My name is Layne, I am a 25 year old photographer based out of Connecticut, but always down to get out of here and travel! I have a passion for capturing some of life's most beautiful moments and turning them into a memory you can truly cherish forever. My love for photography has gotten me through some of the worst times and is my saving grace. Because of that, I don't plan on ever putting my camera down. I am not here to put you in the perfect pose; I am here to capture real, authentic emotion! I live in Willimantic, CT in a converted firehouse with my boyfriend Tylor & our dog Maple, and I love a lot of things haha. When I'm not behind the camera, I am swing dancing, painting, playing piano, cooking, hiking with Tylor and Maple, or editing your photos & videos! I have decided to just shoot for my dreams and become a full-time photographer & videographer! You only live once, right? So why not re-direct my life towards a more fulfilling path of doing what makes me happiest?! So yeah- that's what I'm doing- and I am LOVING it.

It's so nice to meet you! I was born and raised in New Jersey (a.k.a. I didn't pump my own gas until I moved to Connecticut 8 years ago)! Fueled by caffeine, I love discovering adorable coffee shops, supporting farm-to-table restaurants, and traveling anywhere and everywhere. Although I love exploring quaint towns across New England, I spend most days with my husband, 7-year-old daughter, our two Labradoodles, and cat! They take up most of my camera roll because they are just so darn cute.

When I was 14 years old my father gave me a small digital point-and-shoot camera which he claimed was broken; turns out it only needed new batteries to start working again. After a good 6 months of using this little camera, my mother enrolled me in photography classes during the summer and that's when I got my first Digital SLR. Needless to say, I've never stopped taking pictures since then.

Alicia was born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut and spent five years as a young adult living in Copenhagen, Denmark. Somewhere between strolling the streets of Yale University as a little girl and exploring the old cobblestone roads of Europe as an adult, Alicia developed a love for architecture, light, and the old soul feeling that comes with analog documentation. Alas, a film photographer was born in the streets of Europe somewhere in the early 2000's, one who had a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for fashion. My style of photography tells the story of your day that is found in between moments.

October 9th, 2010 - (10-9-10) I married my beautiful wife, Christy. Christy is the Studio Manager of Studio Ten9Ten. Together, on October 9th, 2010 we experienced a day full of family, friends, love and laughter. It is a day that we will continue to share with each other, with our kids, and hopefully our grand-kids. Experiencing this event gave a whole new meaning to the importance and significance of a wedding day. I am honored to be given the trust and the priviledge of telling a family's most important story for generations to come.
