Hi, I’m Carla, a legally authorized wedding officiant based in the DMV area. I’m all about creating moments that feel genuine and joyful. While I primarily serve DC, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia, I’m always up for an adventure. I’m passport ready and happy to travel wherever love takes you. For couples coming from out of town, I can help set up your elopement, connect you with trusted local vendors, and guide you through the marriage license process so everything feels smooth and stress-free.

I’m not just here to officiate. I’m here to honor your version of love. Every couple I work with has a different story, and that’s what makes this work so beautiful. I take the time to listen, to learn what matters to you, and to craft a ceremony that feels honest, joyful, and true to who you are. I work with all kinds of couples: spiritual, non-religious, interfaith, LGBTQ+, multicultural. I’ve had the joy of honoring many different traditions and ways of celebrating love. Whether you're blending beliefs or creating your own path, I’ll meet you with openness and care. I also offer bilingual ceremonies in English and Portuguese.
