Monica Patricio Photography is a New York City–based wedding photography studio serving couples throughout New York, New Jersey, and select destinations. My style blends refined editorial direction with natural storytelling, creating photographs that feel romantic, elegant, and genuinely lived. I believe your wedding day should never feel like a photoshoot. My approach is to offer thoughtful guidance when needed while giving you the space to be fully present with the people you love. From quiet in-between moments to beautifully composed portraits, I document the day with intention so your photographs feel both elevated and deeply personal for years to come.

What sets me apart is the balance between direction and presence. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I never want your wedding day to feel overly posed or performative. My approach blends editorial composition with natural storytelling, so your photographs feel elevated and intentional while still looking and feeling like you. I pay attention to the in-between moments just as much as the portraits, and I build the photography around your experience of the day not the other way around. The result is a gallery that feels romantic, refined, and deeply personal, without taking you away from the people and moments that matter most.

    Photography Review for Monica Patricio

    Monica is the BEST! From meeting her the first time at our engagement shoot to our wedding day, she was professional, energetic, detailed, and made both of us feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Monica is intentional with her planning, provided us with a questionnaire to make sure we got all of the photos we wanted, and delivers STUNNING photos. I was blown away just by our sneak peak and am so excited to see the rest of the photos from our wedding day. Thank you again, Monica!

    Monica and team are the best!

    I am so grateful that we chose to book Monica for our wedding day! Not only is she an absolute expert at wedding photography, but she is so kind, personable, professional, and truly cares about her couples. From our first phone call with her all the way through receiving our final photos, we only had positive interactions with her. She was so attentive to my husband and I on our big day, even helping with things beyond photography when I had issues with my bridal attendant. All of our photos - engagement, sneak peeks, full wedding albums - were absolutely stunning and we treasure the memories Monica has helped us to capture.     Best Wedding Photographer!!!

    Monica is the absolute best. From the initial meeting with her she really listened to us so she can understand our style and also help us step out of our comfort zone with taking so many pictures! She came to the wedding day so prepared and ready for the long day! She kept everything on schedule and was very respectful of our videographer shooters which is a huge plus to not have to worry about. She made the day so special and delivered us a ton of sneak peaks within a week. Her work is STUNNING! I would choose Monica every time!!! It was an absolute pleasure working with her.

    Best Wedding Photographer!

    Monica was the best wedding photographer we could have hoped for! She is extremely kind, patient, and of course talented! She captured all of the moments of our special day beautifully and made sure we got photos with all of the people we wanted and kept us on schedule throughout the day. She was truly a pleasure to work with and we were so incredibly happy with our photos and the experience working with her :) there are too many amazing photos to even choose our favorites!

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra. I also work with a second photographer.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. But I can recommend for you some amazing videographers if needed.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a customised Online gallery with all your high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
