Sarah started an event/wedding planning business in 2024. Since then she has become a certified civil celebrant for the state of Virginia in 2025. Sarah made this decision because she wanted to be able to support couples in multiple ways during this process.

As your officiant, I bring warmth, compassion, and a genuine love for people into every ceremony. I take the time to truly get to know each couple—their story, their values, and what makes their love unique—so your ceremony feels personal, heartfelt, and authentic. I proudly officiate weddings for all couples, regardless of race, background, or sexual orientation. Love is love, and I am honored to celebrate it in all its beautiful forms—as long as it’s legal, I’m here to say “I do” right along with you.

The Best Officiant!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Sarah to officiate our wedding on October 24, 2025. She was the absolutely best to work with! She was attentive, kind, friendly, and the most helpful! She told us everything that we needed to do leading up to the wedding, she included a prayer and catered to our religious beliefs by including that in our ceremony. She was so accommodating and supportive and even though we forgot our marriage license the day of the wedding, she didn’t panic or worry because the very next day we were able to meet up with her and give her the license to complete and sign so it could go out right away. If you are looking for someone to officiate your wedding and do a wonderful job doing so, look no further cause she is the best! She also does wedding coordinating as well, so you get a wonderful package deal with her if you need it! Our special day couldn’t have gone as planned and as smoothly without her. Thank you so much, Sarah! We are forever grateful!

Working with the team at I Got A Love Jones Events was an absolute pleasure. While I communicated with Sarah anytime of day she was there and ready with a reply! She took everything in no matter how much I was confused and nervous throughout the process because of course this is a once in a lifetime experience. She took everything I said and made it beautiful! I sent her a super long poem to read for the ceremony and the delivery of it was everything I ever would want on our very special day. In all, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to unite our union.
