    Man what a night!

    Michael, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you and even greater pleasure working with you. I always enjoy working with other wedding vendors that 'get it' and you my friend are one of those vendors. First off - you were dynamic on the microphone! You had that crowd in the palm of your hand, like nothing I've ever seen before! furthermore, your song selection was absolutely spot on for those guests! And you looked like you were having just as much fun as they were, which made all the other vendors have a good time (myself included) I wish you were the dj for all of my weddings. Thank you again, it was an absolute pleasure meeting, and working with you! I wish you the best with all of your dj endevors. Cheers!

    Michael was just amazing to work with!

    I just wanted to stop by to thank you for your professionalism, and for being so thorough. I’ve worked with a lot of wedding vendors and you were well organized and prepared, you communicated with all of the other vendors (myself included) to make sure we were always on the same page. I have plenty of horror stories about other DJ’s that I’ve worked with over the years, I’ll spare you the details…but you were just a breath of fresh air! The other vendors noticed too, I over heard them saying that they were impressed at how many people were on the dance floor and that you were the best they’d heard. If I ever get married, you’re my guy! All the best with your new company. Anyone that chooses to go with you will not regret it.

    Michael is a total ROCKSTAR!

    Michael, thank you for all of your hardwork and helping us plan and execute what was by far the best night of our lives! Your expertise and input was greatly appreciated and exactly what we needed. I'm so glad we decided to work with you, I am coninced that no one else could have created such an amazing event.     What a Party!

    My partner and I are known for being the life of the party, so when we got married we knew it had to the most epic party we’ve ever done. We found Michael’s website and scheduled a free consultation. Michael was kind, and very thorough. He asked about our vision for the day, and was really focused on what we wanted which made us feel very comfortable and confident that he would deliver on our expectations. And let me tell you…did he DELIVER! First, the setup was clean and intentional, he did not overlook even the slightest detail. Our introductions were none traditional and he nailed it! After our first dances and dinner it was time to crank it up, and for the rest of the night EVERYONE was on the dance floor. I don’t even think we said hi to everyone that came…I’m talking music thumping, lights flashing, banger after banger being played!! The absolute BEST night of our lives! I need a DJ like Mikie J just for everyday use. We are still getting compliments from our guests… so if you’re reading this, and you want to make sure you have the time of your lives, you’ve found your guy!

    Michael was such a great DJ

    He was receptive to our style as a couple and integrated our must plays. We had a call the week before the wedding to go through the timeline and each song from the walk down the aisle to our grand entrance. he made us feel so secure in our choices and added songs that fit with our vibe. My husband is Albanian and he was able to accommodate the cultural dances that Mother in Law requested. We got so many compliments regarding the music at our wedding. Both the younger people and the older family members were dancing all night. Overall Michael was very professional and helped us have such a great party.


Yes! You can customize everything; the playlist/do not playlist, enhancements, to how many performance hours you would like. We know no 2 weddings are alike, and love to create/plan an event that is as unique as you are!
Great question! 1 - My equipment; we spared no expense, everything we use is top quality in addition, a facade will cover any wires creating a clean, uniform appearance. We also do not use your event as a showcase for our next event. So there are no neon signs of any kind. We will set the mood with up lighting that matches the venue and your color scheme.
If it's a good fit for both of us a service agreement will be provided along with options to pay the deposit. Once those are received you are officially booked! You will then be given access to the Vibo DJ planning app. and you're off to planning mode! We will check in about 6 months prior, and around 2-3 weeks prior to your event for any last minute details. The balance will be due around that time as well.
We can, and will however, some clients have asked us not to, and we always adhere to what we agree to. This is where your do not playlist would come in, if it's ok for us to take a few requests we would cross reference the do not playlist to make sure the request is appropriate.
Yes, Absolutely! The Total cost is based on performance hours + any enhancements. We can include whatever you may need for the ceremony; wireless mics for the groom and officiant, mic on a stand for a reading, and of course music for the prelude in addition to the ceremony.
We are based out of Budd Lake, New Jersey and will travel within 100 miles. Travel fees apply for any venues outside of the area and are handled on a case by case basis.
The day of is when it all comes together and you get to see all of your hard work come to life! We usually arrive about 3 hours prior to when your guests start to arrive (sometimes earlier depending on enhancements added) to unload and get setup, and run through everything one last time. We will also take advantage of this time to meet your vendors and sync our timelines together before we get started.
We have a secure site that accepts; debit/credit cards ( a small convenience fee will be added for any debit/CC's) We are happy to accept Venmo/Paypal.
Although this has only happened once since 1996 - One of our trusted DJ's would be assigned immediately to provide coverage. They would be provided whatever music/equipment needed to perform the event in accordance to the service agreement.
As many hours as you need with about 5.5 - 6 being the avg. for a ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner/reception.
No. All of our music is kept on a computer. This helps to ensure there will not be any drop-offs in musical performance.
Yes. We always have backup equipment. (Laptop, controller, speakers, wires, mics, pants, and people)
Yes. We have $1,000,000 in liability insurance for each event, and will provide the venue with a COI upon request.
