Hi, I'm Nathan. I don't just photograph weddings—I witness them. With a calm, steady presence and deep respect for what you hold sacred, I work without intrusion so you can stay fully present while your day unfolds. I'm drawn to the moments that often pass unnoticed: the breath before the aisle, light spilling through stained glass, a parent's quiet tears as vows are exchanged.

What sets my work apart is that the camera never goes down. Between weddings I'm always photographing—wildlife, astrophotography, landscapes—years of seeing under every kind of light, including work featured in The New York Times. That practice shapes how I read your day: I find the unscripted, meaningful details and preserve them with honesty and lasting intention—photographs meant to be cherished for generations.

    Wonderful to work with!

    Nathan was our wedding photographer, and he's wonderful to work with. He's professional, talented, and has a real gift for capturing stories in every photo. He went above and beyond, even staying later than scheduled to capture a special moment later on in our reception. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for an exceptional photographer.

    Family Photographer

    Nathan has a way of making you feel comfortable and getting those genuine moments. From the first meeting his easy going personality sets the tone for you to plan your vision. He has such a great collaborative process that ensures the photos are a reflection of you. I have now worked with him several times and each time I am blown away by his kindness and warmth. From carrying your grandma’s bag to her chair to making your toddler feel comfortable enough to smile, Nathan goes out of his way to exceed your expectations. He has a natural talent for knowing when to push, getting you to try a new pose or finding a interesting locations or situations. He can expand your comfort zone while still making you feel calm and confident. He was the easiest vender that I worked with at my wedding, always attempting to make life a little easier and our wedding day as stress free as possible. Four years later I still love looking back at our wedding photos and how happy that day was. I was pleasantly surprised to see he capture some of the small moments throughout the day that have become my most cherished memories.

    In a word, stellar.

    Before the wedding, Nathan was attentive and details-oriented as he helped us plan and figure out what photos were the most important to us. He met with us over Zoom and in-person at the venue to walk through the day and provided countless suggestions and tips to make sure the photography and ceremony went smoothly. During the wedding, Nathan took both phenomenal posed photos and brilliant candids. He was a constant presence with a cameras holstered on each hip, like a cowboy with lenses instead of six-shooters. He worked quickly to get us a selection of social-media ready the same day, perfect to share with family across the world who couldn't make it. After the wedding, Nathan's editing and communication skills are top-notch. He even drove out (over an hour!) to take some photos of a sapphire ring of my new wife's - it's a family heirloom she wore during the wedding that she wanted additional photos of. When we tried to pay for these additional photos, he waved us off. Nathan truly went above and beyond the call of duty. In terms of quality, the photos he took are top-notch. We have fantastic posed photos, often with little touches he suggested in the moment to ensure we looked relaxed, smiling, and at our best. His candids are some of my favorite photos in the world and perfectly capture what was a perfect day. Nathan's humor, attention to detail, and devotion to getting every shot right make hiring him one of the best wedding decisions we made. I would heartily recommend hiring Nathan and plan on calling on him if we have photography needs in the future.

I carry full insurance because I take your wedding day—and the trust you place in me—very seriously. My business insurance keeps my LLC protected and meets all industry standards, while my personal equipment insurance covers my gear, whether I’m working or shooting for fun. Your peace of mind (and your venue’s!) is a top priority. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance, just let me know—I’m happy to provide it!
You’ll get a preview of your photos as early as the next day with most packages, so you can start reliving the magic right away! While my contract guarantees delivery within 8 weeks, I typically deliver galleries in 2–4 weeks. I know how important your memories are, so I work hard to deliver them quickly without compromising quality. Plus, I securely store all photos, including undelivered ones, in perpetuity. This ensures your images are safe and accessible for future edits or requests.
Absolutely! Every final image is carefully edited to ensure consistency and quality, with adjustments to color, exposure, sharpness, and more. If you’d like further edits in the future, I’ll always have the original files ready to revisit. Your photos will be polished to look their absolute best and reflect your vision perfectly!
I specialize exclusively in photography to ensure I can give my full attention to capturing your day with the highest quality and care. While I currently do not offer video services, I have had the pleasure of working with many talented videographers and would be happy to recommend professionals who can provide exceptional video coverage!
I take my commitment to your wedding day very seriously and do everything in my power to be present. In my years of experience, I’ve never had to cancel, even foregoing personal moments, like a close friend’s sudden funeral, to honor my responsibility to couples. That said, unforeseen and horrible circumstances can arise. To ensure full coverage, I highly recommend a package with a second photographer for added perspectives and backup equipment. If I can’t attend, I have a trusted network of skilled photographers ready to step in and ensure your day is captured beautifully and seamlessly.
The number of photos you’ll receive depends on the length of your wedding day and the package you choose. On average, I deliver between 75 and 100 fully edited images per hour of coverage. My goal is to capture every meaningful moment, from the big events to the small, intimate details that make your day unique.
I recommend booking as soon as you’ve set your wedding date, especially if it falls during peak wedding season (spring, summer, or fall). Many couples book me 12 to 18 months in advance to secure their date, as my calendar can fill up quickly. That said, if your wedding is sooner, don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m happy to check availability and would love to capture your special day if I’m free!
Absolutely! I love working with assistants and second photographers to ensure your day is captured from every angle. Having a second photographer not only provides additional perspectives but also adds an extra layer of coverage and peace of mind. I’m endlessly curious and always looking for new adventures. I love tacos, a good bourbon, and getting my hands dirty tinkering with projects.
