Sarah started an event/wedding planning business in 2024. Since then she has become a certified civil celebrant for the state of Virginia in 2025. Sarah made this decision because she wanted to be able to support couples in multiple ways during this process.

As your officiant, I bring warmth, compassion, and a genuine love for people into every ceremony. I take the time to truly get to know each couple—their story, their values, and what makes their love unique—so your ceremony feels personal, heartfelt, and authentic. I proudly officiate weddings for all couples, regardless of race, background, or sexual orientation. Love is love, and I am honored to celebrate it in all its beautiful forms—as long as it’s legal, I’m here to say “I do” right along with you.

Sarah "mawwied" us in Sterling, Virginia
We picked Sarah from among multiple other approved wedding officiants for Loudoun County. From the start, she shared our joy for our impending union and made our family feel comfortable and loved leading up to and during the ceremony. She even played along when I asked her to mimic the wedding scene from the "Princess Bride" and did a spectacular job. She made our special day all the more meaningful with her presence and care. And the legal paperwork was in the mail on time and confirmed as delivered to the government! Please don't hesitate to partner with Sarah for your nuptials!

Sarah is great
Working with I Got A Love Jones Events took so much stress off our shoulders leading up to the big day. From our first conversation, the team made us feel heard and included us in every decision, even when we wanted to incorporate our family traditions into the ceremony and reception. They were calm and patient through the entire planning process, which helped us stay relaxed even when we hit bumps along the way. On our wedding day, we didn't have to worry about a single thing because they had thought through every detail and made sure everything ran smoothly. Every penny we spent with them was worth it—their dedication to making our day special showed in everything they did. Working with Sarah was Amazing!!!
Working with Sarah was one of the greatest blessings of our wedding day. From the very beginning, she brought such warmth, professionalism, and genuine care to every step of the process. What makes her support even more incredible is that she was able to pull everything together for us with only one month of planning runway. In such a short amount of time, she made the entire process feel calm, organized, and seamless. On our wedding day, she went above and beyond as both our coordinator and officiant. She handled every detail with grace, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy each moment without stress or worry. Amazing Wedding Officiant
Sarah was absolutley amazing to work with. She was super responsive and was able to answer any questions we had. And not to mention she is a total sweetheart! She truly made the process super easy and we didn't have to worry about a thing! Would remmend her over and over again. :)

I Got A Love Jones Events did a great job planning our simple wedding ceremony. Their communication style was very easy and straightforward - they were a breeze to work with. They were also easy to be around and talk to, which made the whole process stress-free.
