for several years and have done literally hundreds of weddings and events! They have ranged from small 20 person weddings to lavish events with 250+ people and everything in between! The events I love the most are the ones that are really personal and reflective of the couple so that is my mission in working with my own clients. I am determined to help make the day about you and your love so you can look back on that day with joy for the rest of your lives!
The answer is yes and no! I am a solo planner who will be your main point of contact through our entire planning and day of process but I do have my lovely husband along side me! He himself has years of experience in service driven roles and he assists me on the day of the event to help make sure all the bases are covered and running perfectly.
I sure do! I can and have planned and run rehearsal dinners, showers, birthday and anniversary parties and corporate events! Basically, if there is an event to be planned, I will take it on with the same passion and focus as I do for the weddings I work on.
I will never take on multiple weddings (or any other events) in a single day. That day is 100% focused on you (as it should be!). As for multiple events in a single weekend, I do take on multiple events as long as I can still provide the same level of service and focus for each couple. My schedule should never impact your experience on your wedding day!
