    I could write a book about how awesome this experience was. Ken and his team were absolutely phenomenal and played a huge role in making our wedding unforgettable. From the very first conversation to the last song of the night, everything was seamless, professional, and executed perfectly. One of the most magical moments of the evening was our first dance with the dancing-on-the-clouds effect. It created an incredible, dreamlike atmosphere that looked stunning in person and in our photos and videos. It was truly a moment that we'll cherish forever. Ken's entire setup was top-notch. The sound quality was crystal clear, the lighting transformed the room beautifully, and every detail was thoughtfully planned and executed. You could tell he takes tremendous pride in his craft and wants every couple's day to be perfect. What really set Ken and his team apart, though, was their energy. They kept the dance floor packed all night long and knew exactly how to read the crowd. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they created an atmosphere where everyone—from our youngest guests to our oldest relatives—was out dancing and having an amazing time. If you're looking for a wedding DJ who combines professionalism, incredible production, attention to detail, and unmatched energy, look no further than Ken.     Amp Events—DJ Jimmy

    We had Jimmy Tokarski from Amp events as our wedding DJ and he was phenomenal! Not only did he keep the energy up, and engaged all of our guests, but he was so easy to work with. He really cared about our special day just as much as us. He got in an accident the week of, and still showed up for us, bruised face and all. We told him we wanted our guests to be on the dance floor all night and he delivered!! The dance floor was literally full all night. We have gotten so many compliments about him, and I have had multiple friends reach out weeks after our wedding saying that the music at other weddings they’ve attended isn’t the same because of how good ours was. You will not regret going with Amp Events and having Jimmy as your DJ!

    Perfect for our Wedding Reception!

    We chose Amp Event Professionals for our wedding reception, and we could not be more pleased with our experience working with them! Grant was the DJ for our reception, and he was very experienced and thorough. We had multiple phone meetings with Grant and Ken to discuss the details for our wedding day, and they were both very attentive to our ideas. By the end of our final phone conversation, I truly felt like I didn't have to worry about the music portion of our wedding, which was such a weight off my shoulders! We ordered the package that came with uplighting, and it really tied our entire reception hall together! One unique request that we had for our wedding was to have a bridesmaid and a groomsman perform a song at our reception, which involved two plug-in acoustic guitars and a microphone stand. Grant went out of his way to have an extra meeting via phone with the them to ensure that everyone had all of the necessary equipment. He also answered any questions that they had via email as they came up. In the end, the performance was absolutely perfect. We could not be more grateful to Grant and Ken for helping make this performance happen. Our wedding guests are still talking to us about how amazing it was, and that truly means the world. We would highly recommend Amp Event Professionals for wedding receptions in the Chicagoland area! They made our wedding day so special, and we cannot thank them enough for that!

    You’ve found the right DJ!!

    Finding the right DJ is one of the most important wedding decisions you'll make, and DJ Ken is the absolute gold standard! His experience shows in everything from the high end production value to the tiny details that made our night perfect. Ken didn’t just play music, his expertise helped us tailor the entire evening to fit our specific vision. He’s so good, he even got my 90 year old grandma out of her wheelchair and onto the dance floor! We’re especially grateful because he spent his own wedding anniversary making ours special, now we share that date forever! I can't recommend him enough; he truly made it the best night of our lives.

    The absolute Best!!!

    Ken was an absolute rockstar from start to finish. He met with us multiple times before the big day to make sure every detail was perfect, from the ceremony to the final song of the night. He was extremely detail oriented, coordinating seamlessly with our other vendors and making sure everything ran smoothly. As an MC, he went above and beyond to keep the day flowing perfectly and the energy high all night. What really stood out was how much Ken truly cared about us as a couple. He was genuinely excited for our wedding and helped us with several personal add-ons that made the day feel uniquely ours. His setup is truly next-level: a one-of-a-kind DJ booth with a big screen for day-of photos, custom music videos synced to his mixes, and even CO2 guns that took the dance floor to the next level. He also suggested adding walk-up songs for our wedding party’s speeches, which was a fun idea and a total hit with our guests. We got so many compliments afterwards, and everyone wanted his card! All in all, Ken is an amazing MC, an excellent DJ, and just an awesome person to work with. He kept the dance floor packed all night and made our wedding unforgettable. Highly recommend!!!
