    Would recommend Evan!

    Evan did a beautiful job with our ceremony. He covered everything from the value of love, to religious aspects, to some humor. It was a great balance. He also was very helpful on the legal side of getting the marriage license and what to do after the wedding to get it filed!

    Professional, Kind, and Calming

    Evan was an amazing and unforgettable part of our wedding. Our guests loved his voice and the ceremony he created just for us using details we provided. His professionalism was appreciated and his calm demeanor helped keep us on track during our ceremony as well.     Exactly what we wanted!

    We had an intimate elopement on March 6th with just me, my husband, our dog, a photographer, and Evan as our officiant. Evan made the entire process completely seamless. He is a great communicator from the start and asked thoughtful, detailed questions to personalize our ceremony. He also provided great vendor recommendations. I ended up using one of his suggested photographers, which made everything even easier. On the day, Evan was professional, engaging, and created a beautiful, meaningful ceremony just for us. We truly appreciated his guidance and support, and we can’t recommend him enough!

    Evan was fantastic

    As we evaluated potential officiants, it was important to us to talk to them to get a sense of their style and vibe. When we spoke to Evan, we knew we were on the right path. He took the time to help us understand his style and how he would present the ceremony as well as understand the differences in his pricing structure. We chose the option that includes an in-person meeting a few weeks before the wedding. That was so clutch. I think we met for almost 2 hours. He really took the time to get to know us, both with asking direct questions about our story as well as learning what we wanted to include or not include in the ceremony. Leaving that meeting, we were confident we had made a good selection. He was professional but relaxed and because he really took time to get to know us, we felt confident that he was going to deliver a the type of ceremony we wanted with the right combination of solemnity but also relaxed without being too casual. We also paid for him to come to the rehearsal, again, money well spent. Again, he was so professional and as all those last minute details were coming at us, I felt highly confident that once the ceremony started we would be in good hands. For the actual ceremony I can not only say we were delighted but in fact many of our guests commented positively on Evan. He really delivered. His style was exactly what we wanted: professional but not stiff; he struck the right balance reflecting the solemnity of the occasion but the ceremony clearly reflected our talk beforehand. He seamlessly wove details from what we had shared in such a manner that they flowed with the more scripted parts of the ceremony. At no time did it feel like he was on script and then had a "insert detail here" part- it just flowed and was as if he had custom written it (which in fact he had). We would certainly and without any pause recommend anyone looking for an officiant to work with Evan. He was absolutely fantastic.
