Devail and Nikki at 196 Events NO Boring Receptions Guaranteed! were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Their communication style was easy, comfortable, and fast, which put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work and value was truly fantastic - they are clearly skilled, adaptable, and passionate about what they do. A few examples of how they contributed to our special day: their easy-to-use music planning app made selecting our ceremony and reception songs a breeze, and Devail's kind personality helped calm our ceremony jitters. Devail and Nikki are such amazing people and business partners - they made everything easy from the consultation to the wedding day, and they definitely delivered on their promise of "No Boring Receptions." We partied all night long!

We just had our wedding this past weekend at The Gala 417 Events and 196 Events was AMAZING! They made it so easy to prep in advance; we were able to provide our song selections, logistics, and preferences using an online app. The day itself was perfect! We booked 196 Events as a DJ and had their photobooth. They were so professional and fun, and the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and speeches went beautifully. Devail even easily adjusted when we threw a couple of audibles at him. AND THEN THE DANCE FLOOR!!!!! People were having a blast and I don't think my husband and I stopped dancing. Song order, transitions, and choices were seamless and kept everyone going. The photobooth was also a huge hit with people and made a great favor. I cannot recommend them enough for your wedding or other event!

196 Events was awesome to work with, and we would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for DJ services! They were extremely communicative and responded to every random question we had very promptly. I don’t think there were any issues all night with the microphones or music–everyone was audible and the music was great! I was very particular about what songs I wanted to have playing everywhere other than the dancing part of the reception, and they were able to play the songs I wanted and then find fun songs to encourage dancing during the reception! The website/app they use to help plan out the wedding timeline and associated music/mic needs was super easy to use and made it easy to keep everything straight. Devail and Nikki were both very, very kind people, and very fun and easy to work with! We also used their photo booth services, which was super fun for both us and our guests. We got all of the pictures sent to us digitally also, which have been a blast to look back through. And on top of ALL of that – they also worked with my now-husband to help him sing and play a surprise song for me on a keyboard! Nikki and Devail, thank you both so much for helping to make our wedding such a fun and memorable experience!!

We cannot express enough about how much we enjoyed having Devail and Nikki as our DJ duo for our wedding! They most certainly delivered on their promise of No Boring Receptions and has us and our friends dancing all night! They guided the ceremony and reception with ease, and handled any time hiccups that came up without any fuss, making it a less anxious time for all. The planning suite they use is extremely easy to navigate and set s everyone up for success leading up to the big day! A little something that stood out: Our pastor that officiated our wedding is retired and had not done a wedding in 6 years, and it was the first one he had done without his wife of 57 years there with him. Devail and Nikki took time out of their busy schedule to share some video footage with our pastor so that he could show his wife. Talk about making it a personal experience!! They did this sort of thing throughout the whole process of working with them. We know this is a long review, but long story short, We cannot recommend their services enough. HIRE THEM!!!!
