I’m a high energy self taught photographer, I started this beautiful journey 4 years ago. Lucid Memories Photography by Delycia has been published in about 15 portrait magazines and participated in countless collaborations with other great small businesses in my area. I fell in love with telling couples love stories so quickly! There was something about photographing two people in love and telling their story. I firmly believe your photos should show you and your partners personalities. There’s nothing better than being able to be comfortable, and act like yourself for those lifelong pictures!

I have a unique and different style with lighting, posing, and editing. I have a moody, dark, dramatic type of editing style. I tend to use lighting techniques to make the photo include feeling as well as look great. There’s nothing better than having one of a kind photos!

I had a very limited idea of what I was looking for in a photographer, but as soon as I came across Delycia's website, I knew I wanted her! Delycia was extremely good at communicating, she was organized and efficient, and worked with us to make our wedding day special. From the moment she started, both my husband and I felt very comfortable with her and her second photographer. The quality of their photos, the moody editing, and the variety was wonderful. We do wish we had a little more photos of our guests, but we had a very short wedding and there was a lot packed into it. We LOVED our first look photos and will treasure them for years to come. I would absolutely recommend Delycia and encourage you to book her before someone else does!! Thank you Delycia for your wonderful work in making our wedding a day to remember!

We had an amazing experience working with Delycia for our wedding & engagement photos recently! She was very easy to work with & made us feel comfortable during our engagement session and wedding. We love all the photos she provided - there are so many to choose from! We especially love her warm & moody style, which went great with our more boho, terracotta style wedding (and my red hair). Delycia was a delight to work with! She met with us over the phone, since we were planning out of state, and explained clearly what her services were, and what to expect before, during, and after the wedding! She was awesome at working with two very awkward people, and coaxing some beautiful photos out of us. And, she was just so much fun to be around. Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

My highest package includes a second photographer. You can always request a second photographer for a few even if you didn’t choose the highest package. I will bring an assistant depending on how big your wedding is for no extra cost.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. Retouching services are included for no extra fee.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Since I have been photographing weddings, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement!
