Hi, I’m Lauren, the owner of Lauren Katherine Creative, and I’m passionate about capturing the magic of weddings. I’ve always been drawn to photography, ever since childhood, when I fell in love with the art of storytelling through images. Now, I get to do what I love most—helping couples turn their vision into lasting memories. My goal is to make everyone feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera, so I can capture those authentic, meaningful moments. With a background in film, I bring a creative, cinematic touch to every shot, making sure your wedding photos reflect the beauty and emotion of your special day.

My style is timeless, blending the authenticity of candid moments with my expertise in posing, ensuring you look and feel your best. I also provide the option to add film photography for an extra touch of elegance and nostalgia. I only book one event per day to give each couple the attention they deserve, and I’m happy to offer additional hours if needed. I’m excited to now offer photo and video bundles, making it easy to capture every angle of your big day. Your final images will be delivered as digital files, with options for prints and custom albums—ensuring your memories are preserved as beautifully as your wedding day itself.

    Lauren was an incredible photographer to capture our wedding day. We also had our engagement session with her, as that comes in a package. Being able to have this engagement session was great to get to know Lauren better and have a preview of how our wedding day will go. We loved Lauren's personality, how easy and comfortable her instructions were for posing, and how beautifully the photos were edited. There's no worry of "awkward" photos with Lauren as your photographer. We loved the flexibility we were given. Originally the cost was slightly over budget for me, but with communication and working together we were able to find a custom package that would fit in our budget. She was also happy to re-edit or make tweaks to any photos! Overall, Lauren was amazing fantastic photographer that I would recommend to all in the MD and PA area. We received sneak peak photos of our wedding day just days after our wedding and the full album within 6 weeks of our wedding. It was so fun reliving the day through her photos. We couldn't be more grateful for Lauren's work and how beautiful the photos turned out.

    I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER we booked Lauren for our engagement and wedding photography. From freezing with us in a light snow during our outdoor January engagement shoot to sweating it out with us during our August wedding, Lauren made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured the most emotional candids, cozy prompted, and classic posed shots no matter the conditions thrown at her. Lauren is a quick, clear communicator and has a great eye for detail, catching phones in pockets during our family photos and giving us the option to change up our photo timeline day of when the sun was setting quicker than we thought. Despite shooting another wedding the day after ours, she turned around a TON of sneek peak photos within 4 DAYS of our wedding, and they were every bit as magical and emotion-filled as the day was to us. Booking Lauren was probably one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process- 110% recommend!

    We are so so so happy that we booked Lauren for our wedding day. She and Julianna (second shooter) were so incredible. They made us feel so comfortable and did a great job at keeping everyone on track. We just got our sneak peek back and they are so much better than we even imagined. We couldn’t be happier that we chose Lauren as our photographer.
