    1000% would recommend

    Mekennah is amazing. Not only is she professional and great at what she does, she goes above and beyond to make sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. We had several meetings leading up to the day of the wedding to discuss all the shots we were looking for, mood, style, etc., schedule, and even taking into consideration family dynamics. Her priority is you and your partner. She consistently checked in with us to make sure we were doing okay and during such a stressful day, she was a source of comfort. Mekennah captured every moment so beautifully - you can truly see and feel the emotions through her photographs. And she does a particularly great job of capturing the candid moments - those are some of our favorite photos. AND her turn around time is so quick! We received sneak peak photos within a week and got the rest of the photos the next month! I could not have asked for a better photographer.

    Mekennah is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!

    Mekennah is absolutely incredible!! She’s one of the most thoughtful and kind human beings I’ve ever met on top of being an absolutely incredible photographer. We were lucky enough to have her with us at our wedding in Bali and could not have asked for a better experience! Our photos are absolutely beautiful! Definitely recommend her if you’re looking for someone local or someone for your destination wedding.

    Book with Onward Photography!

    Mekennah shot our wedding in 2022. She made us feel comfortable and really captured who we are as a couple. We are always getting compliments on our photos from our wedding day! They are so so special and breath taking. Definitely recommend booking with Mekennah for any photography needs!

    So creative and so kind!

The short answer is no but here's why: I consider shooting your wedding only a small portion of what I offer. A huge part of the time spent curating a wedding gallery is the editing process. I work hard to be proud of what artwork is selected and put out into the world. My biggest goal is to give you my absolute best! RAW photos are simply unfinished artwork.
Sneak peeks will be sent out within 24-48 hours of our session or event. Wedding or elopement galleries will be finished and sent out within 8-10 weeks. Smaller sessions such as engagement, will be delivered within 14 days. All galleries are delivered on an online, shareable gallery called Pic-Time.
Don't sweat the small stuff! After booking your sessions, I send out a guide of all you'll need to know that includes suggestions on what to wear. This guide is for smaller sessions only. I'm a firm believer that you need to wear whatever the hell you want on your wedding day!
You can add on anything after the fact! Some au la carte offerings for any wedding package include bridal sessions, boudoir sessions, rehearsal dinner coverage, welcome party coverage, second shooters, videography, and more.
You will receive your contract and invoice via Honeybook. A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to book any session or event. I offer payment plans for any large event. Payments can be made by debit, credit, or wire transfer via Honeybook.
Please submit an inquiry with Zola or on my website. I will get back to you within 24-48 hours. Then you will be prompted to schedule a virtual consultation. After getting to know each other on our call, it's time to finalize our agreement with a contract, deposit, and the exciting part, moving on to the planning process!
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Yes! I personally focus on photography only during your wedding day. However, I have a team of trusted associate photographers and videographers who can be added to your wedding day coverage team upon request.
You can expect about 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In all my years of experience, this has never happened. It is included in all of my contracts that if I cannot attend a shoot or wedding, I find a replacement from a team of associate shooters to cover for me. The associate shooters on my team are all photographers I know and trust. They would hypothetically shoot your event and I would still edit the gallery.
