I thought I would share with you what 'Alessarro' means. 'Ales' ... taken from Alessio ... my mother's family name & 'sarro' ... taken from DiSarro ... my father's family name Growing up I was very fortunate to be close to both sides of my family. So why not name my business after the people the helped mold me into the woman that I am today. I am also forever indebted to many of them for stepping up to be a model as I cultivated my artistic ability. Ashley is a Brooklyn-based makeup artist and hairstylist; the creative force behind Alessarro Beauty.

With experience in the beauty industry since 2004, she is dedicated to enhancing her clients’ natural beauty and ensuring they feel confident and radiant. Although Ashley is well-versed in a variety of makeup styles, she is particularly drawn to and frequently requested for natural beauty looks. She lives by the belief that “makeup should never walk in the room before you.” From the very beginning of her career, Ashley’s passion for beauty drove her to earn both her cosmetology and esthetician licenses—a commitment that continues to inform her professional approach today.

Bridal Makeup

Description

Bridal services are allotted a full hour. This allows plenty of time for you to get comfortable in the chair and for us to address any skincare needs that may have come up in the days leading up to your big day. Not only that but to be sure we have nailed your desired look. This application includes proper skincare, daily wear lash application, and a detailed customized look we have created together.

Guest Makeup

Description

    Working with Ashley is a dream - her ability to bring vision, style and a natural glow to life is unparalleled. As a wedding photographer, I can attest that her artistry resonates not only in person but on camera, making everyone look their absolute best in the images that will last a lifetime.     Cannot recommend Ashley enough!

    Ashley and her team were truly amazing to work with. Kind, attentative, and really creating an atmosphere of calm as my wedding party and I got ready. I was obsessed with my hair and makeup- it was precise but not over the top.

    Ashley is a wedding day must have!

    I cannot recommend Ashley enough. She did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my wedding day! She was patient, relaxed and really listened, working with me to create the perfect look for my special day. She was very professional and organized putting me at ease before the wedding and on the day of she was able to keep me relaxed and laughing with her great personality. A definitely must have on your wedding day!

    So talented and so sweet!

    I absolutely love working with Ashley. One of the most telling things I can say about her work (that I can't say for everyone's) is that the faces she produces look as fresh, dewy, and natural in person as they do on film and in print. Ashley is very chill and makes both clients and collaborators feel right at home. Her process is relaxed, professional, and luxurious without feeling pretentious. She's up-to-date on all of the Covid recommendations and certifications and checks in with everyone involved about their level of comfort. I also love to listen to her bonding with and educating clients as she works! Finally, I can't stress enough how important it is that Ashley is *the real deal* when it comes to inclusivity. She actively works to expand her tool kit and can handle all kinds of skin tones, types, ages, and textures. She seeks to represent a wide variety of people with her portfolio and she's culturally competent. As a vendor of color, I feel confident sending all of my clients her way because I know they'll be treated with respect, dignity, and integrity.

    I loved working with Ashley and her team at Alessaro Beauty for our September 2021 wedding. Our wedding was affected by COVID-19 and we ended up shifting our date to over a year out. Ashley was extremely accommodating and worked with us to update the contract to our new date without hassle. I met with Ashley and her hair stylist, Zuleika, for a trial a month or so before the wedding. It was a great opportunity to meet in person, talk about the wedding vision, and get to know them better to ultimately feel more comfortable on the day. I was initially drawn to Ashley because she not only does weddings, but also high fashion, film & TV, and other events in NYC, which was important to me for a chic look. She has such extensive product knowledge + expertise, and as a makeup/skincare lover myself, I really enjoyed talking through all the products she was using. The makeup trial wasn’t exactly what I had in mind, so we discussed alternatives and shared reference photos via email to nail down the final look. To start, Ashley did my and my sister’s makeup for the rehearsal dinner, which was stunning and got us excited to kick off the weekend. On the day of the wedding, Ashley and her team arrived on time and were a joy to have getting ready in the bridal suite. They did hair and makeup for not only myself and 6 bridesmaids, but also my mother, MIL, and SIL, so it was a tall order and they absolutely nailed it. I was OBSESSED with my final bridal look - I loved the false eyelashes and the gorgeous Mac lipstick (which Ashley gifted so I could reapply throughout the day). I truly felt like a show-stopping bride and the absolute best version of myself. We arranged for Ashley to stay throughout the first look, ceremony, and the start of the reception to do a few touch ups, which honestly was the best decision to keep me looking gorg all day and night. At the end of the experience, Ashley proved to be more like a friend than a vendor. She is so kind, enthusiastic, and truly has a passion for what she does, which shines through every interaction. I highly recommend Ashley and her team at Alessaro Beauty for your wedding or event.
