He expertly laid out the train of my dress, helped me fix my hair, etc. and also touched up the photos afterwards to fix little things. He did a great job guiding us with suggested poses while also capturing our spontaneous candid moments. “I came to your team 6 weeks out from my wedding after a bad experience at a previous hair and makeup trial with another vendor, feeling very sensitive and nervous about how hair and makeup with another team would go. After a perfect trial with Heather and Suzy, I was so relieved and confident about working with them on my wedding day. After the trial, I made a last minute change on my hairstyle for the wedding by deciding I wanted a flower crown, and took a leap of faith in hoping that Suzy would be able to help put it on me during a very tight window as a surprise for the ceremony. I mean it to my core when I say that I could not be more elated about how it all turned out. Suzy absolutely crushed it. Heather completely understood what I was asking for and flawlessly executed it. They both listened to my requests and feedback without judgement and did an amazing job. I also really appreciated that they both heard me when I let them know I was introverted and probably would want to use my hair and makeup time as a social battery recharge opportunity rather than engaging. I really felt like they respected this and did not take it personally, and I never had to remind them of it. I even noticed how they adapted their engagement depending on which people in my wedding party they were working on. “After meeting dozens of photographers, scrolling hundreds of portfolios, and feeling like all wedding photographers were the same, I saw Margarita at a wedding expo booth. Her display photos were nothing I had ever seen from a wedding photographer before...an artistic voice. Scroll her work and you'll be relieved to find someone who captures raw, real emotion and doesn't rely on 50 filters and over saturation in her work. Her prices were incredibly reasonable so we booked her immediately. After talking with us, she suggested we do our engagement shoot at a brewery/arcade which we had never been to and now we go every week! Props to her Baltimore city knowledge and ability to read us to find one of our favorite places that has significant meaning More importantly, when we got our photos back, we were floored. Neither my partner nor I really like our photos taken but we loved the photos and how we looked. She brought out the models in us with such ease because the whole time you work with her it feels like your with a friend who just happens to have a camera. It all felt natural and genuine and you can see it in the photos. The wedding was the same thing - just a laidback feeling between my spouse, Margarita, and me just hanging out. Yes, she can shoot a camera. Yes, she can edit photos. Yes, she can properly read light and stage photos. All necessary skills of a photographer but her real skill is making connections with her clients and capturing genuine emotions and moments. She'll set your mind at ease so you can be present with your partner to enjoy your day then she'll deliver you hundreds of breathtaking photos. Book her, you won't regret it.”
