When I was 14 years old my father gave me a small digital point-and-shoot camera which he claimed was broken; turns out it only needed new batteries to start working again. After a good 6 months of using this little camera, my mother enrolled me in photography classes during the summer and that's when I got my first Digital SLR. Needless to say, I've never stopped taking pictures since then.

The name Luz Photography came from a very special person I met several years back by the name of Luz Velazquez. She inspired me to start my own photography business, and so here I am today. With the help of my husband and the loving memory of Luz, I set forth into the photography world. I have been taking pictures for close to 10 years now and can't imagine doing anything else. I love capturing special moments during different occasions, ranging from the magical welcoming of a lovely wedding or simply family portraits.

You are welcome to purchase as many images as you want. With a typical Full Session you can expect between 60 and 120 images to choose from. I choose to include some images in each session because I have never liked how some photographers charge you for your session and don't include any images in the cost.
All prices are plus 6.35% sales tax. There is also a $1/mile travel fee for any session more than 20 miles from my studio.
We do require a $50 deposit to book your session, but this does go towards the total cost of your session.
It depends, some sessions require more post editing than others so the extra images cost more. There are also quantity discounts.
