Our guests LOVED him they are still talking about how awesome our DJ was. For months, we jumped on calls to perfect the experience we wanted and Alex was so incredibly supportive the entire time. A week before our wedding we had to change our wedding and he was one of the first people we called. Within minutes he had lists of places to call. When we figured out a new venue he did everything he could to become familiar with the new space and the owner. We arrived to the reception with our vendors all knowing eachother like they were friends all along - it was so unified like one family coming together. “We found MATS at a friends wedding and knew right away that we wanted them to be our wedding band! They were both affordable as an 8 piece band (but you have many options) & amazing having the wedding guests on the dance floor the entire night! Marlon coordinated everything with us and made it very easy with a template he already built. We let them choose the songs with a few do not play lists. They even let us customize the night including a song they learned for us by our request, singing happy birthday to my maid of honor, & letting my father in law sing a song with the band. It was all so memorable! I would recommend them to anyone, especially if having your wedding in the greater Chicago area!!”

Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“As the groom I was responsible for the music. I interviewed several DJs and was impressed with DJ-Chicago. Nick, owner, was service oriented and was flexible with options. Nearing the wedding, Nick was focused on announcements and walk-in songs. At the reception, Nick was great at keeping the crowd dancing and sticking to our playlist options. With no reservations I'd refer friends and family to DJ-Chicago.”

“We booked Groove is in the heart & DJ Clare for our wedding. We had a wide range of music tastes and weren’t sure how it would all come together but Clare handled it effortlessly. She read the room, kept the energy going, and made sure every moment had the perfect soundtrack. From the pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, to the dance floor, everything flowed beautifully. We didn’t have to worry about a thing Clare had it all under control and kept the party going. She covered everything from oldies and Suavemente to Blink-182 and somehow made it all feel cohesive and fun. One moment that really stood out was when we asked to include a specific meaningful slow song that was used as the first dance at my husband’s brother’s wedding. Clare was completely receptive and even offered to call them out before playing it, turning it into a sweet and memorable moment for everyone. Thank you Clare!!!”
