I studied floral design in Paris and NYC and specialize in whimsical floral arrangements and installations. My floral artistry is informed by my previous career creating costume accessories for celebrity clientele and sculptural art pieces.

My artistic vision and spirit are actualized through my floral pieces — I provide my clients with an ephemeral experience that is custom tailored to elevate and enhance the sanctity and vibrancy of their love.

Wildly Talented Floral Artist…a Dream to Work With
We got married at Eataly in NYC with a Sicilian theme, which could have been a hard space to work with - a very large grocery store. Cherri at Firebird of Paradise nailed it immediately — her first design boards were better than anything we’d imagined, and then the actual day somehow topped those. What surprised me most was how easy the process was to work with her. She listened, she asked good questions, and when we were inspired by an idea, she brought it to life! If we were unsure of something, she made it easy to redirect the vision and learn from it without any ego. She always came back with something better. I never once felt like I was managing her or explaining myself twice. This was the most fun part of our planning process!!! She really embraced the location as a theme and worked citrus, grapes and dried pasta into the arrangements. I know how that sounds. It was not cheesy — it was gorgeous, and it was the thing people wouldn’t stop talking about. She read the room at Eataly instead of ignoring it, which I think is why everything felt like it belonged there. Guests still comment about her work. Book her! She makes incredibly memorable experiences. She’ll care about your wedding day as much as you do!

Standard flowers vs. Cherri’s works of art
If you are looking for a wedding florist who will completely blow you and your guests away, hire Cherri immediately! From our very first conversation, she listened so closely to my vision and translated it into something even better than I could have imagined. These were not your basic, run-of-the-mill wedding flower arrangements—they were literal works of art. Cherri created the most gorgeous, sculptured floral designs that took everyone’s breath away. Throughout the night, our guests couldn't stop complimenting them, and even the venue staff mentioned how impressed they were with her work. Beyond her unbelievable talent - look at her instagram-, Cherri is an absolute professional and a dream to work with. I cannot recommend her enough!
