Rev. Elle Sojourner is a Certified Life Cycle Celebrant™, Teacher, and Author. As the owner of Spirit Fire Life Ceremonies, she crafts rituals and ceremonies for regular folks with extraordinary souls. Although she is formally educated and trained, life, love, and experience have been her most profound masterclass. She helps others grow in love through weddings, funerals, and Soul Circles­™. Elle delights in life’s joys, including her son, turtle, and dog. And she keeps her cup full with nature, music, laughter, and dance.

Experiencing a Spirit Fire wedding is a celebration of love. Ceremonies are crafted authentically and holistically without social or religious constraints. This is a full-time celebrant practice which offers white glove customer.

    Everybody Loves Elle

    All of our guests sang high praises of our officiant, saying things like, "She really knew what she was doing!" Elle is an expert at her craft and was a breeze to work with. You will not regret having her on your special day! (Especially because she will make sure you get the perfect shot of your ceremony kiss!)

    Joyful Celebrant

    Elle has a grounding, joyful energy that carried the day. When we first met with her, we had what could perhaps be called "dumb" questions (how long the ceremony should be, how do we stand, what should the groom wear, what exactly was our dress code, what's a unity ceremony, etc.) but she had great insight and feedback, and provided excellent resources on potential ceremony elements. Thanks to Elle we were able to create a ceremony that was meaningful to us and our families. It is so clear that Elle loves love and it was an honor to have her be part of our love story.

    Highly Recommended as an Officiant and Celebrant!

    For anyone looking for a Officiant/Celebrant, we would strongly recommend Spirit Fire Life Ceremonies! Elle Sojourner was extremely professional, timely, and detailed in what to expect! The requests we had for the ceremony were also met and exceeded our expectations! Above all, Elle made the moment important, but also welcoming. A lot of our worries or tensions were alleviated with her ability to make the major event less daunting. Of course, this didn't take away from the importance of the ceremony, but rather helped everyone relax and execute the ceremony with ease.     Loved having Elle officiate our "micro-wedding"

    Elle has incredible energy for this line of work—she's very down to earth, but you can tell she takes the responsibility of leading couples through this momentous occasion seriously. She was such a consummate professional throughout the whole process of preparing for our "micro-wedding!" She helped us clarify our thoughts and distill exactly what we wanted to say into a short and sweet ceremony that struck all the right chords. I'm a writer and editor, so I can be a little nit-picky about language, but Elle's "script" for our ceremony hardly needed any revising. I really appreciate how she took the time to get to know us and our story in the weeks leading up to the ceremony. It was truly a collaborative experience. Highly recommend!
