A magician of floral design
Everything about wedding planning made sense once I met Ivan! I had talked to a few florists and was feeling pretty defeated in my search. I was drawn to Ivan's work based on his portfolio but after the very first call, it was clear that his passion, creativity, and attention to detail would make any vision come to life. He managed to translate my handful of pinterest images to a fairytale dream, with all the uniqueness to go with a Lower East Side wedding. He made magic, from the bouquet to the center pieces to the ceremony arch built into the venue pillars. A particular stand out of this full process was organizing the table scape between the florals and candle design. From a single inspo image, he managed to fill the room with so much whimsy, color, and warmth. I can't recommend Floral Studio enough! Thank you so much Ivan!

Incredibly talented florist, perfect execution
I worked with Ivan for our 40 person reception / dinner. From the first moment we reached out, he instantly got our vision and I made very minimal edits to the proposal. He was extremely responsive and prompt and professional. I could tell he was a cut above not only in terms of design aesthetic, but also in his professionalism compared to all the other florists I spoke to. His choice of flowers were all exquisite, it’s like he was telepathic and just knew all my favorite We got an amazing statement arrangement and lush, beautiful bud vases of varying heights and colors for our tablescapes. The day of, Ivan and a teammate arrived early to set up, and were so gracious when our venue had some logistical hiccups and stayed a little later than anticipated to finish the setup without complaint. I will definitely be hiring Ivan / Floral Stud.io again in the future for events I’m hosting, and recommending him to all my friends

Incredible work, incredible vendor
I searched high and low for a florist within our budget that was also creative and I cannot recommend Ivan Gilkes of floralstud.io enough. See his instagram for his style. Wedding: Wythe Hotel January 2026 90 guests Total cost: 2300 After other florists ghosted me, Ivan came back to us with a proposal within days, and it was more perfect than we could have imagined. The colors, textures, shapes were all so playful without ever being showy--very much like the wow of an extremely cool flower or branch you see while walking in the woods. You just have to take a second look. Seeing the end result on Saturday blew us away. The ceremony arrangement exploded at the front of the hall like the warmest winter sunshine. The curly wire he incorporated into the bud vases DELIGHTED me. The boutonnieres were elegant and lighthearted. We went home and pressed some of the flowers in my bridal bouquet to put in our scrapbook. Beyond the aesthetics, Ivan is just wonderful to work with. He helped us with so many details that made the room come together and coordinating with him was seamless. If you have the chance to work with Ivan, please do. I truly recommend him for any kind of event--he is so talented.

Wedding flowers
Ivan provided four arrangements for our welcome dinner the night before the wedding and they were absolutely beautiful. He was so helpful and easy to work with, and did a great job of running with my vision and turning it into something that cohered and worked perfectly with our venue (an old deli / lunch counter). The flowers looked different from typical wedding arrangements and really felt like us. I highly recommend Ivan's services!

Perfect boutonnières
Ivan made incredible boutonnières for myself and my spouse for our wedding dinner. He was very creative in the presentation, easy to communicate with, and most importantly, really got the tone right for our occasion. I would definitely work with him again! Thank you, Ivan!
