At Gruber Photographers, we are inspired by one simple truth, “A moment is defined not only by its subject but also by the effect it has on those who share it.” We believe life’s milestones deserve to be photographed with this in mind. Every detail large and small. Every feeling from only the right angles. From the behind-the-scenes preparations to the spotlighted celebrations. Un-scripted, un-posed and nothing like traditional wedding photography.

Drawing on owner and founder, Terry Gruber's, extensive background in fine arts and film-making, Gruber Photographers pioneered the stylistic shift to “event photojournalism” 29 years ago. Ever since each handpicked team member has advanced the discipline. Our photographers explore new formats, styles, and setups in order to strike the perfect visual tone for each assignment and project in order to uncover a richer, more human depth to tell a story that will only improve with time. All is accomplished with a light-footed presence that puts our clients at ease, allowing them to more fully inhabit the big moments in their lives.

    Gruber Photographers were fantastic in photographing my 'Surprise Proposal'. Terry was great at organising quickly and efficiently, and putting me in touch with the photographer for the big day -- Olga. Olga was also great, and the photos she took were fantastic and just what we wanted. She helped me find the perfect location for the proposal and the spots for extra photos afterwards. I had never been to New York before, so it was really useful to have advice on where the best spots would be. On the day everything went really smoothly, and Olga was very understanding when we arrived slightly later than planned. I really wanted some photos under a cherry blossom tree, and Olga managed to find seemingly the only cherry blossom in bloom in Central Park. The photos look amazing, and we are very happy with how they turned out. It is really nice to be able to share the special moment with our family and friends with these photographs. I would definitely recommend Gruber Photographers!

    It's hard to put into words how incredible Gruber Photographers are! From our first meeting, sending us little packages leading up to our wedding, to staying in contact after our wedding, they amazing to work with. The photos speak for themselves, they are simply stunning and timeless - I know I will love looking at them for years to come! They helped us think about every detail leading up to the wedding and made great suggestions when needed. Were flexible with their packages - we had her come to our rehearsal dinner instead of doing an engagement session. On the day of our wedding, they made us feel comfortable and that we could really be ourselves. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have worked with you guys!
