It was on the cross street of Beacon and Berkeley over a decade ago when the owner, Amanda, discovered Isabella Gardner. Isabella, once described as a “fairy in a machine shop,” was known as a philanthropist, who marched to the beat of her own drum. Often serving champagne with donuts, throwing large art galas, and attending Red Sox games, Isabella’s quirky spirit, and huge heart has become an inspiration in the Beacon and Berkeley brand. We believe in more than planning.

Founder Amanda McCabe has been in the event business for over a decade. She credits her background in catering, venue management, and floral and event rentals to her creative approach to design. Amanda has made the company’s goal to work with the client to prioritize, plan and execute both in terms of logistics and design aesthetics in a manner that is authentic to the client. Today, Beacon and Berkeley are proud to be involved with various animal, veteran, and children’s charities, and to extend invitations to all of our couples to join in with charitable events we are a part of.
